We're a team of four ordained reverends — Rev. Brendon Nye, Rev. Christopher Nye, Rev. Robert Carnrike, and Rev. Ryan Carnrike — serving the U.S. side of the Falls and the Buffalo area. That's different from most officiants from the first message: you're not getting one person and hoping they're free on your date; you're getting a small team, and whichever of us your date lands with, the care is identical.
What truly sets us apart is what the whole team does together. We're not just officiants — we also plan. One team writes your ceremony from scratch around your story (vows, readings, unity rituals, family moments), coordinates the day (timelines, vendors, catering, even the DJ), and can build you a matching couples' website. Two reverends in the family came to planning from the officiating pulpit, so the day feels coherent because the same people who wrote your words are running the schedule.
Local expertise is baked in. We know the parking at the Falls, the parks that need permits, the mist angle at golden hour, and the venues (bandits, wineries, barns, waterfront) that actually make Western New York couples happy — and we handle the permit and license details so nothing feels like homework.
Finally, we welcome every couple, full stop. We perform all marriages recognized in New York, and we tailor the ceremony to your traditions — or to none at all. "New York celebrates love — so do we."
