I’m pleased to provide a glowing review for Next Generation! They did great work at two of my cousins’ weddings, so hiring them for mine was a no-brainer. Throughout the planning process, I found the staff to be super nice, attentive, and helpful. My husband and I both have very eclectic tastes in music, but somehow, Next Generation was able to incorporate all of it in a way that worked. Our DJ was Nick, who was fabulous, and the emcee was Sonny, who was also great. Sonny offered to introduce the bridal party in Italian, which we really appreciated (and he pronounced everything beautifully)! They were able to get pretty much everyone up on the floor to dance, even my father-in-law, who is a perpetual wall flower! At the end of the night, so many guests came up to me and my husband to tell me how much they loved the entertainment. Thank you, Next Generation, for playing a big part in making our wedding memorable and enjoyable for everyone.

Every detail was flawless: the sound & music for the ceremony and reception, professional announcing, the special dances and surprises, the photo slide show and the special effects. The whole room was up and dancing and had a fantastic night. They also perfectly executed the requested music/photos which were sent over much later than anticipated. I highly recommend the entire group and will absolutely be using them again in the future!

Sonny and Rocco had the dance floor packed all night!! It was the best party I’ve ever been too (although I am biased)! There seemed to be connection issues during the ceremony and during different times throughout the reception- including with the sax. When I asked what was happening with the connection during the reception, I was told that it could have been due to boats in the harbor that may be interfering with the connection. We had a few must play songs and about half didn’t play. They also played a Do not play song, that they apologized for in an email after I reached out.
When the connection issues weren’t occurring, the sax was so much fun on the dance floor! I love the interactive nature of the sax being able to be on the dance floor with everyone! I didn’t really hear the percussionist but everyone seemed to enjoy him!
The Photo Booth was good! A nice addition to the guests experience.
Overall, Next Generation was great! A very professional company and every person we dealt with was wonderful! I wish the connection issues were able to be rectified and our must play songs were played; however, despite this we still had an absolutely incredible time!

We also had the percussionist which I highly recommend having a live piece along with the DJ step up. The indoor fireworks were a great wow factor. One thing I cannot stress enough to the next bride reading this is let the Next Generation team do what they do best. Vito was so personable, he came right up to us before our entrance and gave us the run down, telling us exactly where we had to go and how the night would play out. I also provided the team with a list of songs and shout outs I wanted to happen throughout the night, and Vito made sure to hit them all at the most perfect times. We could tell that he’s been doing this forever, and that he is definitely a favorite! He pumped up ALL our guests and kept EVERYONE dancing all night long! We couldn’t have been more grateful! Our DJ Michael was also incredible! I told him that I wanted a mashup of songs and he nailed it! He was great at transitioning from song to song, which made everyone keep dancing and get more and more excited as each song played! ime were the food and the dancing! We had people dancing pretty much the ENTIRE night. Our wedding was on a Sunday, meaning most people were working the next day, but so many people stayed and danced right up to the end!
We had a few requests for Sonny - some songs to definitely play, some songs to definitely not play, etc. and he listened to everything!
There was some confusion in the beginning of our reception about the entrances (completely my fault) and Sonny helped us organize it all a bit better so quickly and there were absolutely no hiccups throughout the whole night! From our entrances, to our first dance, to our parent dances, and all of the dancing and announcements in between - Sonny was amazing.
We also used a photo booth and got sparklers through Sonny and both made our night THAT much better. The sparklers (the ones that shoot off) were a very last minute decision and Sonny helped us get those set up, no problem! When Sonny activated the sparklers for our entrance and at the very end of our last dance, it really wowed our guests and US!
We had guests coming up to us all throughout the night, after it was over, and the next day commenting on how great our DJ was and how much fun they all had dancing! My dream of having a fun wedding where everyone was dancing for a majority of the night came true - all because of Sonny!! Can't thank him or recommend him and his crew enough!!

Sitting down with Sonny and talking about our vision for our big day was so comfortable - he felt like a long time friend and this was the exact vibe we were going for with all our vendors. From that moment on, Sonny made everything super easy for us. We left with a list to fill out and when we next met with Sonny shortly before our wedding, we talked over our likes and dislikes for the music selections and our specific songs. He gave us no pushback on anything nor did he try to steer us in a particular direction. He just offered suggestions when we asked and he was more than happy to play the music we selected. We picked a handful of specific songs and then just gave him examples of the type of music we wanted, and he nailed it! Next Generation knows how to keep a party going! Lastly, a HUGE thank you to Sonny and Next Generation for helping me pull off something I had been thinking about for a long time but only brought to his attention a few days before the wedding. I wanted to record a voiceover on an instrumental of a song in honor of my dad who had passed away, in order to dance with my mom and brother at the wedding. He totally got what I was trying to do and even though I was only able to get a voice recording and pictures to him a few days before the wedding, he pulled off the voiceover exactly how I had pictured it and sent it to me in advance so I could hear it. It was a surprise at the wedding and a highlight for so many people - thanks to Sonny for helping to make it happen!

a photo booth, which worked flawlessly and was so much fun for our guests on the day of our wedding. Vito was an awesome on the day of the wedding and checked in with us on our songs and party’s names, which meant everything to us. He had a great sense of humor, stellar energy, and kindly stuck to our do not play list, which we appreciated. They played a variety of music that got everyone, 20-year-olds to 60-year-olds, dancing. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to have Next Generation at our wedding.

to the ones we didn’t want! Nicky, our DJ, and Marco, our MC, had the dance floor packed from the minute we entered the room to the very last minute of the night. Our guests were RAVING about the music all night and even after our wedding was over! We added the pyros and the “dance on the clouds” which took our ballroom photos to the next level! I highly recommend Next Generation and will be using them for all of my future events!

per helpful, and totally got the vibe we we're going for! We went with the basic package and included uplighting, as I just wanted to keep it simple. Let’s just say, everyone was on the dance floor all night! We received compliments the entire evening, and even days after about the music. My brother in particular loved how we we’re able to dance in between courses, which was exactly what we wanted. We didn’t need to tell Sonny - he just knew! All in all, we we’re so happy, and highly recommend Next Generation. Thank you to Sonny, and his team for helping to make it the best day of our lives!

days prior to the wedding, I was very stressed. After chatting for a bit, I was confident in our DJ choice. We had Vito for our wedding, he was amazing! Prior to our entrances, he came up to the bridal suite to confirm everything which eased some stress of the day. A lot of the songs we had selected wouldn’t normally be requested so we were a bit concerned with how’d they’d mesh with the rest of the music, but every song was played seamlessly into what was going on at that moment. We had a ton of complements on the music selection and everyone danced until they were tired.

al song requests (and kept out the songs we didn’t want to hear!). From start to finish, they were always available to answer my questions and ease my mind as to how the night would go. We booked our photo booth with Next Gen as well, and even in a snowstorm the day of our wedding, they all showed up early and let us know they were preparing to stay overnight if needed so our day would be perfect no matter what! The photo booth attendants did end up staying at our hotel so they didn’t have to shut down the booth early. We couldn’t recommend Next Generation enough. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!

ll night. When we met with him he made us feel like we had known him for years. We told him our music tastes and he stuck to that. Everyone from all different age groups were dancing all night. The whole night and the next day our guest kept asking us "who is your DJ, he is great." His packages are very reasonable as well. I am so happy we picked Next Generation. Our friends are getting married next year and are using Next Generation, I cannot wait to go! Seriously they do the best parties!

ight, Sonny did a fantastic job with the music, in addition to handling the MC duties amazingly, making sure the dance floor was active all night long! Not having to stress about the music enabled us to really take in the entire night and enjoy every second of our wedding, and we know that Sonny and his team at Next Generation had a large hand in that! Beyond the music and photo booth, Sonny even made sure to take the time to come over and ask us how we were doing, something we really were only expecting from the maitre d’ and venue staff, so he really made us feel cared for in all aspects of our night. Our sincerest gratitude and thanks for a job well done and an amazing wedding day/night!
