Although Wes was already booked on our wedding day, he assured us that Jose, one of his talented videographers, would capture our special moments, while Wes would handle all the editing. Working with both Wes and Jose was a dream from start to finish. Jose did an incredible job documenting our entire day, capturing both the big and small moments beautifully. When we received our highlight film, we were blown away by how perfectly it reflected our wedding day. My only regret is not booking him for longer to capture the getting-ready process. The editing was flawless, and we were amazed at how quickly everything was delivered—within a month of the wedding! I also appreciated receiving all the raw footage that didn’t make the highlight video, allowing us to relive our special day in its entirety. Wes also sent us a USB drive with all our footage, including the raw clips that didn’t make the highlight video -- allowing us to have access to these memories forever. He arrived early to set up and even stayed a bit later than we originally had him scheduled, as our ceremony had to be delayed due to rain. He was quick to respond to my many emails when I had questions and was one of the only vendors to reconfirm the date and details before the wedding, which I found very professional. He'll make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and is all around a very nice person, which is all you want on your big day. You can tell he has passion for what he does. I really can't say enough great things about Wes. I didn't initially budget for a videographer, but I have no regrets spending the extra money so we could have the ceremony and speeches professionally filmed. And again the footage turned out so great. I'm so glad I'll have this forever. I would recommend him to my friends and family. If you're on the fence go for it. So worth it!!

He also had set up his microphones and several types of cameras and lights for the ceremony area and reception site so he could get multiple angles to capture the best footage indoors and outdoors, in different lighting. Wes worked solid and in tandem with the photographer we hired from 3:00 pm until 11:00 pm. He videoed our bridal party, the bride and groom’s ‘first look,’ their garden wedding ceremony & cocktail hour on the lawn, the indoor dinner & reception, and the sparkler exit. He was very polite and professional while communicating with all ages of the bridal party and guests. Within a week after the wedding, we were amazed to already receive the seven-hour raw video footage from our daughter and son-in-law's wedding. A few weeks beyond, we received our first draft of the Highlight Video. We laughed and cried at how sweet everything was edited. Wes truly captured the emotions of our special day, both in the raw footage and the five-minute highlight video edited to music, and we'll all treasure our daughter's wedding day even more in time because the videos will help keep our memories alive. The bottom line is this: DO NOT let people convince you that you don't need a videographer for your wedding. The wedding day goes by too fast. You'll try to “live in the moment” with your loved ones, which means you can’t see everything and be everywhere. When it's over, you'll realize how amazing the day was and want to relive it again - but can't if there isn't a video! This is why you need to hire Wes Shepard to record the most special day of your life. You won’t ever regret it.

I was unfortunately pretty sick on the day of my wedding. He was extremely sensitive to that and did all he could to ensure everything went smoothly. He was wonderful to work with in the run up to the wedding, as well as after the big day. I was working crazy hours both before and after the wedding. He was extremely patient with me when I was slow to get him information, our music selections and in making decisions on the final cut of the video. I also had minor edits to the wedding video, and he was very happy to accommodate my requests.
