We were finally able to get married this past Saturday and I am still getting messages from our guests about how amazing everything was! The food, atmosphere, and service was beyond EXCELLENT. My bridesmaids and I got ready in the bridal suite, which was perfect. There were 9 girls total and 4 hair and makeup artists. We felt like we had enough room to enjoy the day and the pictures we were able to capture while getting ready were so nice! I wish cocktail hour could have lasted all night, but then dinner arrived, and it was just as delicious. Everything was seamless and Julie Ann and the other attendants were quick to make sure we were happy and cared for! I really couldn't have asked for a better day and that was all thanks to everyone at New York Country Club. I highly recommend this venue to all future brides looking in the area and would get married again here again and again in a heartbeat!

Not one time did we have to ask where something was or ask when a particular thing was happening. If you thought about it, it was already done. Not to mention, the venue inside and out is absolutely beautiful. We had great weather that day and took some amazing shots out on the green. (We loved be able to drive the golf carts!) we wanted information and to schedule a tour. Neither of us had ever been so we scheduled one and went. As soon as we came through the gates I knew that my "rustic" wedding ideas were out the door. It was the first and only venue we went to and walked out that day with plans to book. The remodel that they did there is outstanding and gives the ''wow" I wanted from my guests. No one we knew had ever gotten married there and we wanted that, we wanted somewhere no one had been before. During our planning process, our maitre d had taken another position elsewhere and Seth stepped in. I've heard horror stories about situations like this so we set up a meeting just to go over the contract and Seth was amazing. The transition from Eric to Seth was seamless and everything about our day went perfect. I didn’t get to eat food, as all brides never do, but Julie Ann did fill our bridal suite with a bunch of items we chose from the menu. Both Seth and Julie Ann were extremely attentive, professional and organized from the beginning and I don't think the wedding would have gone as smoothly if it weren't for them. Also, the views at NYCC are amazing. Guests loved that you could see the NYC skyline from the back deck. 110% would recommend NYCC for your wedding. You will not be disappointed.

to ease my anxiety and pretty much took care of all the big things us brides to be worry about. Cocktail hour was a hit! Soooo much food, I had a lot of family and friends visiting from Jamaica and Guyana and the country club was able to create a station that represented our cultures. A major plus! r a little over a year making sure everything we wanted was being incorporated into our day. Eric also had fantastic suggestions for local vendors that we used and loved. On the day of our wedding he was there from start to finish making sure everything was running smoothly. He was always available and no task was too big or small for him to take on. He also worked with us to have an after-party in the clubhouse post-wedding which our guests loved. To this day we get compliments on the location, scenery, staff and food from the wedding. Highly recommend the vendor and Eric for anyone looking to have their wedding in the area!

ric, was so focused on helping us have the best possible day from our very first inquiry meeting with him. New York country Club allowed us to bring in decorations for the whole venue. They set up everything exactly as we wanted them to and even used their own creative judgement. Everything was perfect! Eric was so easy to get in contact with which made planning that much easier. Our wedding ended up having 214 people in attendance and the room fit everyone perfectly. The food was outstanding - better than any traditional catering hall!!!! They allowed us to do a food tasting before we even booked with them - which no other venue allowed us to do! This is how you know they have great food! The service was impeccable. The bridal attendant, Christina, was always right there if we needed her. Everything was perfect on our beautiful day! We could not be happier with Eric, Christina, and the whole staff at New York Country Club for helping to make the day successful and beautiful.

Christina, our bridal attendant, was amazing the day of, she not only made sure I had everything I needed, but the entire wedding party as well. Even with having our ceremony inside, we still got to appreciate all of the fall colors with the amazing windows everywhere. I know that it was because of Eric and Christina that our wedding went off without a hitch! We had the wedding of our dreams and would not hesitate to do another event at NYCC in the future.

Not to mention the beautiful views of the golf course, fall foliage (We got married in October), and the view of the NYC skyline also helped our decision. In addition to all of this, NYCC had just gone through a renovation, and the finished product was even better than when we saw and liked beforehand! The maitre d', Eric, was a pleasure to work with. He was always so responsive and accommodating to all our questions/requests. We never had a concern that our day would not be perfect. The food was absolutely fantastic, and what was nice was we were able to do a food tasting prior to solidifying our decision, which no other venue that we saw did (We had seen 11 venues in total!). Overall, we were incredibly happy with our decision and had an absolutely perfect day all thanks to NY Country Club!

From the beginning to the end, Eric was there exactly where he needed to be. He answered every question I had, most of the time before I even knew I had them! On the day of our wedding, we were expecting a huge storm and Eric was on top of the weather and getting updates every hour. He knew how badly I wanted to have the ceremony outside so he was more prepared than I could ever imagine to make that happen. Luckily, the weather held up and it ended up being a perfect day. I am still receiving compliments to this day on my wedding at NYCC. The grounds and views were beautiful and the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were nothing short of perfect. The food was amazing and our guests are still raving about it all! Eric and the staff were there throughout the whole night every step of the way. Eric was behind the scenes making sure everything was going exactly how it should. He even went out of his way to get a very picky eater something different when she wasn't eating her meal. The day of the wedding we were able to get ready in the beautiful bridal suite and Eric was there all day checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. He continued to do this throughout the whole night. Eric and his staff also worked with the florist to set up my centerpieces and and made everything look exactly how I envisioned it. I truly could not have asked for a better team to have on my wedding day. My husband and I are so happy with our choice to have our wedding at NYCC. The day of we had the beautiful bridal sweet all day to ourselves and the bridal attend Christina was exceptional! In addition to Eric, Christina really made our day that much more special. Everything is BEYOND PERFECT. The whole venue flows and every room is perfect. You can see the NYC skyline from outside which is breathtaking as well! We knew this was our venue from the first moment we walked in. From the carpet to the chandeliers, everything is outstanding. Eric Handler and the staff at NYCC became our family during the wedding planning time. They were always there for us. We planned a wedding from out of town which was hard, but Eric was always available for us. From the moment we met Eric we felt extremely comfortable. He answered every question we had and didn’t make us feel overwhelmed. There were certain things and ideas we wanted included in our day and Eric always gave us his professional opinion. He was always respectful and guided us in the right direction when we needed help. Eric never steered us wrong. He was always flexible and open to our ideas to make the day our day and different from any other. He has a lot on his plate but you never saw that. He always made you feel like you were the only couple and the only day he had on his calendar. We are forever grateful to work with such an amazing person like Eric and his staff. We had a lot of big and small details to make our day perfect and Eric went above and beyond with our directions of what we wanted. Him and his staff made everything perfect and even more of what we had visioned. We had a lot of small touches and decorations we wanted out and not once was he bothered or made you feel like you couldn’t add something. From months prior to the wedding to the day of, you were his priority. They go ABOVE AND BEYOND here at NYCC!! The entire staff, the bridal assistant Christina, and Eric were more than we could have ever imagined or asked for. Christina was beyond perfect as well. Anything I needed that day she was there for me and got it right away. She was always kind and always had a smile on her face. She made it feel like she was actually a friend that was invited that day and just there to take care of you! Our day was perfect and it was definitely because of them how smooth everything went. I could go on and on about working with this team for our big day and having this beautiful venue as the place we had our wedding. Our day would not have been what it was without this beautiful venue and the team behind it.

He was also very accommodating with coordinating a private tasting and creating a menu that fit us. I had a lot of decor with no directions, but it was all placed beautifully the day of. I also decided last minute that I was going to put out a cigar bar and they accommodated for us! The food was amazing, and our guests are still raving about it. NYCC grounds are beautiful, theres so many different spots to go to take photos. The venue itself is gorgeous and spacious, with plenty of room for our 225 guests. And everyone loved the view of the city skyline in the distance. They have a list of recommended vendors to choose from, and I used three, and loved all of them! We had a few hiccups with our transportation, the extreme heat, and some random changes... but Eric and the NYCC staff handled it all seamlessly and made sure I never stopped smiling! My bridal attendant checked on me througout the night to make sure I had drinks, food, and having a good time. Thank you so much to the NYCC team for making our wedding the best day ever!

I am so glad we chose NYCC for so many reasons. Eric and the team are so easy to work with and have significant event planning expertise. The outdoor patio space is covered, so in the event of rain, you can still have a gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony. We had perfect weather but were still so glad to have the covered patio to save everyone from the heat. The variety and quantity of photo spots is unparalleled - from the hills and lakes of the golf course, to the willow trees, to the patio, the front entrance way, and the couches of the bridal suite, you get such a great variety of beautiful backdrops for your photos, which to me was extremely important. The food was excellent, and the bridal attendant was so sweet to bring food to my husband and I in the bridal suite right after our ceremony. She was also prepared with champagne post ceremony and perfume to help me freshen up before our party. Eric works with top quality partners such as Le Gateau Suisse who produced the most delicious cake that you have ever tasted. Plus, they include a free cake for your one year anniversary so you don't need to freeze your wedding cake which is a nice touch. Eric made sure the whole night went smoothly and all of our guests were happy. The bar tenders are amazing and we never had lines even though we had close to 200 guests. The value proposition of NYCC is hard to beat, and would highly recommend this place!!

The cocktail hour menu offered a wealth of traditional and modern options. Think everything from pasta stations to chicken parmesan skewers to dim sum. The main courses were out of this world, as well. To top it all off, Eric threw in a Belgian Waffle station as an extra dessert for no extra charge. I want to attend another wedding there for the food alone! So if you’re reading this, stop what you’re doing and book New York Country Club for your wedding!! You will be forever thrilled with your decision. Don't delay! We partied like never before and can't thank them enough!

ountry club are beautifully kept and made for perfect outdoor photos. The cocktail hour was held in the glass enclosed atrium which is fully air conditioned and very spacious. There was a huge variety of tasty food at the cocktail hour and more than enough to satisfy the hungriest guests! The dinner reception was held in the newly renovated, tastefully decorated ballroom. Each course was nicely plated and our dinner choices were delicious. There were many things included in our package that other venues charged extra for. (ex.pastry platter, wedding cake) Eric, the catering manager, was very accommodating and always made himself available to us while planning for the "big day". He was there when we arrived early in the day and stayed throughout the entire event to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Eric did not disappoint! Christine, our personal assistant, couldn't have been sweeter. She made sure every zipper was zipped, every flower was in place, and the bridal party remained calm. She even made sure the bride and groom had something to eat during the cocktail hour. Everything was so much more than I hoped it would be! I only wish the day could have lasted longer.

My guest are still talking about how classy and breath taking everything was. My guest felt like a million dollars when they were greeted with a class of champagne as they walked in. The day of the wedding our bridal suite was perfect, Christine was very attentive and thought of everything we may need ahead of time. Eric dealt with all my guest and vendors perfectly. The food and drinks were spectacular, and my very picky family/guest we all very satisfied. I can't say enough how much NYCC, Eric and his team supported us! They are one of the highlights of our wedding, and I hope to one day be a guest at a wedding at this venue so I can enjoy everything again!

A big Thank You to Eric Handler and Melissa the bridal suite attendant. My daughters wedding was on Dec 17 and as you can guess it snowed that morning which put everyone in a panic and the wedding did not even start. We arrived at the Venue and Eric and his staff where their in the morning to help the girls get organized and start to get themselves ready for the wedding. Melissa was the bridal suite attendant and she kept the girls organized and also worked on the finale setting up of the Venue. Any time I ask either one of them if I could help, they said yes by sitting down and relaxing. My daughter was married at the Venue, which they have a beautiful room to be able to do the wedding. Eric and Melissa kept us organized with walking down the aisle. Once they where married the party started and everyone was on the dance floor and etc. Every so often you would see Eric come and find me to see if we needed anything. I will say he was always available during the wedding if anything was needed. I would look over to my daughter and I would see Melissa taking care of the newly married couple. Today is Jan 7 and I am still getting calls from people who attended saying how great the wedding was and of course how great the food was. As you can guess I would Highly recommend this Venue to anyone looking to having a great wedding experience, minimum stress, great staff and great food. We went to the NYCC several times throughout the year, and saw it in all conditions: rain, snow, sunshine, and the perfect mixture of fall colors, and it was nothing short of stunning every time. We worked with Eric Handler, who was amazing. There wasn’t anything he said no to. We were able to come in for not one, but two tastings. He was able to fill very…and I mean literally the day before, VERY last minute decisions regarding a “specialty drink” that everyone was drinking the entire night because the drink was that good. Any minor “catastrophe” I created in my head was immediately rectified by him (it never had anything to do with the venue itself either, but he fixed everything anyways –ex. We were supposed to have cupcakes delivered to give to 3 birthday boys, but they didn’t come, so he improvised with cake and candles). And lest we not forget, he found a place for every single decoration I came to play with. I mean floor to ceiling, I overdid it, and they not only found the room for everything, but made it look amazing. The food was incredible. Even after the two tastings, it just got better and better. Even with a very critical set of Italian family members, no one said a bad thing about any of our 3 dinner choices. Not to mention the insane amount of food they provide to you for the cocktail hour. Even if there’s something you wanted that wasn’t on their list of foods, they’d work with you to make it happen. And I don’t know who came up with the idea of bridal attendants, but ours was the best. When I wanted my dress bustled, or a drink in my hand, or food in my belly, she came out of nowhere with everything in hand, and it was amazing. Last but not least, the cost. My (at the time) fiancé and I must have visited, I kid you not, about 20 venues. This was the second cheapest place for prices that we found, and that was also Saturday NIGHT at the peak of wedding season. They were not completely rigid on pricing or minimum persons, and it made for a pretty painless bill (considering our comparisons), and the amount you get for the price is wonderful. Best deal out there, I kid you not. Overall: the atmosphere, the staff, the food, the décor, the COST…everything. Everything was amazing and perfect. I didn’t have to stress about a single thing working with our venue. I couldn’t have asked for a better time, and a better staff to work with. I would recommend this place to ANYONE.

then Eric's team was able to turnover the room as quick as possible for a 200 person ceremony. The food was great and plentiful! Our bridal attendant Melissa made sure that my husband and I were able to actually eat at the cocktail hour and was very attentive and thoughtful throughout the night. Our guests were all seated comfortably and all tables fit in the ballroom so there was no exclusion. The night/day of the venue was gorgeous, our guests are still raving about it! All in all, i highly recommend the New York Country Club!

ric in order to get every last detail perfect was the best experience of the entire wedding. At one point I just brought in a bunch of extra decorations and just said "I have no idea where or how to put these." When I walked into the foyer right before I walked down the aisle and saw where and how he placed everything I had dropped off... I was blown away. The food was incredible, the views of the NYC skyline on a clear day were perfect, and the rolling golf course hills were impeccable. Everything I asked for, they made it happen, and as expensive as weddings can be, I truly feel that I got the experience of a 5 star wedding without breaking the bank. I could keep going on and on... just know that you are in the best hands with the NYCC!

an outdoor ceremony space, with a fully protected indoor alternative for bad weather that still has great views and makes for pretty photos. We felt very happy with our choice in venues, but were surprised to receive an email over the winter that the banquet manager we had booked with was no longer working there, and we would be working with someone completely new to the venue. Of course, this caused us to worry as anyone would. However, when Eric Handler started, our fears were quickly alleviated! He made sure to reach out to us and assured us that we had nothing to worry about, he would continue to take care of everything we had talked about with the previous banquet manager. He did that and so much more! Everything from extra cocktail hour food choices, to signature his/hers beverages, to special requests for craft beer was granted! Eric made sure to stay in touch with us, and responded to my (numerous) calls and emails as our wedding day approached, in a very timely matter. We were able to drop off a bunch of decorations and accessories the night before, since there was no event Friday night, which was a huge help. The day of the wedding was mostly stress-free for me, largely in part to Eric, my bridal attendant, Melissa, the head waitress, Christina, and the rest of the staff. Everyone was super friendly! Most importantly they set up all the decorations, center pieces (which took some effort) and put up signs and everything so I didn’t have to worry about anything! My bridesmaids and I got ready in the bridal suite at the NYCC, and they had drinks, breakfast and Christina to help us with whatever we needed! The wedding went off without a hitch, with the staff continuing to be helpful and fun throughout the night. We were always told when we needed to be somewhere (getting ready to enter the reception area, cutting the cake, bouquet/garter toss, etc) so we didn’t have to worry about keeping an eye on the time or schedule. We highly recommend NYCC for your wedding, and you are certain to have a great wedding with Eric Handler as your banquet manager!

It pains me to say that when we think back on our wedding, we remember Seth’s mistakes, lack of professionalism, and poor attitude. Below is a list of things went wrong during the wedding. If you are seriously considering this place, I urge you to continue reading: Overall Seth was not around most of the party, inattentive, unhelpful and his overall demeanor before and during the wedding was that he could never possibly be wrong and wanted things done exactly how he saw fit. He kept mentioning that we were the biggest wedding bridal/groom party he had ever had and seemed unequipped at handling it. He complained we “drank him dry” and cut off shots in the middle of the party. He was completely unaccommodating. He misquoted his own catering menu for sushi during our cocktail hour. We discussed the price and amount previous to the final walkthrough and had it all in email. The day of our final walkthrough we brought up the sushi and how we budgeted to include it only to find that Seth changed the price. I pulled up the email stating the price in the email and he said “oh I must have put the wrong amount when I emailed you” as if it was no big deal. He couldn't have cared less. We paid for "unlimited pizzas" at the end of the party. Guests told us they were "mini pizza bagels that ran out immediately". He confirmed they "are for everyone and will not run out". Seth promised a bridal attendant would take care of the bridal party. He said he’d have a “great” backup at our final walkthrough as the original was unavailable. On the day of my wedding I was introduced to my “bridal attendant”, who turned out to be a waitress at our party. I didn't see her until she served me dinner later that night - we confronted Seth and he admitted it was his mistake. Seth got into a screaming match with our band (who were amazing) because he wanted the salads served at a certain time and they played one extra song. He made them stop in the middle of the song so that he can serve salad and make everyone sit down for it. This was incredibly unprofessional and ultimately embarrassing to force the music to stop in the beginning of the party. We are jewish and per a typical Jewish wedding we wanted to say the Ha-Motzi. Seth confirmed via email “we will provide 1 Challah”. He forgot it and we were unable to do this important blessing. When the horah came on, the chairs he showed us - ones with arms to hold on to - were nowhere in sight. Guests grabbed regular chairs which made going up horrifying and we both nearly fell off. Before I went down the aisle I (the bride) asked for some pineapple. Right away I got pineapple that was clearly cut with a knife that just sliced up an onion. My pineapple tasted like onion and as the bride this was really frustrating considering I hate onion (irrelevant) and I don’t need to smell like an onion at my own wedding.

All of our meetings went well and she understood what was important to my husband and I. The night of the wedding she was super helpful with getting my dress bustled and got us food and drinks immediately. When cocktail hour ended and everyone sat down the room became warm and she worked on the AC and getting the room cool until the problem was solved. It took some time but was taken care of. For the cake we worked with Rolf and he did a great job designing exactly what we wanted. The only issue was that we had about 200 guests and all the cake went! I would have liked to have had a piece to bring home, which is my only complaint. But I am happy that everyone enjoyed the cake!!! Kiah worked extremely well with all of our other vendors and made everything so easy! She even danced with us at the end of the night for the last song!!! I really enjoyed working with Kiah and she made our wedding spectacular!!!

Ellen was so amazing.. within the first hour of our wedding my husband stepped on my dress and the whole bustle came off and Ellen was right there to sew my dress! She did everything flawlessly! We are still getting complimented on how great our wedding was and how beautiful NYCC is! I could not have imagined a more perfect wedding, so thank you to Ellen and her staff! We would definitely recommend NYCC to anyone who wants to get married with a beautiful scenery and delicious food!

The service during the evening was inconsistent (e.g. I don't think anyone had wine poured at the table and dinner took a long time to be served), but all things considered it was great. The wedding cake was great also - through a baker (Le Gateau Suisse) set up by NYCC. And they had told us we would have a bridal attendant, but I'm not sure if we did. I hired a day-of planner, so that's perhaps why I wasn't aware of a bridal attendant - we didn't need it.

lot of class too. It seemed to fit my style perfectly. One of the best parts of the venue is the cocktail space. I wanted an outdoor cocktail hour but also realized it might rain. New York Country Club's space is perfect because it's a huge glass room that overlooks the golf course. It allows you to feel outside even though you are in a perfectly air conditioned space. Sure enough, it poured during our cocktail hour and everything worked out fine. Leading up to the wedding, Ellen was so wonderful to work with. I can't say enough about her...she really went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. She is so sweet and knows how important the day is. She also knows her stuff. It is obvious that she has a lot of experience in the catering field. On the day of our wedding, we arrived 2 1/2 hours early. We were greeted with food and drinks. We took most of our pictures on the golf course just before the rain started. Everyone at the club was so nice and accommodating. Soon enough, our reception began. The whole night was FLAWLESS. Not one thing went wrong. Ellen and her staff were awesome and she frequently checked in with me and my husband. Everyone raved about how great the food was...our guests are still telling us that everything was delicious. New York Country Club is truly a hidden gem in Rockland County. You won't be disappointed....and make sure you work with Ellen...she's the best!

honest feedback without being pushy. We visited 10 other locations before we decided on the NYCC and one of the big draws for us was that the space is so beautiful and smartly laid out. We were able to hold our cocktail hour on the outdoor patio and the reception in the main room. Even though we ended up having a gorgeous day, our minds were at ease beforehand knowing that even if it poured, we wouldn’t need to adjust anything about the arrangement since their outdoor patio is fully covered. The high ceilings and huge windows in the main room made it feel incredibly light and airy – we had over 200 guests and no one could believe it because the room never felt crowded. The food was incredible, acoustics for our live bands in the main room and on the patio were great and we found the price to be very competitive.

truly allowed us to have the most incredible wedding day. Planning a wedding long distance wasn't an easy task but he really made the process less daunting. I wouldn't hesitate to rec. Seth and the entire NY Country Club staff to anyone. If you want a truly classy NY wedding, NYCC is the way to go.

Our cocktail hour was delicious and the variety and selection for the menu was great! The dinner menu was wonderful because you were able to pick what you wanted and there was a good number of choices! The FOOD IS DELICIOUS!! I made a point to sit down and eat my delicious dinner!! SOO GOOD!! The NYCC works with the bakery Le Gateau Suisse which makes the most beautiful cake and it was delicious! Seth was great and we met with him when we signed our contract and he was there with us when we closed out our night on our wedding night!! I highly recommend the NYCC to anyone who wants a beautiful location and a perfect location for their reception!!! THANK YOU!!!
