The Nevada Museum of Art offers a sophisticated setting with superb amenities and service for groups up to 500, suitable for wedding. The Fred W. Smith Penthouse includes the 4,800 square-foot Nightingale Sky Room and features a full scale banquet kitchen and retractable floor-to-ceiling glass walls that allow for the creation of an open air environment. The outdoor Stacie Mathewson Sky Plaza will complement the Sky Room with nearly 5,000 square feet of patio space. A soaring atrium with over 4,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, plentiful light combines to create a venue that is endlessly flexible and capable of graciously accommodating meetings, wedding receptions and elegant luncheons and dinners. The grand hall accommodates 200 people seated or as many as 350 people for stand-up receptions.

n their steel panel ceiling, and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that slide open for an indoor-outdoor feel to the Plaza. The view from the Plaza is the south-west foothills of Reno, and a bit of the city. The wedding packages include food catered by their in-house restaurant, chez louie, which the guests raved about. It also includes chair and table set-up and tear-down, and linens. We had the pleasure of working with Nisha Hallert as our point-person for the duration of planning and during the big day. She was organized, efficient, and professional.
