We used New York Liquid Catering for our rehearsal dinner and after party event and I can’t recommend them enough. The set up was professional and the service outstanding. John and his staff are very personable and knowledgeable. John, the owner, was amazing to work with. He was so accommodating, completely chill, and always answered my questions within minutes. For our after-party, he arrived before any of the guests and set everything up entirely on his own, without any direction from us. We walked in and it was perfect — he even brought extra lights to make the space look even better.The bar was a huge hit, especially his specialty drinks. I honestly couldn’t recommend John and Liquid Catering more. He made everything so easy and played a huge roll in making the weekend everything we hoped for.

NYLC was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding last weekend. John was AMAZING from the start of our wedding process all the way through til the end. We were lucky enough to have him DJ as well, no one left the dance floor all night!! Family and friends couldn’t say enough about the night. John was very attentive, supported our wants and needs, creative !! - helping us make decisions on drinks, song choices, flow of the day, you name it. His bartenders matched his great attitude and made for a perfect celebration. BOOK HIM you won’t regret it!! If we could do it all over again we’d do it the exact same way.

henomenal! Nikki and the gang made the night so much fun! John was super organized down to every little detail, and he made the whole process seamless. Their whiskey bar package was TOP NOTCH. So many compliments on the bartenders and the drinks they created. Our signature cocktails, a ginger margarita and apple cider bourbon smash were expertly crafted. John even went so far as to find out my favorite bourbon from a local distillery, and have it chilled on ice for my personal cocktails all night long. The little details made working with them all the more special! If you're looking to book a bartending service for your event, then they are the perfect people for the job!

We went with an open bar with beer and wine and we were able to choose local products that helped make our wedding unique. The pricing was reasonable for the hours and number of beers/wines we were able to select. John’s staff that worked our wedding were incredible as well. They were dancing and singing behind the bar, they helped get the party going, and the guests loved them due to their very respectful and timely service! Overall, a great experience and would definitely work with NY Liquid Catering again.

ks were good. John worked well with us to make sure all of the options we wanted were available, and guests really enjoyed the signature drinks. I would definitely recommend New York Liquid Catering for bar service. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for John as a DJ. He was pretty disorganized and had many technical difficulties throughout the night. My husband was not happy that John set up the speakers for the ceremony about 20 minutes prior to our ceremony, and that the music was blasting in his ears the entire time. We had also sent John a list of music we wanted to hear, and well as songs for key moments with specific start and cutoff times for the dances. He had trouble following our instructions, and my husband and I were disappointed that we heard very few of the songs were had asked him to play. A few of our guests also made comments throughout the night about his poor DJ performance. Overall, I would say the bar service is definitely 5/5 and to book them if you need catering for your wedding, but to go with another DJ service if you are considering this one.

rrived I had to call John the owner multiple times to track down his bartender. John was very dismissive and only gave excuses. Finally, I had to get the bartender's number from John and track him down myself. When the bartender arrived they were unprepared and we had to have our guests and the caterers help set up in time. They brought opened bottles of wine with them and were frankly rude and unapologetic. I would highly recommend avoiding this vendor if you do not want more stress on your big day.

y to work with and very prompt to reply... his offerings were a great value and he was extremely willing to work with any of our requests! The bartenders he had at our event were very friendly and we received many compliments from our guests. John had plenty of product supplied for the event and the service went far beyond our expectations. Lastly he was able to decorate our bar area in a way that made it both exciting and elegant. We cannot recommend him and this service enough!

met any vendors before the wedding. John worked with us through the planning process. He was really enjoyable to work with. Very patient and easy going. We also used John as our DJ. It was one of the best choices we made! (We did not think we wanted a DJ). John kept the party going and followed the mood of the crowd. It did not feel like a traditional wedding party. We will be booking John again when we go back home for another event!
