The BOT was absolutely gorgeous and the perfect place to have our wedding! The spaces are stunning. I included pictures of the courtyard (our ceremony space), the inside (reception...
space) and the stunning room they have upstairs for the wedding party. The staff, food, and drinks were all incredible! It was beyond perfect!

Let me start this out by saying this is not a review of Pigeon Catering, whom manage and cater The Board of Trade. They are absolutely amazing!! I am writing this review to inform ...
future brides of the greedy business men who own the building. My fiancé and I were due to have our reception here at the end of May 2023. We were informed a couple of days ago that the building will start a major renovation starting May 1st. This comes after Pigeon catering begged them to let them finish out their currently bookings, which was unsuccessful. We are devastated to say the least, and struggling to find another venue that compares to the charm, history, and grandeur, that is The Board of Trade. So if you're planning on getting married after May in 2023 through 2024 look elsewhere, but check out Pigeon catering!! It's been an absolute pleasure working with them, especially considering the circumstances.
Fantastic venue! We got married in May 2021 and had to move our wedding 6 weeks before the wedding due to Covid restrictions. We moved it to the Board of Trade and they were wonder...
ful to work with! Lauren is great and the food is AMAZING! it has a beautiful indoor space as well as an outdoor courtyard with a fountain. something for everyone! highly recommend!
My daughter’s wedding reception was held at the Board of Trade and was catered by Pigeon Caterers. Lauren with Pigeon could not have been more helpful - from our delicious tasting,...
to helping with the floor plan, to the day of managing the staff and food prep to perfection. We received so many compliments on the food and venue the whole evening that I could not even count. The venue is stunning and perfect for pictures as well as a large gathering. Lauren's team at the Board of Trade additionally provided attendants to the bride and groom, as well as the parents of the bride and groom, who made sure that we always had a drink or whatever else that we needed. Thanks Lauren for making her reception an evening to remember!

vent. We have gotten so many messages about how great the food was from Pigeons catering. We chose the all night oyster bar which was a huge hit, appetizers were passed around during cocktail time, carving station with two meats, mashed potato bar, turtle soup, salad, dips, grilled veggies, etc. Everything was delicious! We had about 400 guests and never felt crowded (except for the dance floor that stayed packed all night). The weather was cool but not cold for December, so we definitely utilized the courtyard for guests. Board of Trade was so easy to work with and helped us in many areas. Lauren is very organized and made sure my daughter's reception was a magical night. We did bring in some outside decorating, but the staff worked so well with all of our vendors and everything fell into place without a worry in the world.
My guests loved the Board of Trade. We knew we wanted a historic venue, close to the quarter, and easily accessible for our out of town guests. Board of Trade was perfect. Our gues...
ts could walk easily from their hotels to the venue, the church, and the quarter. The entire process was so easy- they were especially helpful in securing an ADA accessible ramp, selecting food choices, modifying food choices, and last minute additions (Go with the oyster bar! It was a hit). They gave me and my groom an attendant who kept our drinks full, our guests happy, and handed out the extra goodies. I can't thank Lauren and her team enough!
This place is gorgeous! We had both the ceremony and reception here. We love the atmosphere, the New Orleans feel, and just the over experience. The staff was very welcoming and he...
lpful as well!
The New Orleans Board of Trade was a prefect venue for us. It was in walking distance from our Church (we secondlined) and the court yard was the perfect addition so that the room ...
never felt over crowded. Pigeon's catering went above and beyond for us and Lauren was a huge help in getting everything we wanted. We had an oyster bar set up outside for guests to enjoy . They loved it so much that we went through 3 sacks of oysters in the first 30 mins. We can't say enough great things about this vendor and how great everything turned out. It was beyond our expectations and so very perfect!
The New Orleans Board of Trade is so beautiful! It's classy, doesn't need an insane amount of decorating, and so many guests commented on how perfect it was. My husband and I had o...
ur wedding there a couple weeks ago (May 2018) and we held the ceremony in the courtyard and held the reception indoors in the ballroom. The courtyard was great for the ceremony in the evening after the sun was behind the buildings and transformed to the perfect candle-lit space at night during the reception, not to mention people loved that there was a bar inside AND outside. Luckily the weather was good for an outdoor wedding ceremony but there was a backup plan in place just in case! I was worried that there would a lot of street noise to have a ceremony in the courtyard, but that also worked out great and honestly, I didn't even notice people walking by or taking pictures from the street. We worked with Ashley and Leah and they were so wonderful and helped us throughout the whole process and answered my many questions!
One thing to keep in mind is the BOT is not handicapped accessible so that is an extra cost if you will need to rent ramps for your guests. We rented one for between the courtyard and ballroom and actually used it to walk down during the processional - it was very useful!
There are not enough words I can say about this beautiful venue. My wedding here was simply BREATHTAKING! From beginning to end, the entire process was easy and enjoyable. From the...
courtyard to the inside, it really is the best of both worlds! Luckily, the NOLA weather cooperated so the courtyard was even more of a hit! We received so many compliments on the venue and how "different" it was. I would recommend this venue over & over!
The Board of Trade was the perfect venue for my wedding of 183 guests. The location and the access to a beautiful courtyard and indoor space were perfect. They were so attentive ...
and easy to work with. The catering manager left a week before our wedding and they went above and beyond to make sure we were good to go and everything was in place for the big day. Laura, the bridal attendant that they assigned, was amazing! Made sure I had what I needed the whole time. This venue should be on everyone’s list when looking for a wedding location in Nola!!
This venue was an absolute dream to have our wedding at! Antoinette was extremely hands on and helpful throughout the whole planning process! The entire staff went above and beyond...
to seamlessly work behind the scenes in a professional manner! Can we talk about the food?! AMAZING - their caterers, Pigeon Catering are phenomenal! Absolutely the best and most bang for your buck in NOLA!

ad as little stress as possible. The venue turned out beautifully, the staff was kind and friendly, and the food was delicious!!! My guests all said it was such a beautiful space with so much character and personality!!! I would highly recommend!!!
My wedding at the BOT was an absolute dream. The venue, the food (by Pigeon Caterers), the staff (Lea & Laura) were something out of a fairy tale.

ion wedding for 210 guests from all over the country. I had seen the BOT years ago set up for a wedding and remembered the stunning fountain in the courtyard. It didn't take much for us to say "that's the place" without even taking a visit down to see it in person.
From the moment guests walked in they were in awe. Every detail was perfection..
Lea was fantastic to work with. She helped us nail down the catering, lighting package, and logistics and was so sweet the whole time. Laura, the bridal attendant, was 5 STARS OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING. My husband, my mom and I couldn't stop raving about how amazing our night was because Laura was there by our side to refill our drinks, make sure we ate (we had a private table for 2 setup with a full shmorgasboard of food after the ceremony in order to make sure we got the chance to eat), changing outfits & shoes, finding us for pictures, helping pick up my dress, etc. etc. SHE WAS WONDERFUL!
Overall this place is the perfect venue for brides looking to get married outside while having a big grand reception indoors (vs. spending crazy money on tenting).
I could say a million more nice things. But really it was spectacular and I couldn't recommend it more to future brides.
There were five main things we wanted from our venue: 1) a courtyard space onsite for the ceremony; 2) a ballroom space large enough for 150 guests seated; 3) a location close to t...
he downtown hotels and French Quarter; 4) historic charm and beauty and 5) a unique space. The BOT met all these requirements and then some. Leah was phenomenal throughout the planning process. She is so accommodating, upbeat, and truly a pleasure to work with. Also, with her years of wedding experience, she knows what works best and had a ton of cute ideas and recommendations that we definitely used (for example, she suggested having the BOT staff pass out personalized plastic go-cups with a drink of our choice to all our guests as they left the ceremony for the second line- which was a huge hit and got the party started). My bridal attendant could not have been more attentive or kinder to me throughout the wedding. At the cocktail hour and reception, everyone always had a full drink. The food was AMAZING - the BOT staff packed a picnic for our honeymoon suite and everything was delicious! The venue photographed beautifully. We truly could not have been happier with our choice of using the BOT.
The venue was gorgeous and perfect. We had our ceremony in the courtyard and the reception afterwards in the ballroom inside. Courtyard is gorgeous with fountain and perfect for c...
eremony and can be transformed into outdoor bar and tables during the reception. The ballroom is classic- just what I would envision for an old South ballroom. Luckily we had great weather but even if you are paranoid about gulf shore downpours (as I was) the ceremony can easily be moved underneath the covered entrance or indoors. Good location (just a few blocks from Canal and the quarter). Leah, our BOT coordinator was outstanding. SHe was always readily available for questions and is very organized. Everything went off without a hitch as far as the venue. Pigeon caterers (the catering company assoc with BOT) was phenomenal. We are from NOLA and even our picky Cajun relatives loved the food. I would highly recommend it.
My wedding was at the Board of Trade in December 2013. The venue is absolutely gorgeous - from the fountain in the courtyard to the rotunda in the main hall. We never did a tasting...
because it was a destination wedding but we were blown away by each food item. The staff is also very friendly and fairly attentive. It is a pricey venue but the location is perfect for a downtown wedding, holds hundreds of guests, and it is nice for both a ceremony and reception. Unfortunately right before our ceremony it started to rain so the venue had to re set-up all the chairs under the arcade which stalled our ceremony start time by a good 30-45 minutes. It did become very chaotic at that point and communication/logistics on the venue's part could have been better. Overall I was very happy with our choice in ceremony/reception location.
Board of Trade is a special venue with tons of New Orleans character and in a great central location. Leah and her staff were a joy to work with and took care of everything. The we...
dding night went off without a hitch and that is in large part to their team of professionals!
Board of Trade is a beautiful place for a wedding and reception. The outdoor courtyard is lovely in the Spring when everything is in bloom, so you need minimal decor. The inside ...
is a blank canvas. Our colors, pink and blue, really popped, and look great in the photos. Pigeon Caterers does the catering, and we received a lot of compliments on how great the food was. Staff was courteous and professional, and we had an attendant who kept our drinks filled all evening. Overall, a great place for a wedding!
What a beautiful venue!!! We loved everything about this place!!

nd always quick in responding to my questions. The bridal attendant on our wedding day was awesome! she let me do my thing but always seemed to magically appear the moment I needed something. Everything went perfectly and I couldn't be happier with my choice!
Great history and architecture, just be prepared for a high venue rental fee. Going through Pigeon catering was great though, wonderful group with excellent food!
I got married here earlier this year and they were amazing! Everyone was very helpful and our wedding ended up perfect. The food was amazing also!!!!

ved at the ceremony, everything was amazing! We had a server who took care of us the whole night. I never had an empty glass! They fed us while the guests arrived, so we could make sure we got a bite to eat. Leah handled everything with the other vendors, so we really had nothing to worry about the day of the wedding. I would definitely recommend this location!
