ly looked nice. Lana, listened to my wants, needs and concerns. She made me feel so beautiful and she helped me embrace my tall height and own it. I went with a very simple, yet elegant style dress. I was concerned it was to plain. Lana told me there are other ways to add to the dress without having to add to the dress itself. Once she added a vail and the most beautiful headband and propped up my hair-it was all the extra detail I needed to see to say yes to the dress! Lana met my crew at the front door of New York Lace and was very warm, inviting and excited to meet us. She seemed very eager right away. It was just us for the appointment, which was so amazing as all her attention was on me. Lana asked all the right questions to get me into the perfect dress. She was amazing and I felt we clicked and meshed well together. It really is all about who you have helping you and if they will mesh well with u. I left there feeling beautiful and amazing. Knowing that I found the perfect dress is so exciting. I can’t wait to go back for the official fitting!! It was a very pleasant, fun and painless experience. Thanks to Lana and New York Lace!!

sat down with us, and started the appointment with questions about my vision for the wedding, color scheme, and what types of dresses I was leaning towards. After spending some time getting to know me, asking what I was looking for, and asking questions I honestly hadn't thought of, she began to pull dresses. With each dress, she asked me what I liked and didn't like about it, and then proceeded to pull dresses which had the qualities I loved. About an hour into the entire process, she came out with THE ONE! She then began accessorizing, and that was honestly when the tears started for me. That's when I knew. I did have a couple of other dress appointments after New York Lace, which I had confirmed and felt guilty not going to, so I let Lana know I'd call her by the end of the day. She did not pressure me a great deal or make me feel obligated to make a decision at that moment. We went about our day and tried the other boutiques without any luck (the service was horrible at the second, and the third did not have a good selection), andI ultimately went with the perfect dress that Lana found for me at New York Lace. My friends and I are still talking about how wonderful she was to work with, and we will see her again soon for the bridesmaids' dresses. So incredibly happy with the service we received.

I personally have a fun and outgoing personality along with the ladies I brought with me, so it came so natural as she was helping me. But I can honestly say that even if you were super shy, girl she’ll know how to help you open your wings and feel like an angel, if you weren’t super confident or unhappy with your skin, I guarantee she’d find a dress that makes you feel like the true princess you are! She loves what she does and you can absolutely tell because she’s so good at it! She notices your reactions, and uses that to find the perfect one. They let you take pictures of yourself in the gowns you try on (which not all salons do, btw) and they have a bridal consultant working one on one with you to help you figure out your shape, style, and honestly encourage you during what can be a nerve-racking time! I was an indecisive bride and they really helped guide me along, never pressuring me or making me feel anxious. I can't thank them enough for helping me decide on the gown of my dreams! I went to them for everything from start to finish. They were a great one stop wedding dress shop. The purchase of the gown, the alterations, and the preservation after my wedding. They did it all and I trusted them to do so because of how professional and friendly they are, the quality of their work, and their history of being around for a long time. The alterations on my dress were perfect and they make sure you feel completely comfortable in your dress, even if it's the littlest thing that might frustrate you, they will hear you out and alter your dress so you feel the best you've ever felt in that dress! Everyone I worked with from Maria to Dolores to her husband, Francisco, were so professional and made you feel like you were their top priority! The alterations department was top notch! As a survey big chested girl, my biggest fear was as strapless dress. But I ended p with strapless anyway. Let me tell you, my dress did not slip one bit! Even through all the dancing. In addition to my on dress and veil, my MIL and my bridesmaids all got their dresses there as well. Customer Service is a priority and by the end of the year I spent with them Dolores and Fransisco were my family! Fransisco even gave me some amazing pointers for the day of, like holding my flower and how to walk down the carpet ailse, to look and feel my best and most confident.

In the initial fitting, the tailor didn't speak to me at all - just starting pinning the dress (far too tightly than I would have liked) and altering the shoulders etc. When I expressed displeasure with the initial tailoring of the dress, the sales people told me that the dress/style hadn't changed at all. Then they admitted that the style/dress did look different than the one I had originally purchased - but insisted that this new look was the design intent and it was supposed to look this way. They spent more time telling me that I should feel beautiful and little time listening to my concerns. I had to go through this "discussion" at every fitting. I ended up with an acceptable dress, but it was a long, excruciating and frustrating process. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Maria told me she didn’t want to measure me because she wanted the dress to be absolutely perfect and didn’t want me to stress about changing the heel height of my shoe and then the dress looking like it wasn’t custom tailored for me. She’s been in the industry for a while and you can definitely tell by her level of knowledge. She didn’t pressure me into anything and educated me the whole day about styles, fits and materials. So far I’m very pleased with my experiences there, I hope that continues.

Right when I was wondering how a dress would look with a veil, she already had the veil ready to put on. Overall, New York Lace provided me with a fantastic experience trying on dresses for the first time! I ended up saying YES to my dream dress, and I cannot wait to return for my first fitting!

After we found our winning dress it was determined that that dress was not cut anymore. Well they did everything possible and we were able to take the sample dress they had in store. We also live in NJ and they made all accommodations to have the dress let out and be pinned for alterations that same day!! Reasonable prices to boot! They also accommodated our schedules in planning dress fitting in the coming months as our distance is not easily accessible. We could not have had a better experience there from top to bottom. I would definitely recommend that you make sure to visit the ladies at New York Lace for all of your needs. They truly are incredible!!

shopping (the 1st round was with the MOH, MOB, and MOG at 2 other places). I found New York Lace to be the most complete experience! I made an early weekday appt at New York Lace (street parked directly outside and they insisted on paying for my metered parking when I needed more time!) and met with their long-time 20 year experienced consultant, "Marie" and 1st day! employee "Nicole". Marie and Nicole sat me down and explained the history, mission, and ideals of New York Lace (Brides- they do not work on commission so please be at ease). I quickly realized their commitment to my finding that special gown. Marie then asked of my vision, viewed a few of my Iphotos (I had little to share at the time) and then went off to search for my future gown. Nicole diligently helped me in-out of the gowns without hesitation and with the up-most of profession. She graciously took pictures and 360' videos (other boutiques do not allow photos!). Marie, Nicole and I evaluated each gown and altered the pick for the next gown. Marie reviewed each dress in detail with me from the silhouette to neckline to color to flare to pattern to embroidery to appliques and to the sweep of the train. After several dresses, Marie scurried off and found "the one". Please note, I'm not the emotional type - until I tried on "THE GOWN". Together and completely unexpectedly, we cried (even Marie who was extremely knowledgeable and, perhaps, hardened in her many years of consultation). I said "YES, TO THE DRESS TO NEW YORK LACE!" and the rest is history. Long story short, I found the dress of my dreams and with which I will walk down the aisle. I am immensely grateful to the commitment of Dolores (New York Lace owner extraordinaire), Marie (exquisitely exceptional expert) and Nicole (newly blushing consultant). I am in debt to you. Brides - the dresses are beautiful, the knowledge is beyond compare, and the experience is unprecedented - I kid you not, it is not common to find all three qualities in one boutique. Being a smaller bride most of the dresses I have to have clipped so you can see the shape she did not to half of them. The women continually rambled on and on about how the alterations were included in the dress so that way I could go above my my price range. She would not STOP talking almost the entire time each dress took about thirty minutes to try on due to her talking and just not being there. Instead of having several dresses I could try I on and choose from in the dressing room she would leave me in the dress I just showed my bridal party and i would have to wait while she hunted something down. It got to the point I was so frustrated with her my maid of honor came in and helped me into my dresses and clipped me. I am not one to right reviews about places generally but I am so aggravated still and frankly pissed with my experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

ny words told me the dress I am looking for doesn't exist. I can either have lace, satin or bling. I get that it's frustrating when a bride doesn't know her exact vision but I left feeling disappointed and being told I am running out of time. Not a fun experience.

ss was way too big on the first fitting. They took it in and it was still too big. Two weeks before my wedding they scheduled my last fitting and when I told them it was too big they said it was better for the pictures if it didnt hug my body too close. My question is, why did I have a full inch between my dress and a push up bra?
