After meeting with many videographers, we are so happy we went with Michael! Everything turned out so great. He also gave us our videos back in such a timely matter. I’d highly recommend him and Nest!

Michael was simply amazing from the time we started talking about retaining him to the moment he delivered his product. It’s so clear to me that this isn’t about money for him, but actually making the bride/grooms day special. We worked with Michael for our 15-person back yard wedding that we also live streamed on Zoom for over 80 people. Michael did all the research necessary to make sure our zoom event was perfect! We had great reception throughout and everyone had a wonderful time. Also, the video Michael put together for us was so beautiful - it took the most magical moments and put them all together in a way that made me realize everything that happened that day! As a bride, I didn’t really experience my wedding day until I got to see this video. Finally, Michael just went above and beyond without asking - he brought a drone to film even though he didn’t have to. He took screen shots of our Zoom participants and sent them to me even though he didn’t have to. He cared about the product as much as I did and that meant the world. HIGHLY recommend!!

I chose Nest and Michael for the artistry he puts in capturing lighting and the music he chooses in his films. I am OBSESSED with my highlight video. My husbands reaction was “is our wedding coming out in theaters next month?” He also surprised me with a cinematic full wedding film that is a true treasure that our family will be able to enjoy for years to come. Michael truly made our wedding dreams come true! He captured everything so beautifully and will forever cherish our videos. Michael and his team were AMAZING!! I was a covid bride so we had postponed our date several times before finally being married on July 2nd 2021. Michael made the process extremely easy which was greatly appreciated given all the added stress of planning a wedding during covid. He has a very calming and laid back personality and is very talented! He and his second cinematographer made everyone feel so comfortable during the 8 hours they were shooting with us. They really captured all aspects of our day which I'm so grateful for because as the bride, there are so many detail that I missed because the day went by so fast!! We received a 4 minute highlight film and an hour long wedding film (which I watch at least once a week)!!! Our wedding videos are something we will cherish for the rest of our lives! Michael is such a joy to work with! He was responsive, came prepared (checked out our venue before the wedding), and gave us tips. Where do I begin! From the minute we met with Michael at our local coffee shop until the moment we said I do, I knew he was the perfect man to video our special day! So down to earth and humble, he asked us questions about how we met, our favorite things about each other, etc and really wanted to get to know us as a couple and as people. For me, building a relationship with your client is extremely important - and he did just that. Upon booking, he was very thorough in his strategy (your wedding day is truly a project that requires a solid strategy) and how he planned on capturing our special day and every moment that came with it. From beginning to end, we were utterly impressed with his professionalism and creative eye! The video turned out absolutely amazing and we literally watch it twice a year. Such a special day that we can relive through the highest video quality and post production. So glad we picked Nest Weddings and think you should too!

Booking Nest Weddings was the best decision we made for our wedding! I love our photos, but there is something so different about getting a video - it truly captures the day. Michael was awesome to work with and did an AMAZING job with our video and highlight video. I seriously could not be happier with how they turned out. I tell every bride when working with their wedding budget to consider cutting costs elsewhere but DO NOT sell yourself short on a wedding video! It is by far our greatest investment on the most special day of our lives. The cake goes stale, the flowers die and the decor no longer serves a purpose but your wedding video lives on and is something you and your significant other can reminisce on every anniversary for the rest of your lives. It is something we will forever cherish, our children can watch someday and I’m just so grateful we booked with Nest Weddings. I can’t recommend enough!

We could not be happier with our highlight and full length wedding video created by Michael from Nest Weddings! We were pretty late to the game in hiring a videographer, because we had decided that we were not going to have one at our wedding. But a couple weeks before the wedding we changed our mind. Michael was so quick to respond and coordinate with us and we were so lucky that we were able to book him. Michael was very flexible in helping us create a package that fit with our budget and was very accommodating. We originally only requested a wedding highlights video from him, but upon watching and absolutely loving it, we ultimately requested the full length video. Michael’s full wedding packages are definitely the way to go! On our wedding day, Michael was so kind and professional. He worked so well with all of our vendors; Our photographers even commented on how great it was to work with him because he was very cognizant to not get in their shots, and visa versa. We loved the special touches that Michael adds to his videos of having the couples write and share letters on the video, we found this so genuine. The quality of our video was amazing. Michael is so skilled in his craft. We also decided to have Michael pick the songs for our video and could not have been happier. We highly recommend Nest Weddings to capture your wedding day! We will be enjoying our videos for years to come!

Michael at Nest Weddings is a true professional, and is absolutely fabulous at what he does. He arrived on time and in great spirits on our big day, and was very kind and easy to work with. When we received our highlight film, we were in complete awe. The drone footage captured so many features that wouldn't have been visible without it, such as the ocean and surrounding harbor near where we were married. The editing style, music, clips, and entire flow of the highlight video was more than we could have dreamed. We received endless compliments. The best part about what Michael offers is a full length wedding day video edit. This is an extra service on top of the highlight film, but WELL WORTH the cost! This was the cherry on top for us. We received an hour long length video of our entire day, with every speech and dance and other footage as well. I noticed while searching for a videographer that not many companies offer the full length wedding edit, which to me was the whole point of a wedding video (to have years later to see the entire day). I also saw that some companies will give you the raw footage of your entire day, but it is not edited at all. Michael's was completely edited with music and put into an appropriate amount of time. I can't say enough good things. Hire him!!!!!!

Michael is awesome. After researching so many videographers, we decided to go with Michael because we loved his videos, reasonable pricing, and friendly/calm demeanor (we met with him in person before hiring him). We just had our wedding this past August 2019, so we don't have our video yet, but I know it is going to be amazing! The day of the wedding ran so smoothly-Michael and his assistant were so easy to work with and were on top of everything in terms of camera set-up, shooting every detail, etc. I definitely would recommend him and Nest Weddings for all your videography needs!

We wanted someone who had the artistry skills of a cinematographer and happens to make wedding videos. We struck gold with finding Michael. His videos, including our wedding video, are high-quality and have perfect sound, transitions, and creativity. It's journalistic yet sweet. Michael was professional, prompt, and knowledgeable, which made communication very smooth. The process itself was convenient via e-mail, Venmo, our initial phone call, and Vimeo download links. Michael was also very accommodating, capturing the items and vision I shared with him, while working around the schedule I had in place and my photographer. Planning a wedding on your own is really stressful but I don't think that I was stressed once about my videography during the wedding planning or during the wedding. In brief, talented, easy, and a product that will exceed your expectations -- I highly recommend Nest Weddings!!!

Michael Kroh not only produced the video in a timely manner, but was also very professional and personable in tailoring the video to the Bride and Groom's liking. Another reason I recommend Nest Weddings is that the full wedding video was also included along with the highlight video. Not many videographers off this option without charing double the price.

I had looked into EVERY videographer on The Knot in all of Orange County and Los Angeles and viewed a million, not literally but close, wedding videos before deciding to go with Nest Weddings. I had a TON of requests for what I wanted for my wedding video, and every one of them was met. I was literally a video-bridezilla, and Michael totally exceeded my expectations. Michael's team that covered our wedding day were a dream to work with and made my husband, myself, and our wedding party feel so comfortable with them. I LOVE the quality of our video. It looks so professional and so well-done. We've had so many compliments on it. I'm SO thankful that after my hours and hours and hours of videographer research, that we went with Michael and Nest Weddings!

We decided to meet with Michael after having read all of his amazing reviews online. I knew right away having met him that he was the perfect fit for us. I liked his very calm nature, and he really seemed to know what he was talking about. We hired him and on the day he was incredible. To be honest we didn't really even notice him there which I guess is how it should be! We only requested the raw footage as our friend offered to edit the video as our wedding gift but they got some really great footage and even had a drone flying over as the sun was setting on our dinner. He was a pleasure to work with, responsive, friendly, organised, would definitely recommend him

This is the easiest five star review I've ever made. The video that Michael and his team made for us: vimeo.com/126703198 was absolutely spectacular. Every person we've shown it to, has told us that it's the best wedding video they've ever seen. Michael is great to work with, and you barely see him, they take footage without having you think there's a camera following you. We were very close to not spending the money on a wedding video, but both my wife and I are extremely happy we did and would highly recommend Kroh for their big day.

Honestly, If I could give Kroh Media 10000000000000 stars, I would. I am a VERY picky, opinionated, "high maintenance" (as my husband likes to say) bride. I knew I wanted a videographer, but wasnt sure if we could afford it. I constantly logged into the knot and looked at the different videographers in the area and there was always that ONE videographers work that far outshined the others. That work was from Kroh Media. I met with Michael and Nathan who answered EVERY question I had about the videography process and they were more than willing to show 100's of sample videos that day just to show that their work is not only ABOVE and BEYOND the other videographers, but more importantly their work is CONSISTENT. The day of the wedding they blended in the background perfectly and had such great professionalism. They let the whole day flow perfectly and didnt miss ONE moment : ) We just got our preview video back and let me say, I can watch it thousands of times and never get sick of it. From the song they chose to edit the video to, to the moments they captured that I didnt get to see, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING from start to finish was MORE than I could have ever hoped for. If you are looking for a videographer that leaves your friends and family wishing they had hired this guy for their wedding (and even thinking about having a vow renewal just to hire this guy)...Look no further...KROH MEDIA IS AMAZING...Definitely the best thing I have ever invested my money into (this coming from a shopping addict!!!!). The team at Kroh Media was amazing! They were very quick to respond to all inquiries and put me at ease knowing that they would fully capture the day. I would have to say that they went above and beyond our expectations. They were with us all day and captured so many moments that we would have missed had we not had the video. Even our photographer was not able to capture the day nearly as well as the video team. Half of the time we didn't even know they were filming with makes the video so much better, since it is full of "real" moments. I have not had one person watch the preview who has not said... I can't wait to see the whole thing! Can't recommend Kroh Media enough!! Seriously the best decision of vendors that we made that day. We know we will replay those memories forever.

Michael Kroh was an unexpected blessing for our wedding. We found him while his business was still growing and now he is a very populal videographer in southern california. His videos are so personal and will make you cry they are so beautiful. Him and his assistant Nate were the first vendors who came in the morning of the wedding and they were one of the last to leave. They are extremely hard working and were there to capture the entire day, without charging extra money do go off site to film my husband with his groomsmen and then me with my bridesmaids. They were there for the entire wedding although their contract said they would be covering mostly the ceremony. I could not say enough about how amazing they were. Such easy going guys, great to talk to and could not be cooler. I would recommend them to anyone, they are worth way more than what they charge.
