Facilities and Capacity
The New England Air Museum has three heated and air-conditioned hangers, two mezzanines, two meeting rooms and an outdoor display area.
Military Hangar- Our largest hangar, featuring military aircraft. This hangar is most often used for dinner and dancing and can seat 200 people comfortably, with plenty of space for dancing.
Civilian Hangar- This hangar is most often used for cocktail hour, with a spacious mezzanine that looks over the entire hangar. This hangar is dedicated to unique, civilian aircraft.
B-29 Hangar- Make a statement with our B-29 Superfortress as an impressive backdrop for your ceremony. Guests can either sit alongside you as you say your vows, or can watch from our second mezzanine.
Bridal Suite- Our meeting rooms can be transformed into a bridal suite to get ready in, or as a private room for your bridal party to retreat to.

Our wedding at the New England Air Museum was nothing short of a dream come true! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely incredible. I honestly wish we could relive that magical day every single weekend – that's how amazing it was!
Planning was a breeze, thanks to our phenomenal Event Planner, Michelle. She took care of every little detail, making the whole process feel effortless. Michelle's expertise and dedication were evident in every aspect of our wedding, and we couldn't have done it without her. She made our special day beyond special!!
The venue itself is truly one-of-a-kind. If you want a wedding that's cool, unique, and will have your guests talking for years, this is the place. The backdrop of historic aircrafts made for stunning photos and an unforgettable atmosphere. It has been a month since the wedding and I still have people messaging me about how unbelievable the venue was and how amazing the food was as well!!
I can't recommend the New England Air Museum enough for anyone looking to have the most extraordinary and memorable wedding. Trust me, you won't find a more unique or perfect setting for your special day!

We had the PERFECT wedding at the Newington England Air Museum!! I seriously could not recommend this venue or their coordinator Michelle more. If you are looking for a memorable + different wedding venue that your guests will RAVE about - look no further! We aren’t military or plane enthusiasts (although maybe we are now!) but you don’t have to be to get married here. From our initial tour, we knew we found our venue! We got the entire museum - so being able to have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception in 3 different hangars was incredible. We used the museums recommended lighting and caterers - CJC and Latitude and were so impressed. The uplighting was so beautiful and our guests continue to rave about how good the food was. Michelle was the absolute best to work with throughout the entire process. She was always available and organized and really cared so much that we were taken care of at all times and happy. Truly the best wedding day ever and I wish I could relive it over and over again! I would recommend NEAM to any couple - you will not be disappointed.

We got married at the NEAM in early October, and we had an amazing experience. The venue is so unique, and our guests were really blown away by the entire evening. My husband and I are still glowing with excitement, and we have gotten so many compliments on the wedding. The evening wouldn’t have been a success if it wasn’t for Michelle, Tianna, and the team at the museum. For anyone considering the NEAM, make sure you use Michelle as your day of planner because her attention to detail in the lead up to the wedding will leave you feeling at ease in what could be a very stressful time. We would also highly encourage using people on their list of recommended vendors because they have been vetted and know the team at the venue. The entire planning process was made so easy with the NEAM team, and we wouldn’t have done anything differently.
If you’re in conversations about table layouts, trust Michelle on the mix of table shapes and seat numbers, she has a precise eye for what makes for the best experience for your guests. Everyone at NEAM does an excellent job and you cannot go wrong choosing this place to say your I Do’s.

If you want a unique venue where you and your guests will remember as epic, this is it! My husband is a huge plane enthusiast so when I came across NEAM on here I immediately gave him the idea. Our day was flawless all thanks to Michelle. She was absolutely amazing with planning our wedding. We checked in together throughout the year of planning, as it got closer we were in contact everytime I had a question or concern which wasn't many because she went over EVERYTHING to make the planning process much easier.
The volunteers at our wedding was a huge bonus for our guests to talk and educate them.
Saying our vows under the B29 was something we will never forget. Every person at our wedding told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to.

I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this venue for weddings and other events.
We were told multiple times throughout the night and the following days that this was the wedding to compare all other weddings to.
Michelle and her team went above and beyond from the start. The ceremony was arranged beautifully. The cocktail hour was so much fun, as everyone got to start looking at the aircraft and speaking to the incredibly knowledgeable volunteers. The main hanger and reception looked stunning.
I highly recommend using the vendors Michelle suggests. They did a wonderful job. The planning was so easy, since they all knew exactly what they were doing and had just as much passion about the venue as Michelle and the volunteers.
We had a great dance floor, we had an entire museum to explore, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The only complaint I got was there was not enough time to see everything at the museum, and everyone is excited to visit again to see what they missed! The kids also had a lot of fun, and some may even be going to the summer children's program after their experience talking to the volunteers.
I absolutely recommend the New England Air Museum for your wedding venue. We could not have dreamed of a better wedding if we tried!

If you are looking for a non-traditional, definitely not run of the mill wedding venue you HAVE GOT to check out New England Air Museum (NEAM). I attend a ball every year for an organization I volunteer with. The ball is always fun and the food is always good, but it's at one of those "wedding factories" where it's always the same dance floor, same photo booth, same salmon regardless of which one you're at. When it came to wedding planning my biggest thing was to be someplace that wasn't the standard. I dragged my then fiance for tours one Saturday. We met with Michelle, the special events coordinator at NEAM. An absolute professional, from the moment we started the tour she made the entire process feel so easy. She is laid back but informative, has great suggestions (when she suggests getting the extra hour - DO IT! it is my one regret about our wedding day that I didn't take her advice on that one...the day just goes by too fast), is incredibly easy to work with and more than happy to do an extra walk through and talk things out for an anxious bride. Simply put, she's amazing! She was never pushy, but then again once you see it you'll understand she doesn't have to be. Whether you're a history buff, an aviation enthusiast, a video game junkie like my husband (there's flight simulators ladies and gentlemen), or just looking for something unique NEAM will be the ideal place for you to get wed. It's massive but feels intimate at the same time, there's so much for you and your guests to look at and experience (because yes, you get to get in some of the planes), and during your wedding you get to have some of the museum volunteers there to share their knowledge and enthusiasm, tell you the best spots to snag an awesome picture, or just guide you through parts of the different exhibit. You can make your reception entrance from inside an antique plane and dance the night away under 2 different airplane wings. All made possible with the help of an incredible staff and volunteers. You won't regret it, and if your guests are like mine, it will be "the coolest wedding" they've ever been to.

The New England Air Museum is extraordinary in every way! Our guests have not stopped talking about how fun and unique our wedding venue was. What other venue gives you life-sized aircraft to dine and dance among?! Our pictures show our guests literally with their jaws dropped as they walked into the main hangar of the museum for dinner. They spent the rest of the night posing for pictures inside the aircraft. And the staff. The staff, especially Michelle, is absolute perfection! Michelle was so kind and incredibly attentive making sure every dream of ours came true. The night of the event, museum docents are on hand to talk to your guests about the history of the aircraft, our guests loved that as they were climbing in and out of the planes. The docents helped to create an immersive experience. And to top it off, our wedding pictures are so unique. I promise you will have a wedding like no other at the New England Air Museum.

Looking for an incredible crowd pleasing venue? Look no further! Michelle was an absolute joy to work with through out the process. She provided the perfect amount of guidance while letting us convey our vision. The vendors she recommended were great to work with and the over all planning process was made simple. The day of was better than we could have dreamed and everyone at the Museum educated our guests, shared their passion, and made it so very special. You don't have to be an aviation nerd to have a blast at this interactive and history filled venue.

NEAM was an amazing venue for our wedding. We went there several times during the planning phases and every time it still took our breath away walking in to the incredible planes and other exhibits. The event coordinator Michelle was incredibly knowledgeable; she answered all our questions (we had lots!) and had several suggestions that we implemented & helped make our day super-memorable. Our guests loved experiencing the museum, taking pictures with the exhibits, using the flight simulators, & talking to the museum volunteers who were enthusiastic about sharing their experiences flying and details about the planes. Best of all, there was so much for our guests to do, that we actually got some time to enjoy ourselves, instead of just having that blur of talking to guests that so many people say is all they remember from their wedding :) We would absolutely recommend NEAM for a wedding, and we plan to come back just as visitors!

My husband and I are both aerospace engineers, so when we realized that the New England Air Museum could be rented for weddings, it was a pretty easy decision for us to make. The museum itself is amazing, and a totally unique backdrop for a wedding reception. The planes make for incredible pictures and reflections, and the huge space can accommodate a large group without feeling crowded. We were lucky enough to book the museum shortly after they hired a new event coordinator, who is amazing and was willing to work with us on every little detail from hangar lighting to table placement to having the flight simulator running for our guests ( SO AWESOME!). Michelle is incredible and responsive and so kind; she was so easy to work with and really made the venue exactly what we wanted for the day. And the volunteers: the volunteers at the air museum are amazing on any given day, but when they saw that we had a crowd full of engineers and plane nerds, they went above and beyond to make the experience incredible for everyone. They gave guests background and stories on the planes, they opened cockpits so people could take pictures, and they gave advice to people trying out the simulator. They really helped the museum shine and we are so grateful that they gave up their Saturday nights to make our wedding amazing! Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend the air museum as a wedding venue to anyone, but especially to those looking for something a little out of the box and extremely memorable!

We celebrated Sangeet ceremony for our Son’s wedding on July 1st at the New England Air Museum & I must say that it was the coolest experience for all who attended & we are still receiving compliments a few months later!! The venue counted for a unique experience & with the background lights & decorations it was amazing. We had close to 400 guests.
Michelle Salmone is an excellent event director , very responsive & she guided us every step of the way with her professional advice . We had quite a few outside the box requests given the dynamics of the celebrations to which, her & her team were accommodating. The museum staff provided great service & the guests had a fabulous time enjoying the exhibits along with other celebrations.
The set up was exactly the way we wanted it to be & Michelle made possible the most challenging part of being able to serve buffet style Indian street food with a combination of live counters with no formal seating arrangements for 400 people !! that seemed challenging during the planning process.
All in all we are glad to have chosen NEAM as it totally offered an experience that our family will cherish as a lifetime memory !

My husband and I got married here May 5th 2023, and it was the best and absolute coolest venue ever! Our guests raved about how much fun they had and told us it was the best wedding ever (they’re not wrong). The venue is so unique and allowed guests to explore the museum and go in several of the planes, as well as use the flight simulators. We were able to utilize the whole museum for our wedding, from the ceremony in the B-29 hangar, cocktail hour in civil hangar, and our reception in the military hangar. Michelle and the staff were more than accommodating and allowed us to utilize the storage hangar to get our first look in front of the F-14. Which brings me to my next point, aside from the incredible venue, Michelle is AMAZING. Hands down best coordinator ever, she worked with us closely to make sure everything was as easy as possible leading up to the wedding. From the rehearsal to the day of, Michelle made sure everything was exactly how we wanted and made every attempt to make our big day stress free and perfect. Honestly, 25/10 would recommend.
We would also highly recommend hiring CJC Event Lighting as he completely transformed the reception area, the lighting makes all the difference. If you’re looking for the coolest, most unique wedding venue, look no further.

My husband and I got married here in June of 2022. I honestly cannot say enough nice things about this venue and their staff. The venue itself is so large and truly unique. Our guests were able to explore the museum during cocktail hour, and our guests continue to tell us we had the "coolest wedding ever". The Event Coordinator, Michelle, was a pleasure to work with. Not only was she extremely helpful with the organization and flow of our day, but she was also helpful in the coordination with other venues. She was a pleasure to work with and made the process much easier than I expected. The day of, Michelle worked to make sure the day went as smooth as possible which helped us to be relaxed and enjoy the day without worrying about the small details. Looking back, we would not change a single thing about our wedding. This place by far exceeded our expectations!!!

The fact that we are the first review for this venue blows our mind. With three different hangers; one for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, there was always something around the next corner.
Our guest can’t stop talking about how much fun the venue was. The museum had volunteers to help explain to guests what they were looking at as well as let them into planes and cockpits. It lead to great photos! Our vendors also commented post wedding about how awesome the museum was.
Michelle was extremely responsive, friendly and easy to work with. She gave us great suggestions on how to best use their various spaces as well as vendors local to the area.
The uniqueness of the museum made it an unforgettable night!
