These photo prints we took at our friend's wedding were the highest quality and best lit ones we've ever taken at a booth. No cap! I'm not sure what it is with other booths, like whether it's the camera, the printer, the photographer, or even the template, but it's obvious on our fridge next to other photo booth prints from before how gorgeous these pics are. Violet Wu was born in San Francisco, California, and spent most of her adult life in San Jose — the heart of Silicon Valley. She moved to Minnesota in 2012 to be closer to her parents who moved there in 1998. Violet went back to California to attend a wedding and experienced an incredible open concept photo booth that added so much joy and energy to the event. She loved it so much that she felt inspired to bring that same fun, memorable experience to Minnesota — and as the saying goes, the rest is history.

a while it was hard to get a response, but to thank me for sticking with them and to make it right they gifted me an extra hour of services, upgraded my backdrop, a photo album and USB of all of our photos - which was extremely generous.
I think what matters most is the day of services. Violet serviced my wedding, she was there early to set up and was back on time to host the photobooth when cocktail hour started! Everyone loved the photobooth, it looked really great! Violet and her assistant were so friendly and great with directing folks. They had super fun props for people to use (which I didn't know we'd get) and I was super happy with how everything turned out!
I will say, they promised us our link to all the photos, a USB, and photo album and we have not received any of it yet (Our event was on 9.21.24) but I am hopeful that they will remedy this.
This photobooth company was very affordable and gave us A+ service on the day of!

The props used for the booth was fun and had a good amount of variety. The backdrop used was very creative and brighten up the pictures taken.
Photo printouts are staples, but the service also provides the option to have e-copies of the photos! (FB and Instagram sharing made easy)
Violet herself was very helpful during the event. She was friendly to the kids and the parents. She even suggested poses for some groups, which the kids had a blast.
I'd recommend NexGen Photo Booth if you're looking for a fair priced, fun and cute way for your event to have a little more 'pop' to it.

t felt that the ball was dropped on more than one occasion pre and post event. A few of the same excuses about man power and delays from X and Y. I've dealt with plenty of small businesses during this pandemic and usually give the benefit of doubt, but communication delays over weeks shouldn't be happening.
On the day of the event, Violet had the photobooth set up at the venue early for those guests that wanted to get in before the rush (Thank you). What some guests has noticed was the lack of props but we didn't pay too much attention to it as my wife and I were busy throughout reception, but I did follow up with Violet after the event to see what happened. What photobooth is good w/o props? Our wedding landed on Halloween wknd and as she unloaded the props to the venue, it was stolen and we were indirectly blamed for it. We chose to invest in Nexgen photobooth based of the great reviews on the knots and google reviews.
But we were very disappointed at the responses and excuses given by the owner time after time. We were offered a gift from NexGen for the inconvenience back in November 2021 and was warned it will take a while due to the delay in shipping. As of Feb 2022, we still haven't seen the gift as promised. Again, more excuses and empty promises. Book at your own risk.

my photo booth service, I am extremely sorry for your displeasure by our correspondence. I will take full responsibility that I did drop the ball various times when it came to replying and responding to you on a timely manner. When Covid hit, my business like many others in the industry, were greatly affected and one of the main factors that affected my business was having to let go all my employees. In 2021 I had only expected to have only a handful of events but had ended up booking out most of the year. Being left as a one woman show, I took on too much, too fast and was spreading myself out so thin Because of that it had greatly affected my customer service/correspondence and I am truly sorry for that. Not only to you but to all my clients in 2021 and onward. Also, it was truly not my intention to indirectly blame you regarding the props. I was frantic that day when I realized someone had stolen my bag of props off my cart that I needed to find props to replace and not be late for the time of the service, but as how my luck was going, I didn’t have many options. I should have told you that the props were stolen and been up front with you and your fiance. Due to my passive thought process of not wanting to give you any bad news on your wedding day or make you feel bad or responsible for my stolen props, I did not communicate it to you, which in turn left you wondering and disappointed in your viewpoint that I wasn’t prepared with enough props as you were expecting. I apologize for that. As much as I would love to turn back time, I hope that with the compensation I had given you, that I at least made an effort to somehow redeem myself for the lack of props that my business provided. I hope that you would find it in your heart to forgive me for not being up to par with my customer service and for my delayed timing with my correspondence. If you could please check your wife’s account, I had sent compensation through the Venmo account she had used to pay for the photo booth service for the lack of props. Also, as for the promised gifts. I had and still have every intention of keeping my promise on the gifts, but I am truly and sincerely extremely behind editing, printing and sending out packages to all my clients. It will still take some time for me to catch up but please know that you will still receive these items. I appreciate and want to thank you for your honest review. It has truly reminded me, humbled me and taught me many valuable lessons. This is not the kind of standard that I would like for my business or for myself and so I will try my best to work harder to get back to the kind of high-quality customer service that I know I can give and have given in the past and do my best to learn from the experiences that I went through to better myself and my business. Thank you again for your honesty and for expressing how you felt. I will follow up with you as soon as I possibly can regarding the gifted items through email. get married and planned a full blown wedding in 1 month! Violet made my life so much easier. She came in, listened to what I needed and made my vision come to life. She is genuine and truly puts her clients first. I never once felt pressured - in fact, I felt like she was family! She was helping me cut costs wherever I could, find good deals etc. On too of that, her photobooth was a total hit at my wedding! I received so many compliments on the photobooth and the decor. The photobooth is something I didn’t think was necessary before... but totally would recommend to everyone now. Looking back at the pictures after the wedding was a highlight for all of us! with our short timeline as we decided we wanted to add a photobooth last minute. She was fast with communication, designed us the perfect template, and even created a floorplan for the wedding reception. Her team, Rosa and Kimleng, were phenomenal and worked with out backdrop design for the family photos. They were organized, fun, and patient with our huge family. They were attentive to us and asked if we needed breaks. We had so many people asking for their contact info for upcoming events. Violet even followed up with us the next day to make sure everything ran smoothly since she was out of town. I would highly recommend this upcoming photobooth as they were affordable, easy to work with, and had THE BEST props to play with!

booking our photobooth we were able to meet at the Venue to ensure spacing was sufficient for her set up, she designed our 2 template designs we wanted for bride and groom photos but also fun guest photos. Her props were higher quality than others I've experienced. At the end with the package we selected she hand delivered 2 photo albums with all of the photos printed along with the originals on a USB. NexGen recommended for all events and I am so grateful I had them at my wedding and I feel like my guests had a great time too!

She went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted for my big day. She threw in a few extra items, for no additional charge! Honestly, I wouldn't go with anyone else. NexGen went above and beyond. Violet was easy to talk to, responded quickly, and made the planning process stress free. She visited the venue prior to the wedding day to make sure everything went smoothly. She offers a huge selection of backdrop colors too. I chose the gold sequins and it was perfect . I've attended many weddings that had a photo booth, and they did not look as good as NexGen. If you're honestly unsure on a photo booth service, I would seriously consider NexGen. We only met once to went over everything and Violet was able to satisfy all my picky requests within a week. The photobooth was one of the best experiences of the day. Everyone loves the experience and the pictures they got to take home. There were 2 attendances working hard the whole night to keep everything went smoothly. They are super nice, fun, friendly and also professional.
NexGen is the only photobooth in the area that I found great quality and its truly best bang for your buck.
