That said, we did experience some frustrating communication issues leading up to the event. We had agreed on a 30-minute early arrival for setup, but 10 days before our wedding learned that one of our musicians was finishing another gig just 15 minutes before our cocktail hour start time, leaving very little time to travel and set up. We ended up having to pay an additional fee to ensure we'd have someone there on time, which felt like an avoidable situation... Also, a third musician (a guitarist) showed up on the day of the wedding without any advance notice. This turned out to be a lovely addition but also meant the venue wasn't prepared with proper seating for all three, which created an awkward situation that had to be sorted just before our ceremony started.
The talent is clearly there, and we don't regret hiring them. I'd just encourage future couples to confirm all logistics in writing and close to the date to avoid any last-minute surprises.

Since our wedding was small and intimate, we settled on a cello & violin duo for our ceremony and a guitar, stand up bass and violin trio for our reception as live music was important to us. Both groups did such a beautiful job and we were even able to commission some more obscure songs to be played, which turned out so lovely! They even switched things up at the last minute when a few family members had to leave early and our first dances needed to start early. I really appreciated their flexibility. The music really pulled everything together and I could not recommend Harry and his team of musicians more. They did an amazing job and made our day so special.

They have a HUGE and amazing selection on songs to choose from that it made so easy for us to put together a list. I had a specific song and speed that I wanted to walk down the aisle to and they played it to perfection. The best part about it was that Harry was such a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. He' so warm, organized, and attentive. He helped me decide on music I had in mind, and even offered some great advice on some other aspects of the wedding since I was a destination bride!
New Orleans Classical & Jazz truly added so much elegance to our wedding ceremony. They even played some of our requested favorite R&B songs from John Legend, to Beyoncé to The Fugees. They can do a wide range of genres! If you're looking for an ensemble for your ceremony, cocktail hour, reception...anything... I highly recommend!
P.S We booked our sound equipment through them as well, (mics and etc.) and it was affordable and worked perfectly!
