Let's be honest: when it comes to booking a makeup artist for a wedding, most brides find the task rather daunting. There are so many options so who should you choose? Besides choosing someone whose work is amazing, you also have to consider the experience --- there is a lot that goes into creating the best makeup look and it starts wayyyy before your wedding day.
As a makeup artist, it is my responsibility to create a stress-free experience for my brides as well as create the ultimate bridal look that only YOU can wear so you will be ready to say "I DO". Whether your wedding is local or destination, I love to travel and will be ready and willing to travel to you. I also offer Bridal Previews (or trials) where we work together to bring to life your bridal vision -- trust me you'll feel much more confident if you know what you will look like before your wedding day arrives!
I offer bridal services and packages but ultimately the most important thing to me is to provide my brides a LUXURY experience. rtly after I hired her, she sent over the contract and set up a Pinterest for me to add all my inspo pics to. She also scheduled a preview appointment with me so we could work out color palates, styling preferences, and just get to know one another. The day of was great! Since we did a trial run, Nia was able to hop right in on my makeup and create the look we’d talked about at the preview and in subsequent emails. The best thing in my opinion is her pre-care routine. She puts eye masks, a face mask, and uses a lip scrub prior to putting any makeup on your face. This made me feel really comfortable as she’s caring for your skin before any product goes on. Overall, Nia was always early, prepared, friendly, and knowledgeable. I’d highly recommend her for any one needing to pull off the perfect look for an event, but especially for Black clients as she knows what works for us.
