We had an amazing experience working with Neri. When we were looking for a wedding photographer, the drama of Neri's portfolio immediately stood out. She quickly followed up after first contact and got our contract in place. When we did our engagement shoot we knew we were in for something special. Her eye is incredible, and she improvised quite a few shots on the fly based on our interests and our location. We got the photos back and we were wowed by her work -- truly breathtaking images. Our wedding day was no different. Neri was efficient, professional, and brought real artistry to our photos -- again, picking out some spontaneous moments (like a gorgeous cloud formation during sunset and some fun with our parasols) to capture. The best indication of Neri's skill is our friends' universal response to the photos: "WHO WAS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER?" Neri is by far the most amazing photographer! She flew to Utah to shoot our engagements and our wedding! We love Neri and her work is amazing! Neri did our engagement photos and wedding photos (August 2022). We worked with Neri for our engagement and wedding photos and she is INCREDIBLE! She traveled to Chicago for the engagement photos and immediately put us at ease by suggesting a location order based on the types of shots we were looking for and even recommending a parking garage location. She is calm, confident, and a total pro at her craft! She gave us helpful directives about how to pose and kept it light and fun so we didn't overthink it. On our wedding day she jumped right in and took over in terms of lining up shots and keeping everyone in the right position. Neri is a phenomenal photographer. It really comes through in her work. She’s truly passionate about photography both personally and professionally, therefore having an extensive portfolio where you can see her work for yourself. Our main objective for this review is wanting to express to potential clients our trust in her skills as a photographer overall, not just creatively with the lens as well as her ability to build a long lasting relationship with her clients. We chose NeriPhoto for our wedding day after being impressed with her during a friend's wedding a few years before. In fact, she was the 1st vendor we locked in even before we had our venue. She books up fast and we wanted to make sure we had the best. We arranged a comprehensive package up front to include our engagement session, full wedding day coverage, a second photographer, travel, & ownership of all images. As part of our package, she flew to New York to do our engagement shoot in NYC which made it easier for us. She even helped us coordinate outfits beforehand which enhanced the final product. When we ran into weather issues & NYC gridlock that prevented us from hitting all of our chosen locations, she managed to keep us in good spirits & made the day fun so we came away with fantastic photos. On our wedding day, in northern Michigan, Neri worked effortlessly with our videographer, wedding planner, and guests. In addition, she exuded confidence in leading her apprentice and the 2nd professional photographer. It was clear she is well-respected & they’d probably worked together in the past. Neri had a cool, calm, no nonsense demeanor which kept everything on point and focused on getting great photos. She emphasized the timeline well in advance as a crucial component to ensuring we would get all the photos we desired. Logistics is key. It was beneficial to set expectations early on making for efficient use of the limited hours in a day. Our wedding party, immediate family & vendor crew knew where & when they needed to be so they could plan ahead to arrive on time, dressed & ready. She reminded us to bring our invitation suite, rings and other items we wanted as part of the detail shots and where they needed to be so she could photograph them on schedule. These points may seem minor or obvious, but are an example of the small but important details that proved essential to making our wedding day flow as smoothly as possible so we could enjoy it. The timeline allowed us to stay on schedule without feeling like we were on a schedule. It allowed us to be in the moment & for her to capture the candid, spur of the moment, unexpected shots, many of which turned out to be our favorites. She has a great eye for composition. One really important aspect of her photos is uniformity; this means paying attention to things like only wearing sunglasses if everyone in the shot has them, guests’ don't have their cell phones in the aisle, food is not served during speeches, pockets are empty, making sure everyone is tucked in close so there are no large gaps. She is observant of the details to prevent anything that could potentially ruin a flawless picture! As a result of these meticulous measures, we received glowing reviews from our wedding guests as well as praise from anyone who has seen our pictures. We have stunning memories to last a lifetime. I cannot begin to tell brides how amazing Neri is. I had first noticed her work when a high school classmate had posted her engagement photos. I was immediately struck by her talent, her eye for detail, her use of color, and her ability to really capture the personality of a couple. Neri has a way of making the world around you appear more beautiful and you look your absolute most stunning-without the use of crazy filters or excessive photoshop. When you look back in fifty years, you are going to want to see yourself and the love you have for each other and Neri manages to see that within minutes of meeting you. Neri is also the wedding professional to end all wedding professionals. She was instrumental in helping me plan the itinerary of my day and keeping the bridal party in check so we got where we needed to be and she got the shots she knew we would treasure for years (and lets be real-keeping tabs on a bridal party is like herding cats). Neri took the reins so a type A bride like me was able ACTUALLY RELAX and live in the moment of my wedding day. I don't think I can stress how wonderful that is or how I will never be able to thank her enough. The other best thing about Neri? Engagement photos or wedding photos, I got them almost immediately. I mean, like I was looking at our photos within HOURS. No waiting for weeks. No "here's three pictures to tide you over for four months". Hundreds and hundreds of stunning photos immediately. She is so hard working and respects how important it is for you to see your day that her turn around is nothing short of shocking. Neri shot my sister’s wedding in Michigan a few years ago, and so I knew she was going to be my wedding photographer before I knew who my partner would be. When the time came to begin looking, we got her availability before even beginning venue research. I promise you this is not a joke. She is just an incredible person. During the lead up to our wedding, she doubled as an advisor and secret wedding planner. She has a mind-blowing amount of expertise in the industry, and it was invaluable to have her insight into things (even non-photography related). On the day of, she absolutely ran the show, keeping perfect timelines & successfully wrangling all the cats (men). Her eye is so amazing - she used the environment to its full potential. Her photography style is a great mix of gorgeous stylized photos and very real candids, which makes for a really beautiful collection after the fact. Also, she had the most insane turnaround time after our date - she sent us the first batch of proofs like, the next day. Neri’s photos of our wedding are absolutely perfect, and help us relive our wonderful day. She’s worth every penny, and we (if it wasn’t already clear) HIGHLY recommend her!

HOLY AMAZINGNESS!!! Neri is incredible. Not only were we blown away, but everyone who has looked at the photos are in complete amazement! So many people have told me her photos of our day look straight out of a fairy tale magazine. In addition to being such a talented and incredible photographer, she helped keep everyone and everything organized during photos with the timeline and visually, went above and beyond - and not just photo related - she helped transport dresses, she was so supportive and helped keep everything on track the day of. Neri is absolutely AMAZING!!! She helped with planning my wedding, gave me a ton of helpful hints for what to expect on my wedding day, and also helped save me a ton of money by suggesting not to go for certain upgrades. She came on our destination wedding trip and offered to attend all of our events during the week without me ever asking. She suggested doing a "trash the dress" session during our trip and it was the best decision because our photos are amazing and we had so much fun. She is so easy to work with and has such an eye for taking amazing pictures, and has incredible attention to detail. We had some of our wedding pictures by the next morning, she is efficient and does not need to do a lot of editing because she pays attention to everything while taking photos. I can't say enough good things about her, our photos look like they are straight out of a magazine! I HIGHLY suggest hiring Neri, she is worth every penny!

Neri was AMAZING! My husband and I met Neri at the Grand Rapids Bridal Show. We were pretty sold on another photographer, but her pictures stopped us in our tracks and took our breath away. We quickly changed our original decision. Neri was awesome to work with! She provided directions to get the best shots! She is always right! Always listen to Neri! Our engagement session was amazing and beautiful. She took us to several locations around downtown GR and made each site unique and beautiful in its own way. We received our engagement session pictures within a week! Once our wedding approached, she helped us plan our timeline to incorporate pictures, fun, and more pictures! She was very helpful when it came to figuring out what we really want. The best part, on the wedding day we fell behind schedule (as always) and I tried to cut corners to catch up and she told me to throw the schedule and timeline away and roll with it. I definitely needed that! She still had a schedule in mind, but told me not to worry about it. During the wedding, she captured everything and once again we received our pictures within a week! We enjoyed looking at our first album on our honeymoon! It was fantastic to see everything! Choosing her was the best decision we could have made! She will forever be our photographer and I can't wait for future shoots with her! Oh and how can I forget about Tim! He was awesome too! Those two are a great team!

The magic that comes from Neri's photographs is unlike any other. Her vision is so on point & she handles herself extremely professionally. She is direct, witty & respectful, you can tell she wants to get the perfect shots. Neri also makes it fun, which is another reason why we enjoyed working with her so much. We had our engagement session and our wedding with her. From those 2 interactions and the communication between us, I want to be her lifelong friend. She is truly a really cool person. This is the photographer you can depend on. She was basically my wedding planner. You can count on this company to be VERY punctual, to the point, and exceptional quality photos. I stalked NeriPhoto on Instagram after I was engaged @NeriPhoto, and absolutely fell in love with her style. She photographed my engagement photos, wedding photos, and a private boudoir session. She taught my husband Evan and I the ropes on how to pose properly, the do's and don'ts and proper body language when we photographed the engagement sessions. She seamlessly guided us through the wedding timeline process. To the point where she came over voluntarily to my house and ate watermelon with me while cranking out my wedding day timeline and planned the entire day with me. I didn't have a wedding planner so she literally planned my wedding with/for me... I had so much fun with Neri during every session. She is full of spontaneous and AMAZING ideas in the moment, which make your photos so unique and not cliché like all of those weird engagement photos you see that look and feel like everyone else's. We had a wedding party of 16 and tight deadlines when mass ended and when dinner started. She was FOR REAL exceptional at gathering everyone's attention and getting SH*T done! Her team of 3 that night DID NOT mess around. They easily captured almost every guest in a photo at a 300+ guest wedding. So much fun and works SOO well with the other vendors that worked with us on our wedding day.

The advice I would give to any couples that are deciding on booking Neri, is to go for it right away because this will be the best decision you have ever made and you will be grateful to her forever! Words can't describe how happy and lucky we are to have met Neri and had her take pictures of our destination wedding. She has been extremely professional, warm, welcoming and has managed to capture the most magical moments of our wedding that we will remember forever and relive each time we look at our pictures. Neri made us feel comfortable from the get go, she knew exactly what to say and put as at ease while taking photos. She was always super responsive and made sure we had all our questions answered right away. She would always go above and beyond for us. She even helped us out with ideas and suggestions for our wedding planning and helping us create the vision we had in mind. Neri's work (check out her portfolio on her website!) speaks for itself. However, in case that’s not enough to convince you, let me elaborate. When my husband and I found Neri’s website, we knew we had to meet her. Upon meeting Neri, who was the only photographer we ever met with, we knew in the first 5 minutes she was our wedding photographer! I especially appreciated her insistence on having and engagement shoot since we were on the fence about it. Not only did we get some amazing photos, but it also allowed us to feel what it would be like to be in front of the camera on our wedding day. Not to mention, it gave us a reason spend time with her, which you won’t be disappointed in doing. Neri can attest I bounced ideas off her at least one a week starting in January of 2016 through our wedding in October of 2016. But she never once made me feel bad about doing so. I often felt like I was getting an opinion from a friend. It was very important to me that our wedding day ran on time, and Neri helped ensure that was the case. We had a phone call a few weeks before the wedding to discuss the wedding day’s timeline and she helped me with the fine details of that (i.e. when to begin hair and makeup, when to arrive at the venue for pre-ceremony photos.) She truly listens to what you want out of your day and then plans the logistics and captures it accordingly. I greatly valued her honest opinion on making a change to our wedding party entrance to the ceremony. She explained how it was not ideal from a photography perspective and because Neri had listened to my concerns about getting great photos of all parts of the wedding, I knew her idea was the better one. Once we got our photos back, we could not have been happier with making the change Neri suggested! She even helped us chose one of the entrance songs which was a huge hit with our guests! We also had a few special group photo requests for the wedding day photos, and Neri completed those efficiently, taking the reins and posing our friends and family quickly so we could move onto enjoying our reception- which we had told her was very important to us. Many brides get antsy for a preview of their wedding photos. Neri has you covered there, too. If you follow her Facebook page, you’ll notice she posts a highlights album of recent weddings she’s shot. She had ours up within just 2 weeks! How’s that for turn around time?! You won’t find a better option for your wedding photographer regardless of where you live. You’re getting a great photographer, certainly. But you’re also getting the opportunity to get to know an amazingly talented and caring woman who I now call a friend. (Because Neri is so good, she books up quickly. So be sure to request your booking well in advance. We had her booked by January of 2015 for our October 2016 wedding.)

Neri is the whole package. She is not only a phenomenal photographer, but also an extremely fun person to be around. I cannot emphasize enough how fortunate we were to have found her. After working with her for the last year and a half, we feel extremely lucky to have had her be a part of our special day. Early during the wedding planning phase, we searched through multiple wedding sites and contacted countless photographers to only be dissatisfied by unreasonably high prices and unwillingness to work with our budget. Neri stood out from the rest. She was the only photographer that had the skills we were looking for and a willingness to work with our budget, customizing the perfect package for our needs. Neri takes the time to work with her clients on a very individual level, all the while, maintaining a very friendly and positive attitude. She is very outgoing and has a strong passion for photography, which translates into stunning photographs. She is a true artist and very detail oriented. She will coach you every step of the way, making sure your facial expressions, hands, and body are perfectly positioned to capture the perfect image. Other than a few requests for specific poses and locations, Neri guided us very smoothly through each photoshoot we held with her (an engagement session and two weddings). We truly enjoyed getting to know her over the year leading up to our wedding. She treated Justin and I more as friends than just as clients. Looking back on our wedding I cannot imagine having another photographer. Neri was an integral part of making sure our day ran as smooth as possible. Justin and I were blessed to be able to celebrate our special day in the United States and France a week later, as his mother is originally from just outside of Paris. Although Neri’s schedule would not allow for her to be at the French ceremony, she made special arrangements to do a photoshoot with us in our wedding attire in Paris several days before the celebration. This meant traveling to Europe for a short two days to capture such a special time for us in Paris. I don’t know another person that would be as eager or willing to travel halfway across the world to capture some of the most memorable moments of our lives that we will share with our friends and family and cherish forever. This example demonstrates the fantastic photographer Neri is. She is spontaneous, adventurous, and will make your day her masterpiece. Anyone can call themselves an artist, but that doesn’t mean they are a good artist. Neri is an extraordinary photographer and an even more incredible human being. We are NeriPhoto clients for life!

Planning even a small wedding can be stressful. Our stress level went down to nothing once we were able to confirm Neri as our photographer. My husband suggested Neri for our destination wedding at the Las Vegas Neon Museum. We knew we had an opportunity to capture wonderful colorful photographs if we had the right photographer. Once I looked at Neri's website, I knew she was the only one for us. Her communication and planning took all the pressure off, and we couldn't wait to meet her in Vegas. I shared Neri's website with my sister who immediately called me to tell me what I already knew---We had the best photographer! Onsite, Neri thinks of everything and is prepared to anticipate and capture every shot you can imagine. She was open to our ideas and had plenty of her own. Neri's eye is incredible; she is a true artist! After two hours of incredible photos at the Neon Museum, we were driving down Las Vegas Blvd. thinking we had captured everything there was to capture. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the most colorful murals and asked if we'd be game to jump out and take a few more in front of the murals. They are some of the most beautiful and inspired images and everyone who has seen the photos has said they are some of their favorites! So, if you want beautiful, artful images, and want to have fun taking them with a creative and talented photographer, you will be overjoyed that you were fortunate to have Neri on your special day!

Soon after my husband and I got engaged I met Neri at a bridal show in Grand Rapids, Mi. I was with my mother-in-law and we stopped to look at her pictures. As we flipped through a photo album she had on display we both got very emotional over the beauty and love she captured in her pictures. We immediately thought she must be our wedding photographer so I went home and showed my husband her website. After I told him the cost he said it was out of the question. Many people told us you don't cheap out on a wedding photographer but somehow we decided we would. I didn't listen to my gut and we hired someone else who was a third of the price of Neri. We got our engagement photos taken just shy of a month before our big day and once we got our pictures back I was immediately disappointed. They weren't what I imagined and dreamed of, I knew we had to hire someone else. I immediately thought of Neri but doubted she was available. As fate had it, she was somehow available on 7/11. She was so kind and understanding and booked an engagement session with us just two weeks before the big day. We got our pictures back within 24 hours and I cried when I saw them. They were so beautiful and I couldn't believe I didn't hire her from day one. Once I showed my family and friends some of them teared up too. Her work is so powerful she truly knows how to capture your love for each other. Not only are we absolutely in LOVE with our wedding pictures we love Neri. I cannot tell you how many people gave us compliments about her. People went out of their way to say how impressed they were with her. A close friend said we were lucky to have her because someday soon she will be famous. Yea, wedding photography isn't cheap but if we had to do it all over again, we'd pay her twice as much because she is worth it. We have the most beautiful pictures we will treasure forever. We love you Neri! You are so worth it!!!!!

Neri is awesome! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience with Neriphoto. She is awesome and my photos are to die for. Of course I am a little bias but her work is flawless. She captured some of the most moments of our day. The groom was so beside himself and over all photos that had been taken but now even he is so proud to show off Neri's work. We have some traditional photos but others that are pure art work. I would recommend her to anyone.

Neri is fabulous! She is such a professional yet so much fun! I had a large bridal party and Neri was able to keep us all together to get photos done fast in the heat but that still looked awesome. She sent me our photos just days after my wedding and they are perfect. Neri is THE BEST!

Neri has been such a pleasure to work with. Her responsiveness is incredible - she really understands the stress and anxiety that can come with wedding planning and does a wonderful job being accessible to help make the process so much easier! She is a lot of fun and was more than willing to give her expert input when I struggled with various decisions. When we needed to make a late photographer switch from the photographer we originally hired, I contacted Neri and she was unbelievably helpful. She was (unsurprisingly) already booked the day of our wedding, but set up an unconventional arrangement for us with her and another photographer team to make sure we got our pictures taken. She met with me and the photographer team and numerous occasions and helped coordinate the entire process. Neri edited our pictures and my husband and i were happily shocked by her amazingly fast turn-around time on them! She clearly is an expert at what she does - both in her photography and customer service. I fully intend to work with Neri again in the future and highly recommend her!

Neri did a wonderful job for the moment we had our first meeting with her. My husband and I had "interviewed" numerous photographers and Neri was the only one that stood out to us. Pictures have always been very important to me because after your big day that's really all you walk away with! Neri was by far the BEST photographer I have ever worked with or have even found! Everyone comments on how amazing our pictures came out and my husband and I couldn't be happier!! Neri is so easy to work with and makes you feel so comfortable. In November of 2011 I got engaged, by December we settled on a wedding date in July 2012. With an 8 month time frame to execute an Indian wedding I first looked into photographers, I happened upon Neri's website while Googling my wedding venue, BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in Bartlett. Neri had shot some engagement photos there and the photos were stunning. Neri's pictures caught my eyes because they were bright and vibrant while classy and elegant. I quickly contacted her to inquire about her availability on my wedding date. She responded within the day. I was very detailed and extremely budget constrained. I worked with Neri in detail via phone and email about what was important to me, (pictures, photo album and a full 12-hour day) she was extremely responsive and had a clear cut attitude to deliver the product at a mutually agreed upon price. The best thing about Neri is that her product is wonderful and if you explain to her exactly what you are looking for you get exactly what you want. I had a four hour Hindu ceremony. I knew that was Neri's first time shooting a Hindu ceremony so I explained the details and even sent her a few shots of the important moments to capture during the ceremony. After I received my photos it was clear that she understood my specific requests. My pictures are perfect. They captured many of the natural happy moments between family members interacting as well as posed photos. I have many photos with great memories to look through and I am grateful for Neri's beautiful work in capturing our special day. Neri is a pleasure to work with and I have and will continue referring potential customers to her.

Hiring Neri as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. When we first met, her professionalism and understanding of what I wanted put her way above the rest. Plus, she is fun! She went above and beyond our expectations and is very easy to work with. She was with me (the bride) the entire wedding day and also included another photographer, also great, to take pics of the guys before the ceremony and to help with the pictures during and after the ceremony. They were with us a solid 12 hours, at least! And to top it off, we received our wedding pictures only two weeks after the event. In my opinion, NeriPhoto is the best deal in the area because for her time and results, any other photographer in the area would charge you double. If you are a discriminating bride, this is your girl!

Neri is amazing from beginning to end!

Neri was so great to work with! She was easy to get in contact with, and she focused on how she could make our wedding day run exactly as we wanted it. During the planning process she was full of helpful advice and suggestions, and she made me feel like I was the only bride she was focused on (even though I know I wasn't!). She really cares about getting to know her clients to make sure that her photos capture exactly what they want. I couldn't be happier with her services, and I recommend her to everyone I know!
