We hired Dave for our wedding this past September and so so happy we did! Our wedding video came out incredible and he captured our day perfectly. I've had so many people rave to me about our wedding video and how unique it is. Could not recommend Dave/NEVF enough!!
Dave was our wedding videographer when we got married in June, 2016. From our first video chat, he was extremely knowledgeable about both his business, services and was completely flexible throughout the entire process. He answered any and all questions we had and went above our expectations. We didn't want a standard boring wedding video decided to have it shot in Super 8. He was easy to work with and offered us a range of services based around our budget. We were (and still are!!) completely thrilled with the quality of his work and all of the time, effort and care he put into making it perfect. He let us choose the music and didn't stop working with us until everything was right. I also appreciate that he doesn't mass produce wedding videos - each one seems to fit the couple and their style, which truly makes him stand out from other vendors. Don't hesitate to hire him!
Honestly can't recommend NEVF highly enough. David is a blast to work with and we are very happy with the delivered product.
I had seen a wedding filmed in the old “home movie” format years ago & had thought that if I were to marry one day, I would love to have it filmed that way…until I became engaged & began researching it & found that vintage 8mm film was quite expensive. Then I found Dave, and New England Vintage Films. Dave was great to work with! He met with us and listened to our ideas about our wedding day, he patiently explained everything we wanted to know about this unique format and made adjustments to create a package that suited our desires and more importantly, our budget! He was able to do this while still providing us with the ability to have the treasured moments of our special day captured in such a beautiful and artistic way.
The day of our wedding, Dave was very professional. He even stepped up, offering to help us capture the “first look” we had been planning with our photographers, when they were unfortunately delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, he saved the day! He really went above and beyond for us and we truly appreciated it. We are so happy to have our most special memories of our wedding day preserved this way and were overjoyed with the final product! We would definitely recommend David Cunningham and Vintage Films.

I have to admit that I was not thrilled with the idea of having a videographer shooting in Super 8. In the planning phases of our wedding, it just seemed like another financial hit that could be avoided. Not only was I wrong, but for around $2,000, I can not imagine being without the footage we have now.
First off, David is solid gold. He is a great person, and loves what he does. During the event, you couldn't tell he was there. The moments he caught were wonderful because some of them we missed during our wedding, and a lot we love to watch over and over. There is definitely a tangible beauty to the format he shoots in. Not only does he have a great eye for what is important to his clients, but he did a wonderful job putting the final video together. To say we were pleased is an understatement.
I have a love for the Evil Dead films, which came up during one of our meetings with David. He mimicked the "crash cam" from those films by holding his camera above his car as he drove into the wedding venue! It was amazing to see the amount of care and detail he puts into his work.
We were so immensly happy with the end product, that David is now working to consolidate, and preserve years of home shot Super 8 footage from my lovely bride's childhood. He was more than helpful in lending us a viewer so that Rebecca (my bride) could go through reel after reel to get a chronological order of her family's early birthday parties, holidays, and summer fun moments. A lot of the footage was shot by her father, and documents the three girls growing up, and also some pretty amazing shots of costumes her mother made for the girls back in the day. I could go on about all the cool content, but in the end we know that we have the best in the business handling one of the most important things on the planet.........love, and memories.
Thanks David!!!!!
