Shelly officiated my wedding yesterday. I was hesitant at first to have someone I didn’t know officiate my wedding but I am so glad I did!! I chose her love story package. She asks detailed questions to get to know you and then writes up the most amazing heartfelt ceremony as if she’s knows you for years! She made us feel so comfortable during the ceremony and took care of everything and walked us through what to do and say. I highly recommend Shelly!! Shelly officiated our June 2024 wedding at Zorvino Vineyards and we couldn’t be happier! We chose the Love Story package and it made our ceremony so personal and special. Multiple people came up to us after the ceremony and asked how we knew Shelly - they were shocked to hear that we didn’t know Shelly personally prior to officiating our wedding because of how personal the ceremony felt. We also incorporated a reader and a unity candle ceremony and Shelly did a beautiful job weaving everything in. She thinks of every detail - like asking what the wedding party is wearing so she can plan her outfit accordingly, or moving to the side during the first kiss. Shelly was so kind and professional. We highly recommend her services!

Shelly is a true professional and we are so happy we chose her for our wedding! She guided through different options she has to find the best ceremony option to fit us. She sent us drafts of the ceremony and accepted any changes we wanted to make. She followed up several times to confirm we are still good with the plan and ask if there is anything that changed. She even offered suggestions about things not to forget. On our wedding day she arrived at exactly the time she said she would, was dressed extremely nicely and gave the best ceremony. Us as well as our guests commented on her nice calm demeanor, and the ceremony she wrote as it was beautiful and resonated with us all. Shelly was wonderful to work with! she was very professional and easy to talk to. Any questions we had she would always answer within 24 hours! She is very knowledgeable and any question we had she was more then willing to answer them or if we wanted to change anything that we could just reach out to her and she would update the ceremony draft. When the day of the wedding came she came up to the bridal suite and she looked at the marriage certificate to make sure that it was correct and then she went to go and find my husband and say hello to him. The shuttle bus that we had arrived late to the venue which made the ceremony start late but you would of never known that because she took her time and didn't make anything feel rushed. She spoke clearly when we did the repeat after me. She made sure to say every word very clear so we could say it back. I would highly recommend Shelly for your wedding!

Shelly is not only an awesome JP but she is an amazing person! She made our ceremony so unique to us and added in some fun surprises for the guests. Her and I discussed and perfected doing a "social media moment" for everyone to take a few moments to take a picture of my husband and I but then kindly put their phones away. She made sure our ceremony was exactly how we wanted, changing little things whenever I asked and giving me ideas when I wasn't sure what I wanted to do exactly. A lot of my guests said they really loved the ceremony and made sure to tell me how beautiful it was. I couldn't be happier with choosing Shelly to be our JOP for our wedding ceremony. She is kind, attentive, and so easy to work with. With only one call and a few e-mails, Shelly was able to draft up a reading and vows that fit us perfectly without sounding generic. She sends this draft well in advance for you to look at in case there are any changes that you would like to be done. What makes Shelly a true all star is that she was able stand and execute our entire ceremony with an ankle injury without her crutches!

Shelly was amazing from start to end! She put so much detail and thought into our ceremony. Both my husband and I are not big on being the center of attention so we wanted our ceremony to be short and sweet and shelly delivered! Her communication through the entire process was impeccable. She sent us a draft to review and made any changes we had requested for. Month of the wedding she sent us the copy to review again to verify that it was still what we wanted! Day of, she delivered the ceremony so beautifully, it could not have been more perfect!

Shelly officiated our October 16th, 2021 wedding and she was absolutely fantastic. She was the one and only wedding officiant that we interviewed with! Shelly officiated our wedding on May 22, 2021 and she was fantastic. We did a zoom call first, and honestly she was was the first and only officiant we interviewed. We immediately felt secure that Shelly would accurately convey our love for each other to our wedding guests. We then opted to fill out a Simply Sweet questionnaire (6 questions) for her to get to know us and our relationship. Let me tell you…the ceremony she wrote for us was nothing short of incredible. I cried…then I reread it and I cried some more (all happy tears). She recommended a sand ceremony for my husband, 2 y/o daughter and me. Shelly read a beautiful reading during the unity pouring. In a nutshell, Shelly has a gift and utilizes it well. She is sweet, passionate and patient…yet organized, punctual and honest. A perfect balance. Shelly was absolutely phenomenal! When we found out our friend (who was supposed to be the JP for our wedding) was going away for training, we were on the hunt to find a replacement. Shelly exceeded our expectations! Our original wedding was 4/24/2020, but thanks to COVID, we had to postpone (first on 7/10/2020 and then 4/23/2021). Shelly was beyond accommodating for each postponement we were forced to make. She was in constant communication with us throughout our entire planning process.
