Getting married in a garden, I had not left a lot of room in the budget for flowers. However, Melanie and her team worked with me from start to finish to make sure I was able to have exactly what I wanted at a price point I was very happy with. Everything was absolutely beautiful and now being able to relive the wedding through our pictures and videos, I am so grateful we went them!

The flowers at my wedding were 100% my favorite part of the entire day. My wedding would have looked nowhere near as amazing as it did without the amazing arrangement, bouquets, and décor from New Creations. Lauren was the one that mainly did my wedding, and she was so personable, fun, and yet totally professional. Melanie did an amazing job with our wedding. I wanted big, moody, messy, flowers with a lot of greenery and she did a great job at bringing that to life. We used her flowers for my hair, the cake, the reception the ceremony, and everything. Multiple people told me that my hair and the reception reminded them of a fairy princess wooded wonderland which was such a great compliment to me haha. Our first meeting was quick because she was so prepared and she listened carefully and help us make decisions. She was great at receiving feedback and just did everything right! I couldn't be happier with the way our wedding turned out.

Melanie did a lovely job for our wedding. She nailed exactly what I wanted on rather short notice, and delivered really beautiful bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids as well as great centerpieces for our reception. I mentioned that I didn't want floral centerpieces and she had awesome suggestions for what to do instead, and the result (greenery, and candles in various heights of glass) was perfect to me and totally lovely. The bouquets when I saw them were above and beyond my expectations. I had expected something much smaller and she delivered a huge bridal bouquet and very well sized and lovely bridesmaids bouquets. Could not be happier with what she made for us and 5/5 for how lovely her work made our wedding look.

Melanie did the gorgeous florals for my 8/5/17 wedding at Foundations For The Carolinas and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. She was a pleasure to work with, was very knowledgeable and offered suggestions and visuals to help us pull everything together. Melanie at New Creations is a talent! I had a vision of hanging floral chandeliers for my wedding reception, which is no easy feat and she did a fabulous job. I had a modest budget for this type of feature, but Melanie worked with me to make it happen. We kept the diameter pretty large for impact but filled them with greenery so flowers were really the accents. They really made a statement in our Mint Museum Uptown venue and we heard a lot of positive chatter about them at the reception. One minor thing is that the hair flowers she provided weren't the right size or amount to create the hair style I'd sent an example photo of. It ended up being a challenge for my hair stylist. This is a small detail in the scope of all the florals she provided. All the personal flowers (bouquets, etc) were very well done. And to reiterate, the chandeliers were amazing! Melanie understood the look we wanted and delivered it beautifully!

Melanie was great to work with for our wedding! She was flexible to work with and I had absolute trust that she would make our day beautiful! We used New Creations for our centerpieces and people loved them - our guests even tried to take some home! Would highly recommend New Creations! (By the way, Melanie did all of this while she was well along into her pregnancy - hello Superwoman!!)

The d=style of the flowers was exactly what we were looking for and they handled all delivery and setup at the venue. New Creations was reasonable with budgeting, communicated easily, and even helped to solve a last minute emergency when we realized we needed an additional centerpiece. Melanie was easy to work with, and the flowers were BEAUTIFUL! I didn't have a lot of specifics in mind, but she was able to take my random ideas and inspiration and turn it into amazing arrangements and centerpieces within my budget. She's really creative and and truly an artist.

Melanie and New Creations Flower Company are amazing. My daughter's wedding in Savannah was cancelled because of Hurricane Matthew. We evacuated to Charlotte, where my daughter and son-in-law decided they still wanted to get married that weekend. In under 48 hours, Melanie spoke with me, reviewed the order for flowers we had hoped to have, acquired the necessary flowers, made adjustments as needed, and provided the most beautiful bouquets and wedding party flowers. She also made a trip to the restaurant where the reception was to be to pick up vases to use, and to check out the table arrangements. We couldn't have been happier when we entered the reception room. The ambiance of the room was lovely, and the candles and flowers were perfect. The flowers exceeded anything I could have dreamed of for my daughter's wedding. I highly recommend Melanie and her company.

Melissa at New Creations did a beautiful job on my floral arrangements for my wedding! I was on a strict budget (like most brides) and she was able to work within my budget t0 create the exact look I wanted. I had so many guests comment on how stunning all of my floral arrangements were. Melissa needed very little direction and completely understood my vision. I would recommend her time and time again! She truly blew me away!

When I first met with Melanie everything seemed cool and I got good vibes from her. As time went on, she was really hard to get into contact with. Although she apologized along the way, it was still an inconvenience at times. Looking back now though, she did not touch bases with me at all leading up to my wedding to go over anything that we discussed. The day of my wedding she did not take the time to come and greet me and I wouldn't have even know she was the florist if my mom didn't explain to me how Melanie was rude to her. She also did not explain any upkeep for the flowers throughout the day. She just left the flowers in vases in our bridal suite and left the boutonnieres in these plastic containers. I had majority white bouquets and unfortunately some of my bridesmaid bouquets didn't last that long. Luckily they lasted long enough for pictures, but it makes me think the flowers were not that fresh. My bridesmaids bouquets weren't that impressive in my opinion and not what I wanted and looked like she just picked up flowers and tied them together. The flowers did not blend that well together and it didn't seem like a lot of thought and care went into creating them. They also were not uniform and some had really big flowers and some had really small flowers. One plus is that I did love my bouquet so I was happy about that. I also had a flower aisle done by her which I expected to turn out differently from the pictures that I sent to her. The day of my wedding I was accepting of how everything turned out and came together as a whole, but actually critiquing things individually gives me a different impression. Although the flowers were not that great, I was impressed with our centerpieces. They were really pretty and blended well with our venue. In the end I feel like I paid way too much money for my expectations not to be met. I wish she communicated better with me and for anyone wanting to work with her I would make sure you're as specific as you can be with what you want. I thought I was but I guess not. Pictures are not enough. She does offer you the option to order a "mock bouquet" of what you would get. I didn't think that would be necessary and I did not want to spend any more money, but I would recommend doing that so that you can see exactly what you will be getting. Thankfully my wedding was still really beautiful and I enjoyed my day.

Mel was fantastic!! My budget was tight when it came to a florist and I had planned to try to make my own centerpieces because I could not afford large flower arrangements. I met with Mel and she had all of these ideas for centerpieces with pink flowers and white candles that fit in my budget. The tables looked amazing and I even teared up when I entered my own reception because it was so beautiful. She saved the day. I loved my bouquet as well as it was the perfect pop of color with my navy and white wedding.

Melanie was wonderful to work with! She listened to what I wanted, even if my description was vague, and went above and beyond my expectations. Very respectful of our budget and came up with great ideas. All of the flowers were absolutely gorgeous and we received many complements on them. Can not recommend New Creations enough!

My wedding was in May 2015 at the Mint Museum Uptown in Charlotte, NC. I was referred to New Flower Creations by the one-and-only Ashley Cash of The Graceful Host (see my review on her for celebrity-style planning!). Without question, the flowers were the easiest and most effortless part of the decorative process. I only had to meet Melanie just one time, for one hour, to know that my wedding design for flowers was in expert and incredibly talented hands. Honestly, you just sit back and let Melanie work her magic and when you see the result, you are blown away. It surpassed anything I could have ever dreamed of (and I dreamed big!). Just elegant, tasteful, and full of vibrant color. To this day, months after the wedding, I still get compliments on the flower arrangements: the color, the style, the artistry.....it was unbelievably gorgeous. No question: New Creations is the florist artists to add that something extraordinary to your dream wedding.

I loved every single flower arrangement throughout the wedding. From the initial meeting, I knew that I would adore my flowers. Everyone made me feel completely at home and comfortable. Melanie was amazing. Organizing all of the flowers over-the-phone and via email, she was able to magnificently pull off the most gorgeous flower arrangements I have ever seen. She was amazingly accommodating of our last-minute request to have the flowers delivered, and personally arrived to set everything up. She is apparently a maverick that as well, because she arrived and was gone almost unnoticeably. Our expectations were greatly exceeded, and our color-scheme was expertly complimented in every detail of the bouquets, table flowers and mantle piece. My husband and I cannot recommend Melanie and New Creations Flower Company enough for being one of the most stress-free, and day-making aspects of our wedding.

The flowers arrived over an hour late to venue causing delays in photographs (and stress I hoped I wouldn't have to deal with) and when they did arrive, they were pretty but not at all what I wanted. Very disappointed. Working together prior to the wedding was difficult too - responses to emails would take days or weeks. I figured everyone's busy but looking back, I realize there wasn't much care given and then the flowers arriving late and wrong just proved that.

I could not have been more blown away by the flowers that rest on the tables and bouquets in their vases when I walked into our wedding venue 10-11-14! Melanie made gorgeous arrangements that matched our dark purple color pallette perfectly. We received so many compliments on the flowers the day of and the compliments keep coming as we share our wedding photos. What I most appreciate is Melanie working with us to stay as close to budget as possible. I know flowers can become very pricey, but when we met Melanie would only review options that would be feasible and give us the best possible options for our very large bridal party ( a total of 22 people) I loved our flowers and Melanie was awesome to work with....she knows her stuff!

Kate and Mel were amazing and thought outside of the box for my wedding. I thought I just wanted white hydrangea and lemon leaf runners, but they were able to envision something much grander! Kate kept sending me pictures of arrangements with color and soon I couldn't believe I had just wanted basically white! She, also, talked about making the poles in my tent trees and having hanging arrangements. Needless to say the final result was ABSOLUTELY stunning. When I walked into the tent it was like walking into a fairytale. Honestly, it was the kind of thing you see in magazines, but never expect it to be a reality for you. People were buzzing about the flowers. The FLOWERS were bright, beautiful, and literally took my breath away. To this day I look at pictures and I'm still AMAZED at what they created!! I had expected beautiful flowers, and they were exceptionally stunning. The presentation was what turned the wedding tent into a wonderland that dazzled every individual as they entered. When I first met Melanie I had no idea what I wanted in terms of flowers at my wedding. She was very patient with me and helped show me a variety of different options. I had requested that we do all things "different" and "unique" to Charlotte, NC and she did more than that. All of our guests and myself included were completely WOWED at the floral arrangements!! I'm a bride that LOVES flowers so I was very selective when I was looking for a florist for our wedding. Kate and her team went above and BEYOND any and all expectations I ever had! We really relied on our venue and flowers for the decor/theme of our wedding and Kate and her team were able to bring my dream vision into a reality. We hired Melanie at New Creations to do our wedding bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages. Everything looked wonderful! I absolutely loved my bouquet!! The bridesmaids' bouquets also looked amazing and the ribbon Melanie added to match the girls' shoes (each had a different color) was the perfect extra touch. Melanie was so easy to work with and just did a fantastic job with our flowers.

Melanie is wonderful! I don't know much about flowers beyond what I think is pretty or smells nice. Melanie did a great job of taking a vision and running with it. I wanted floral arrangements that varied across the tables, and she did just that. When, a month before the wedding, we learned that we needed extra tables, Melanie had a new arrangement designed almost immediately. It was also great having her as my go to for other decor including candle holders and lamp shades. She even sought out the perfect fabric to execute my vision. She took so much worry away, especially considering that I have very little knowledge about flowers.

Since you never see the final result until the day of the weeding, one might be a little concerned what the flowers would really look like. They turn out more beautiful than I imagined! Even with a wedding in January and flowers being slightly scarce (especially in blue), everything exceeded my expectations.

Melanie is actually a good friend of mine. I had already seen her work at other weddings and knew with out question she had to do mine! I already knew that she goes the extra mile and truly is happiest when she knows her brides are happy. Meeting with her to go over what I wanted was seriously one of my favorite wedding experiences! My MOH and I had such a great time! I only knew of 1 flower I for sure wanted had a color scheme in mind, and just a couple of other ideas. I trusted Melanie to figure out the rest, I knew whatever she put together would be so much better than I could think of and it was! She knew my budget and was able to let me know what would work within my means. My guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were, it truly made my wedding so elegant and beautiful! I can't recommend Melanie enough, not just because she's my friend, but because she helped make my wedding perfect :)

Melanie was a delight to work with! Her home office is a beautiful representation of her work. I fell in love with a bouquet accented with succulents on her website but had concerns with the flowers in it due to my chronic migraines. Melanie was able to adapt it to a fragrance-free version that was just as beautiful as the original. Her taste is exquisite, her service impeccable, and I could not have been more pleased!!!

Melanie is spectacular - she is seasoned in the event planning/decorating field and during our meetings she used many photos and hands on visuals to ensure that she understood what I was envisioning. I had a purple and silver wedding. I told Melanie to make me a purple bouquet I was not very picky about flowers and I gave her a price point I wanted to stay under. She delivered BEAUTIFUL bouquets!!! I absolutely loved them!! I highly recommend new creations flower co!!

New Creations Flower Company did flowers for my June 2012 wedding. From the very first interaction to the day of the wedding, everything was personal and thoughtful. The flowers that were originally picked were unable to be a part of the bouquets due to an early flowering season, so New Creations "upgraded" the flowers without a price increase in order to make everything perfect for my wedding.
