tographs so special was how she captured all of the small moments that weren't posed or planned. The smiles on the dance floor, the faces of guests as we walked down the aisle, and everything in between. She did both digital and film for us, and she is highly skilled in both mediums, with such a natural and authentic style.
From the first email she sent us, all the way through the sneak peek she sent us, Nia was authentic, accommodating, kind, and made our wedding day extremely special.
Nia did both our engagement shoot, as well as our wedding, and she listened and learned about who we were as a couple, and what was important to us when capturing us and our special day. We love being outside, and so Nia traveled to meet us in Washington, and hiked to a special spot in Mt. Baker Wilderness where we took our engagement photos. Then, before our wedding day, Nia scoped out our venue and made sure that she captured where and when the lighting would be best across different spots around the venue. Day of, we were ahead of schedule and Nia made sure that we had a seamless experience from start to end.
I will always hire Nia for any professional photos in the future. She is incredible and I am so grateful for all she did to make our wedding extra special!

s so friendly, calm, and easy to work with—it truly felt like spending the day with a friend who just happens to be an amazing photographer. Our original photography plan had to pivot due to high winds, and she quickly thought on her feet and captured the most stunning images.
Our photos turned out beautifully—we’ve already received so many compliments from family and friends about how stunning they are. Nia captured every moment so naturally and effortlessly. For our engagement session, Nia even took time out of her personal trip to Colorado (where we lived at the time) to meet us for photos so we could document that chapter of our story. That extra effort meant so much to us.
On our wedding day, she was the ultimate hype woman—calm, upbeat, organized, and smiling the entire time. She kept us relaxed, made the process feel natural, and helped us stay present in the moment. Our guests adored her, and her positive energy made us feel like we had a trusted friend behind the camera, not just a photographer.

that Nia was the absolute best choice we could have made for our photographer. She made us feel extremely comfortable and was so creative with all her shot ideas and how to get the best out of us. Prior to our wedding day, Nia was extremely organized and made sure to get on calls with us to organize the whole wedding day timeline. She helped come up with the best timeline possible to get all the shots we needed without feeling rushed. During the wedding, Nia was incredible. She has the best personality and is so easy to be around. When I was nervous and stressed, pre ceremony, she helped me relax and explained how she wanted me to pose when I started to freeze up. She was thorough and took every photo request that we had. We got our sneak peeks back a few days after the wedding and are in absolute awe. Nia has a true talent of capturing love and happiness. She sees things that the normal eye doesn’t. My husband and I are beyond grateful for her and so happy we chose her to be apart of our special day. She completely rolled with all of our decisions, like to keep the ceremony outdoors despite the rain, and was so easy-going in the midst of changing plans. Her photos ended up being beyond what we could have imagined. She captured small, intimate moments that we didn’t even notice until looking at the pictures. Even just the sneak peaks truly told the story of the day, which was exactly what we were looking for in a photographer. style was a perfect match for the vibe we were going for! On the wedding day, Nia was so great at helping me (the bride) stay calm and keep us on schedule. She recognized when we needed to pivot and we had a great time exploring and taking photos with her! When we received our photos, we were absolutely blown away. Although we missed some of the family portraits we had requested in the chaos of the day, Nia went above and beyond to try to rectify the issue. You will not regret working with Nia!
