Newsboyz

They were amazing DJs and more importantly, amazing band! They rocked it out and had ALL of our guests dancing - and ranting and raving on how great the band was! We had the band plus 3 brass - saxophone, trumpet, and trombone- they made the reception even more fun!

We booked the Newsboyz about 9 months prior to our wedding after scouting them out at a Halloween party in Austin. We were so impressed how they had the crowd dancing all night long that we knew we wanted to book them that night. The band manager was great to work with and helped me plan out our song list. Also, when we were negotiating the contract we made sure to include that if any band member were to leave the band before the wedding date, then the contract was null & void. Well it was a good thing we did that, because the main guy that I really wanted at the wedding left the band to pursue another band. We called the band manager and he ended up getting the guy that left to come back and perform with the Newsboyz for our wedding night. Now that is great customer service!!!!! This band doesn't just sing on stage, they also get out and dance with the crowd. It was awesome!!!!

We used The Newsboyz because we saw them play at a friend's wedding, and they were just as amazing at ours. They played great music, and not just the old stuff you usually hear at weddings. The band members are all really cool, and we had a lot of fun with them. They are really responsive and easy to work with. They helped us with our ceremony music as well. They totally have an Austin-style about them, and I would highly recommend them.

we had the Newsboyz play at our wedding in september and they were absolutely amazing! They played at our friends wedding and kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night and were so fun and energetic i knew when we were looking for music that i would save every penny to have them play at our wedding! thankfully i have an amazing husband that took care of it all and made it happen for us. our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without them. they know all the right songs to play and have such great attitudes and personalities that they keep everyone having a good time. we also had the guitar player play our ceremony music and it was absolutely beautiful. everything i imaged it to be and more! they are easy to work with and talk to and worth every dollar! :) if you have any questions or want to check them out go to their website and see where they are playing locally next... we have seen them twice at Carlos and Charlie's on lake travis~ SO MUCH FUN! I've heard nothing but good things about our wedding and how much fun everyone had and that a live band was so much more fun then just a DJ :)
