We have stayed 4 times now and love it. Great staff. Cold fruit water in the lobby. Bay views. Bay walking trail right below it. Close to freeways and 5 miles from John Wayne. Restaurant is yummy too!

lm street outside took care of everything else, giving us the kind of deep, unbroken sleep that's hard to come by. What surprised us most was how much this place delivered for the price the kind of find you don't forget and absolutely return to.
This place is luxury. Its bed is comfort. The room beautiful and the view amazing. The only reason im not giving it 5 stars is because of the bathroom and parking. Its 45 dollars a day to park your car doesnt come with your stay. The worst part...
the absolute problem was there is no fan in the restroom. You use the facilities and it still smells because there is no fan. We turned on every single switch in the whole room nothing turned on the fan. Second I think in the modern day in any luxury hotel. The establishment should have a bidet. Bidets should be in every restroom. But the best part of this hotel was the food. They had a kitchen. Breakfast was delicious. Whoever is the cook deserves a raise. The bar was great as well. The gym was perfect for when youre on vacation. Cold wet towels, water, and equipment to do any work out. The pool is good. I recommend staying. I also recommend that the marriott put fans in the restroom and bidets. Do something about parking.

There was visible mold and significant water damage on the bathroom ceiling in our room. I reported it to staff during our stay, but nothing was done. After we checked out...
, management claimed there was no mold present, which is simply not true. I have clear photo evidence showing the mold and the water damage.
There was also ongoing water leaking from the hallway ceiling for our entire stay, with obvious signs of continued water damage. It’s concerning that guests are being placed in rooms with these conditions.
On top of that, we were not informed ahead of time that the water would be shut off for part of our stay, which was a major inconvenience.
The mattress on the pull-out couch was filthy. When I brought it to staff’s attention, they attempted to dismiss the issue despite visible staining and clear photos.
What’s most frustrating is not just the condition of the property, but the denial. Even with documentation, staff continued to imply these issues did not exist.
I would strongly encourage management to address the mold and water damage issues seriously before placing other guests in similar conditions.
