And my husband and I really enjoyed our first night together in such a beautiful hotel, and especially such a nice room. I was very pleased with our experience at the Marriott and would highly recommend it to others.

as the best possible. The rooms are beautiful and always clean. The hotel restaurant offers delicious, reasonably priced meals, and the amenities (access to Premier Fitness, a rooftop track/basketball court, an indoor heated pool, etc.) add even more to the experience. We received numerous compliments from our wedding guests. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the New Orleans area for their wedding.

r about 200 people. The room was big enough but still had an intimate feel. Our Marriott event manager was Maria Peterson. She was simply amazing! She worked very closely with us before the event and ran everything seamlessly on the wedding day. She and the Marriott staff were very attentive and responsive to all of our needs. I would definitely book another event here!

red about, the rates were through the roof. On a very positive note, nonetheless, this was the ONLY hotel of the 20 we checked out that was willing to even give us the service of blocking rooms. (The others wouldn't because of said fest in town.)

My husband stayed here the night before our wedding; then I stayed with him the night of our wedding and the day after. We are loyal Marriott customers and we have stayed at this ...

hotel before. Once he checked in and the bellhop helped him to the room and found out he was in town for our wedding he came back up later with a $50 gift card to be used in their restaurant and bar! Later than night while we were at our rehearsal they left in our room New Orleans themed food and drinks for us with a very sweet note congratulating us. The night of our wedding we had to walk several blocks back to the hotel because it was Mardi Gras and the streets were blocked off. We walked in the doors with very full hands of cakes, gifts, and bags. Someone from bell hop came running over to us; took all our things and delivered them up to our room! The staff was top notch and so friendly.

ter, so we could walk to just about anywhere. We had a view of the river and the city from our room. It was beautiful. Our bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. We also got the honeymoon special so there were chocolate covered strawberries, champagne, and free breakfast. Yummm! We paide $200 for the night.

e parents of the bride. They gave my guests a good deal at $99 a night which is great for a holiday weekend. (labor day) Only downfall was that they would only allow me to block a certain number of rooms and I needed to block more rooms with another hotel. I think it was only because it was a big tourist weekend though.
