NEOC was an absolutely incredible venue and our guests were so blown away by the beauty this place has to offer! We had a tent wedding, the ceremony was by The Point, and we used the Event Center for our rehearsal dinner & welcome drinks. Everything was so stunning. The staff was super nice and Shorey the coordinator is super laid back. There were some hiccups with small things, and most (not all) of our food choices were honored by the chef (we designed our own menu start to finish for all events), but everything was handled well and our guests loved it. If you want a wedding where everyone can stay onsite and enjoy the beauty of Maine definitely book NEOC!

NEOC WAS THE PERFECT PLACE FOR OUR WEDDING. We had family and friends traveling from all over the country and having lodging on site was incredible. Julie was the best wedding coordinator ever. She remembered the smallest details and was always open to chatting when we had questions. She made the day run seamlessly. The food was to die for. Our guests are still taking about how good it was. Neoc was also great about being flexible and making any food or drink packages work for our needs. It was the most perfect day. If you are considering on going with NEOC just do it!! You won’t regret it .

Perfect for couples who love nature and the outdoors, this destination boasts magnificent beauty in towering pines, a glimmering lake, and Maine’s highest mountain as a backdrop. NEOC allows wedding guests to make the most of their stay with amenities, including whitewater rafting, mountain biking, guided hiking, and wildlife tours, all available through the resort. Winter activities include snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and fat tire mountain biking. FACILITIES & CAPACITIES Whether a winter wonderland wedding is the desire or a summery ceremony and celebration, this venue always delivers. Ceremonies can be held at The Look, off the patio at our Event Center, or by The River Drivers in the colder months. Tents may be erected to accommodate up to 300, making it ideal for couples wanting something grand and expansive. Our brand-new event center on Hammond Ridge offers spectacular views of Katahdin and Millinocket Lake and can accommodate up to 150 guests. SERVICES OFFERED The onsite team at NEOC will work tirelessly to ensure every event goes off without a hitch. Their talented event coordinators have invaluable experience and knowledge to make your event memorable. The resort's culinary chefs can customize a menu for each couple’s wedding to suit the palette and dietary requirements of the guests. And finally, to make the stay as memorable as possible, the team can coordinate the use of our charming lakeside cabins for your guests. ng up to our big day in June and she went above and beyond to ensure all of our questions were answered and that our day went exactly how we imagined it. I really appreciated the various location options for each event, too. We chose the brewery for our welcome party, the Point on the lake for our ceremony, and then the gorgeous event center for our cocktail hour and reception. You have so many options to choose from to make the day just as you have dreamed and everything on the property is so beautiful and well maintained. We live in Massachusetts but have a cabin close by to NEOC so I was nervous at first to plan a wedding out of state but it was such a seamless process thanks to NEOC and Julie. We also booked all of the cabins on site so that our wedding day became a wedding weekend away. This was a huge added bonus and allowed for all of our family and friends from out of state to enjoy our wedding weekend with us. They were absolutely blown away by the venue and everyone wants to plan another trip up now that they have experienced northern Maine! Our wedding weekend was truly magical and I would highly recommend NEOC to anyone looking for a venue that showcases all of the beauty and fun that the Katahdin region has to offer all while providing excellent food and service from start to finish.

the most gorgeous view of ktàtən (Katahdin). My wife is Penobscot and Passamaquoddy (Wabanaki) and it meant so much to both of us to be able to have our ceremony on such sacred land. The staff were also wonderful throughout the resort. LGBTQ friendly as well.

y and Julie are the most amazing coordinators. They are both so knowledgeable and were able to help make our wedding dreams come true. Not only them, but the whole staff were so welcoming to us and all our guests. They all went above and beyond to ensure the day went by beautifully and smoothly. I seriously could not get over how breathtaking and stunning the views were at both the Event Center and down at The Point. We were also able to have several of our guests coming from out of town stay close by in the cabins onsite. Our guests raved about all the amenities offered in their cabins, as well as on the property! I loved having my guests be able to make a fun and adventure filled trip out of our wedding weekend! Ktaadn Resorts provided us with such a premier experience and I could not have picked a better place to get married at! 🤍

ere we could place a hold on all of NEOC's guest cabins. Over the following year, working with Julie and the entire NEOC staff was a smooth and joyful process. Julie and her team were committed to making every detail of our weekend perfect, and the whole staff went above and beyond to make our guests (and us!) feel welcomed and celebrated. We held Friday evening welcome drinks at Knife Edge, where Julie herself scooped Giffords ice cream and Maine blueberry sauce. On Saturday morning, we had a fun run for our guests on the road, with granola bars outside River Drivers afterwards. Our ceremony was on the Point, and we made a last minute weather decision to move cocktail/mocktail hour up to the Event Center, where our reception was, as well. The whole day/weekend was just magical, made so by the people, the place, and the warmth and joy that emanated from both. I am so glad we found NEOC; having grown up in the Bangor area, it was important to me and my spouse that we found a place that felt authentically like the Maine we know and love. I would get married at NEOC a million times over!

tter place. Excellent service and wonderful amenities. We received many compliments on the food and venue. Our guests expressed their satisfaction with the lodgings. They enjoyed kayaking, hiking, and exploring nature. Ktaadn Resorts is an excellent wedding venue if you want everyone to stay in the same location and have the most enjoyable weekend-long party. On Friday night, we had a reservation for the rehearsal dinner at River Drivers Restaurant in the resort with family and friends. The staff were very kind and helpful. Some of our friends traveled from different states and arrived late for dinner. Julie was aware that our wedding party planned to visit the Knife Edge Brewing after dinner. She communicated with the team and the brewer to extend the closing time by one hour to ensure our guests had enough time to enjoy the night. Everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our wedding day so memorable!
