on in the summer and elopement coverage in December, Neysha was an absolute dream. She was so flexible when COVID and family emergencies altered our timeline, and I am forever grateful. Our photos are so dreamy and perfect. She made sure to capture our low-key elopement with a million-dollar wedding attitude and the final gallery proves it. She paid attention to all the details and made sure to capture my specific photo request of my dress toss with the mountains in the background. Neysha is kind, sweet, authentic, and so caring. I love her generous attitude. She made me feel so important and loved - exactly what every bride needs on her big day! I can't recommend her enough. We say this to show that she is not only transparent about her availability but very flexible, too. After we found her website and Instagram online, we decided to reach out and connect. From then, she offered a Zoom call, which was useful to have, and also a personal touch. Meeting the photographer before committing to any photography session, even if virtually, was a great first impression. This allowed each party to ask questions and cover any concerns ranging from price, to location, to timing of the session, and the process thereon after. The photography contract was also well-thought out, and answered any lingering questions we had. As for the photography session itself, she provided us loads of tips of tricks prior to taking photos (with articles and resources), but also during the photo shoot to capture our story in the best way possible. She listened to our ideas, and made us comfortable. It felt as if we had a photoshoot with a long-time friend for fun. And that it was — super fun. Plus, Neysha knew all the hidden gems to take photos at, and all the ways in which we should pose. She experimented with lots of ideas, and even got on the muddy floor (yes after it had rained all morning), to take a photo of our rings. And it came out stunning! She had a vision, stuck to it, and helped make this photoshoot a dream come true. It was truly a special way to spend a Saturday in DC and Old Town, Alexandria. To top it off, the photos are spectacular. They are super elegant and beautiful. The touch-ups are just enough, and we are incredibly grateful. We came out of the photo session thrilled, and couldn’t wait to see more. And we didn’t have to wait long at all… Neysha quickly turned around several photos to give us a sneak peek, added a handful to her Instagram, and posted some to her Instagram Story — all in less than 24 hours. We were pleasantly surprised and grateful beyond words. As a sidebar: My fiancé, Joseph, doesn’t typically like taking photos (especially for so long, and that session was 3 plus hours, including travel time), and he had a GREAT time. I know because he kept telling me, and all I could do was smile. That being said, we cannot thank Neysha enough for being a part of our wedding planning journey. These photos are timeless, and the memories will last a lifetime. It was a pleasure to work with her, get to know her better, and connect even amid a pandemic. You are the best, Neysha!
