New Park Event Venue & Suites

and the wish room- it can't get any better. Sara and the team at New Park assured that our day (and weekend) ran flawlessly. They were very responsive, attentive, and detailed oriented throughout the whole process. They even had a golf cart and was able to drive our grandparents to and from the ceremony site to the reception spot. We rented out the suites for the weekend, they are beautiful and updated luxury rooms.. we are talking automatic heated toilet seats! The property is stunning and has so much character to it- there are endless places to take photos! I cannot recommend New Park and Sara and her team enough.

all of our questions, accommodated multiple site visits, and were around all weekend to make sure everything ran smoothly. New Park is like its own little world tucked back in the forest and we could not think of a more special place to celebrate our marriage. The ceremony space is magical, there are so many places for photo ops on the property, the whole reception space is large enough for people to spread out but small enough that you can still connect with your guests, and the suites are all so unique. Guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the venue was and asking how we found out about it. New Park is Ithaca’s best kept secret! Our wedding wouldn’t have been as perfect as is was if we had chosen a different venue.

Sara was very helpful by suggesting various vendors for catering and flowers as well as general wedding organization such as table layout, logistics for the ceremony, and parking. Throughout our wedding weekend Sara and her team were always available, offering help, and accommodating changing needs. We highly recommend New Park and are already planning to visit again for milestone anniversaries.

the ability for us and our siblings who have toddlers to stay on site, and price. Sara and her team delivered on all fronts. The ceremony spot was simply magical- it's hard to do it justice with pictures! The pavilion+tent combo was totally comfortable for the 170ish guests we had. And the lawn games were a total hit. Furthermore, the guest rooms are really beautiful and comfortable. We had a more modest budget for a big wedding, and New Park was affordable without feeling at all "cheap." My only piece of advice if you're having a wedding here- on a nice summer evening, it can be tough to pull people inside to dance since the grounds are so lovely. We used the limbo and it worked like a charm to bring people in an start the dance party! Also, we worked with Van Noble catering, DJ Tuggle, Mama Said Handpies, Rachel Philipson Photography, Hotel Ithaca for room blocks, and Coachmaster for shuttling from downtown Ithaca. Everything was coordinated very nicely.

a wedding. Many people will have weddings here in the summer, but this is also a beautiful venue for an intimate fall/winter wedding. We held our ceremony in the main hall, then walked a short distance to the wishing well room for a cozy toast and appetizers. While we were gone they reset the room with the dinner tables, which was beautifully and tastefully done. I highly recommend New Park and their staff.

at we had access to the entire venue from Friday to Sunday - this made planning, setting up and coordinating so much easier. We stayed on site in the cabins with a bunch of our friends, and it was a magical experience. The cabins are so unique, so cozy and we really appreciated the updated linens and furniture within the original beautiful carpentry and stonework. We and our guests had so much fun, everyone raved about the scenery and the location. The venue is large and grassy, with an indoor pavilion as well as an outdoor tented patio and two decks off the pavilion, so guests have lots of space and areas to hang out throughout the event, which we liked. We loved the lighting in the tent and the pavilion, and we didn't bring in much extra decor because the natural beauty of the place was enough. There is a bar built into the pavilion as well. The venue is only about a 15 minute drive from downtown Ithaca where most of our guests stayed. Sara and the New Park staff were amazing throughout our planning process and over the weekend of our event, helping out with anything we needed or asked. Sara worked directly with some of our vendors which helped so much with coordinating, and made sure everything flowed smoothly with all of our guests and vendors and with each part of our event. We truly didn't want to leave this magical place the day after our wedding!

act with Jamie. In early 2021, New Park sold to a new owner, Sara. We weren't sure what to expect with Sara but she soon reached out and set up a video call with us. We immediately felt at ease with Sara as she answered all of our questions and was so organized and thoughtful. She was also there to answer all of our questions about the changing rules and regulations with Covid and always kept us in the loop. Sara helped us plan everything for our big day and made sure we had a backup plan in case of rain. New Park is such a magical and beautiful place with so many unique spots both inside and outside. We definitely took advantage of all that New Park has to offer. We had our rehearsal dinner in the amazing pavilion where Sara and her team set up a farmhouse style dinner table. We got ready in our wedding suite with hair and makeup on site. We got married at the beautiful ceremony spot in the woods and then the dancing pavilion and dinner tent kept us dry from the rain. After the reception, we had an after party in the Wish Room with a bonfire. Finally on Sunday, we had brunch in the Wish Room. All of our guests kept commenting on how magical and beautiful the venue was! We even had several people inquire about getting married there themselves. Sara and her team helped make any request we had a reality like having a ping pong table outside for our guests to play. They even offered to run errands for us throughout the weekend. Sara and her team also totally updated the beautiful rooms at New Park and somehow made them even more magical and perfect than before. The rooms are so spacious, clean, and interesting! Everywhere you look there are special details and special touches like stained glass, hidden keys, and stonework. Every bathroom/ shower is incredible and unique! We had our whole wedding party and their significant others stayed with us on site all weekend which was perfect since we had guests arriving from across the country. They couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the rooms and bathrooms were! We cannot wait to come back to New Park in the future to spend a weekend and even have plans to celebrate my parents 40th anniversary there in a few years. Thank you for everything, Sara!

ceremony/reception and farewell brunch. There were 13 of us who stayed over, including the entire wedding party, close friends and family. Once you arrive you are welcomed and join the NewPark family. On the weekend of our wedding I had nothing to worry about. If we needed something, all we had to do was ask and it was delivered. Vicki is such a kind and talented individual, who ran our wedding like a boss. The property is BEAUTIFUL, unique and well manicured, and our wedding was too. You will be impressed and astonished by the accommodations. All of the decor is extremely unique. Jamie has collected amazing items throughout his travel. You can look around the bungalows and property with delight for hours. I am so grateful to the NewPark family and all that they did to make our weekend beautiful and unforgettable!

our ceremony there which was gorgeous. The whole compound is so beautiful that we could keep the decorations simple and there was so much to look at that our guests weren't just waiting for us to be done with pictures. Jamie, you were SO accommodating and always asked to make sure everything was going smoothly. After the wedding, you were up working so hard cleaning up the left overs and tearing things down. I would NOT have changed a single thing. I hope that all of the engaged couples that attended my wedding will consider your property because it was perfect and totally worth EVERY penny. ny back in the chapel, which is set by a creek in a wooded area. The sculpture and art around the park are incredible, guests are still raving about it. The staff was incredible, both before and during the event. We even got to have a bonfire during the reception. A truly unique and amazing place!
