He then took our stories and wove them together for the perfect, personalized ceremony. He also suggested a wine box ceremony, something that we hadn’t heard of before, but fit perfectly for us and is a keepsake that we look forward to sharing on our anniversary. We also wanted to write our own vows, which Scott was very supportive of, and helped us through any questions that we had about logistics. Scott is very professional, gets back to you quickly, and is an excellent storyteller with great public speaking skills. I don’t know what more you can ask for! We even had several guests at the reception tell us what a unique ceremony it was, and how much they enjoyed it. It was important to us that we be able to pick and choose what we wanted in our ceremony since we are from different religious backgrounds (Christian & Atheist) and didn't want to join a church just for the wedding. Scott listened to every question we had and was always willing to work in our requests. We wanted to include a few weird references and also do a "framed finger prints" unity ceremony, both of which he did a great job of incorporating into the ceremony. He also helped us figure out some of the logistics of doing the unity ceremony as well, which was a huge help. When we had the rehearsal he took charge of gathering everyone, leading everyone in their roles, and gave the bridal party really helpful tips that kept things orderly and smoothly running on the day of. We even had some of my family stop by to watch the rehearsal (which was not planned), but he did a great job of fielding their questions regarding the ceremony so that we could focus on other things. Thank you Scott for a beautiful ceremony!

Through writing and a meeting, he spent time really getting to know us as a couple so he could best represent us. Through describing from our own points-of-view a written description of our relationship history, he was able to describe how we came together and how important it was that we made it through the drama in our early relationship. We could tell that it was just as important to him as it was to us to have the details of our relationship presented during the ceremony, but not necessarily said to our guests. He was so mindful of how delicate feelings can be. Plus, he's a great person! He has so many options to pick from for different elements in a ceremony that something unique and appropriate is easy to find with him. I still have people texting me that they have never heard such a special and meaningful ceremony, and that means so much to me. Scott makes the entire process of planning and working on a ceremony make sense, even if you are the type of person who doesn't necessarily buy-in to all that goes into a ceremony, in the end you will have a wonderful representation of your relationship, and can be very proud to stand with your partner and pledge your commitment to your guests.
