with, and the day of she had tons of ideas of where best to shoot, while still listening to our preferences. She went above and beyond, spending longer than we initially had planned on the shoot, and sending us preview photos with a really short turnaround. She was very quick and responsive via email with answers to any questions and she gave us detailed, helpful responses. For the wedding itself, Neva was very involved in giving suggestions as to the day of timeline, providing detailed estimates of how long each type of shoot we were looking for would take, and working closely with us to make sure we could capture all of the moments we had hoped for. On the actual wedding day, Neva was phenomenal, helping guide us around to the different areas for our photos, and herding the large groups of family and friend around for their respective shoots. With expert advice on when to take each type of photo, we were able to capture the moments we wanted while still being present and enjoying the wedding itself. Again, Neva went above and beyond and stayed longer than she was supposed to, and getting us the sneak peaks within a few days so we could enjoy her amazing work. We couldn't be any more satisfied with Neva's work throughout the entire wedding process! A huge plus is that she's also such a friendly, caring person to be around who makes you feel comfortable. Her previous experience with event planning means she brings a bit of wedding planning to her photography services. She was able to help us plan out our wedding timeline, which was such a huge help. Plus she kept calm in the weeks ahead, which any bride will tell you are some of the most stressful.
And now to the photography. Neva's photos speak for themselves. Everyone will have a slightly different look that they are going for with their wedding, but Neva's style is exactly what I wanted from the photos. My only very minor (completely joking) complaint is that she shoots Cannon, and I am a Nikon fan. Neva is willing to do whatever she can to make your photos amazing. She makes you relax. She gives great tips about how to look better, and she directs her photos so that you look even better than you could imagine. She is hands down the photographer you need on your wedding day.
Neva is also one of the fastest photographers I have ever worked with. She always delivered her photos way ahead of schedule, and she even gave us a photo on our wedding day, which was quickly shared among all the guests.

On the wedding day, Neva was truly our hype-woman and made us feel SO comfortable in front of the camera. My husband and I are never great at taking pictures and she made us actually enjoy being in front of the camera! Neva was extremely organized and was able to get amazing pictures in a timely manner so that we were able to spend more time with our family and friends. I am still shocked with how quick Neva's turnaround was. She sent us a few pictures during the reception and several sneak peaks the following day. Within two weeks we had our full gallery!! Neva is the type of photographer that you can really tell that she loves what she does. It comes out in the photos and it’s also noticeably obvious during her shoots as well, because she radiates excitement and energy. If you’re the type of couple that wants to enjoy the wedding experience, then Neva is your photographer! She makes you feel like a star during your Engagement shoot and Wedding Day, and not only does this help you enjoy yourselves, but it also comes out in the photos because you’re ACTUALLY having a good time instead of just acting like it. That difference really comes through in the end result.
Neva’s second shooter was also great and had the same amazing vibe as Neva, in addition to being an awesome photographer in her own right as well! The second shooter is an incredible benefit to have to get pictures of the Groom getting ready with his party, in addition to being able to get multiple angles of your beautiful pictures.
Neva is also great after the wedding day itself. We were promised the full photo gallery no longer than 6 weeks after, but we received all of our photos only 2.5 weeks later. Neva also sent us some “Sneak Peaks” DURING the wedding. She went out of her way to edit some of her favorite photos of the First Look, Ceremony, etc while she was having dinner so that we could see them ASAP, which is frankly incredible and unbelievable that she would do something like that for us.
In summary, Neva is an incredible photographer who is efficient with her time, delivers an amazing product, is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and will be your biggest Hype Woman during your wedding. A++, 10/10, 5 Stars.

She was communicative and granted us such grace as we transitioned our large wedding to a more intimate "micro" affair (which often required switching dates, locations, and details on a dime). We got engaged in October 2019 and set a wedding date for June 2020....
Neva had photographed a previous wedding at the venue we decided on, and loved seeing the venue and the couple through her lens. We knew we wanted her to capture our special day as well.
From the very beginning of the process, Neva was easy to work with and made us feel at ease. When Covid-19 abruptly changed our plans, Neva was there to guide us through all of our options. We had to change dates, engagement shoot locations, and ultimately, how we envisioned our wedding. Every time we learned about a new Covid restriction or barrier, Neva not only communicated with us swiftly and offered recommendations or suggestions, but she did it in a friendly, supportive way that truly was above and beyond the typical vendor experience.
Despite the fact that we had to cancel our wedding, we still wanted to have wedding portraits done, and Neva was accommodating and on board with our decision. On the day our wedding photos rolled around, Neva was so much fun to spend the morning with. Having your wedding with no family or friends around to celebrate isn't easy - but Neva truly brought a great energy to our day and made us feel special throughout.
Both our engagement and wedding photos are gorgeous keepsakes that capture what fun, happy experiences they were. Neva turned around our photo albums promptly and kept us updated throughout her editing process - including a few sneak peek images.

made for my wedding. At an absolute freaking steal for videography, she was there from dusk to dawn capturing all the moments that we needed to remember our day at its best. She was THE FIRST PERSON to arrive out our venue, and came early to take detail shots of the venue being set, took videos of me getting ready, the boys getting ready, our dog arriving, the ceremony, the dancing, you name it she was THERE. In fact, if I wasn't 100% sure she doesn't have a sibling I would guess that she has 30 twins doing all the work she did. On top of that, she just understands lighting, framing, and mood. The video she sent us the morning after (literally less than 24 hours) as a sneak preview made me cry - 14 times. And my dad. And my mom. And my coworkers. So don't book her if you like to have boring videos, I guess.
That's enough about her artistic style. LET'S GET TO THE PERSONAL STUFF. I think Neva might be my new best friend. Because what we need in life is people with integrity and who go above and beyond. Neva was not my wedding planner, but she has a event management background and kept us on time for everything we did. And she even helped manage some small fires here and there that had NOTHING to do with videography! So beyond just being an amazing artistic talent, she's the vendor we all need.
