Our flowers were AMAZING! I was so impressed and they were better than I imagined. Lena met with us to discuss our vision for flowers and was able to show us different options and make suggestions. She then sent a proposal with pictures of all of the flowers we had chosen to get an idea of what everything would look like. She was flexible and accommodating for changes we requested along the way. The day of the event, she set up flowers on tables and on our welcome sign and arch.

Lena was an incredible florist. Her prices were fair and she was able to work within my budget. She was very responsive, and the flowers got amazing reviews. Many people said they were the most beautiful bouquets they'd ever seen (I agree). I highly recommend Lena. You won't be disappointed. She was on top of the details and even personally delivered our beautiful flowers. Thank you Lena for all the beauty you added!

Lena was amazing to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process. She was always quick to respond to questions (like usually within an hour) and she even let us add to our order two weeks before our wedding. The flowers were beautiful, she made my wife's bouquet unbelievable. We got so many compliments on the flowers at our wedding. We would recommend her to anyone.

Searching for florists was a nerve-wrecking process, but after meeting Lena everything has become easy. She is the most professional and best florist I've met during my wedding planning process. I would highly recommend her services to other brides for three main reasons. First, she's super responsive to questions throughout the inquiry and preparation process. She proactively thinks for you before you ask. She's the only florist that sent me an initial proposal with flower suggestions and budget estimate before our first meeting, while other florists didn't want to share any information until they met you for an hour. Before the wedding day, she proactively kept me updated of any changes, no matter how trivial it is. It makes me feel confident and well-assured that she'll deliver what I want and will take care of all the details. Second, she's very personable, patient and listens to my request. She didn't impose her ideas on me, but really tried to create the flowers based on what I wanted, even though my descriptions were vague. I really feel that I was working with her together to build the flower arrangements. The end products were amazing and even more beautiful than I could imagine. Last but not the least, she's open to work with your budget, and really cool about the changes you want to make! I have met other florists who had minimum budget to work with (e.g. $2500+) and was not willing to make changes due to budget. Lena is amazing at creating gorgeous flowers from bouquets to centerpieces within your budget. She would propose the flowers for you based on that without compromising the quality. Lena truly is a professional! I highly recommend this florist for any wedding or special event. She is knowledgeable, creative, responsive and accountable. Everything a bride would want. My wedding guests can't stop talking about my beautiful flowers!

Lena at Newbury was a god-send. She was professional and knowledgable in every aspect of the florial planning process. I met with her for about 30 mins and she emailed me a quote WITHIN my budget in under 2 hours. I was almost crying when I saw it. The bid I had received from the florist I was suppose to use down in Portland was over $1500 for the EXACT SAME PACKAGE. Lena's quote UNDER $500! Lena was even able to use tulips and include them in my bouquet within my budget even though they were out of season and expensive! Lena delievered the flowers to the venue before I arrived, helped set up the center pieces and decorated the cake. The bouquets - BREATHTAKING! I cannot express how floored I was at the final product. I almost started crying when I saw them. In the end - I URGE you to contact Lena for your florial needs. She was so easy to work with and make the process so incredibly painless! Absolutely fantastic service and quality from Newbury Bay!

Working with Lena was amazing. She is such a wonderful artist and she really made me feel like I was her only client. She was very patient and took great care with me as a nervous bride at times she was always very sensitive to my frazzled self and was very calming, happy and a wonderful professional to work with. We had to post pone our wedding three times but she stuck by my side. Couldn't ask for a better florist!

Newbury Bay is owned by Lena Shedd, and she previously had a store in downtown Olympia. We loved to visit, had a great experience getting our prom flowers there, and my husband gave me several bouquets from there over the course of our relationship. I had always imagined we would use Newbury Bay for our wedding so when the store closed I was sad. It was a lucky and pleasant surprise that we found Newbury Bay still existed out of Lena's home, and so I set up a consultation and brought my mom and mother-in-law. Lena was game for looking at my Pinterest page of wedding flower ideas, was accommodating in sending cost estimates with flower pictures, making recommendations for flower kinds and how to save money, and was always prompt in her responses. A few weeks before the wedding I contacted Lena to ask if she could incorporate the charm bracelet I had made with my grandma over the years as my something old, and she did a great job. In the end the peonies I wanted were unavailable and Lena had to make some changes but I totally trusted her and the results were great. I loved our bouquets, boutonnieres, and table centerpieces. My bouquet smelled beautiful, I couldn't keep my and my little flower girl's nose out of it. The complimentary tossing bouquet was tossed and happily caught! Our friends and family took home the centerpieces, I know of at least one that still looks good after 2 weeks!! The flowers were delivered in a timely manner, and Lena herself came to check on us. I was very happy and I will insist to my friends and family that they use Newbury Bay for their flowers.

Lena was amazing! My flowers were more beautiful than I could have imagined and I got so much for my budget. Lena promptly replied to any emails and was right on time for delivery on the big day. She took my simple idea and turned it into something simply elegant! Use Newbury Bay, you will not be disappointed!

I've loved Lena's work for years! She did an outstanding job on my wedding. It was truly one of a kind. I gave her a simple idea and she made it so much bigger and better then I could have imagined!

Choosing Lena to be the florist for our wedding was an easy decision. I met with one other local florist, and came away from that meeting frustrated, feeling like my vision for the wedding hadn't been heard and that my flowers were going to look just like the flowers at every other wedding; the price that the other florist offered was also double what Lena was able to offer. When I met with Lena, she offered fresh and unique ideas for my flowers, thinking outside the box to fit into a reasonable budget. I wasn't at all concerned about how the flowers would turn out, and when I saw the flowers on our wedding day, I was blown away by how gorgeous they looked in person.

Lena Shedd was the most amazing florist I met with and did the most amazing job!! She helped me capture the vision I had in my head and turn it into the one thing that got the most compliments!! My bridal bouquet was stunning and I would recommend Newbury Bay to everyone!!!!

Working with Lena for our wedding was absolutely a breeze! We met a few times and I had a rough idea of what colors I wanted in my bouquets and other floral arrangements but she did an AWESOME job recommending types of flowers and I was thrilled with how everything worked out. The one thing that wasn't absolutely perfect was some hydrangeas that we used as pew decorations, then later at the reception on the tables wilted pretty quickly. Other than that, we had absolutely no complaints and would strongly recommend Newbury Bay to anyone!
