even though the room needed a little maintence it was the perfect size for everyone to come back to after the wedding and have a few drinks

This is the only negative of my wedding experience (which is great). I had 57 guests attend my wedding. All but 12 stayed at NYNY Hotel and Casino - some for just the night of the wedding and other for 5 to 6 nights. My husband and I rented a suite for 4 nights and were extremely disappointed with the accommodations (the first room they put us in smelled terrible and the wallpaper was peeling off the wall and the second room was nicer but not that nice - our suite didn't even have a couch or loveseat in it) and then the "extra" effort just never seemed to be there. I needed my dress pressed. They did so but brought it back with an oil stain on the front (it was not noticeable from a far but was clearly a stain). Their solution was the take the dress back (no dice since I didn't trust them to fix it or bring the dress back in time for my wedding that afternoon) and when I said no they simply said sorry. I had to fight with them - TWICE - to get the charge reversed. Then upon check out me, my brother, and at least 3 friends that I know of, were all charged a higher amount than our reservation was for. They said it was because we called to add/change our reservation at some point so the block rate was affected but that seemed unreasonable to me and took extra time to sort out. Many of the rooms were old and dingy (some were quite nice and updated though) and my brother's TV didn't work and no one was "available" to fix it. Needless to say, I will not be back and was truly shocked by the lack of effort put into making our stay enjoyable and memorable.

LOVED our spa suite with in room whirlpool and the location was great inside the hotel.

The food was fantastic!! Fresh and filling and not over priced. They made everything look like a million bucks. We were very impressed.
