We were given DJ Craig Aaron, who maintained the same level of professionalism. He took time to make several calls so he could understand our vision clearly. For the wedding, we allowed him to choose most of the music, and it turned out great! He has a natural ability to read the room and vibes, and progressively increase to a full blown dance party. He engaged with everyone and made the evening unforgettable for all our guests and taking requests as they came! He is an incredible DJ, and we are really glad he was part of our special day!

After the wedding day, my husband and I feel we have a civic responsibility to warn others who are searching. In summary, they are incredible at sales and will say anything to get your money. In retrospect, I wish I went with the music vendors my venue recommended! But they got me with their advertising. They will show up to your wedding, but not know anything that was spoken about before. You get 2 planning meetings which are great - very detailed (song choices, vibe etc) - but on the actual day of the wedding it’s like we never spoke. We were asked for specific playlists on Spotify they would play, we sent them - we had to get our best man to have him change the music because he forgot that we sent them to him and had to pull up our group text to show him. While I was privately getting bustled with my husband, our DJ found us to ask what our first dance song was etc. So many more issues - we trust our vendors to do what we ask them to, because the wedding is such a whirlwind, that we have to trust. They have no attention to detail, don't take notes of what you are looking for, and then are very defensive when you try to offer feedback (which they ask for). Terrible!! So many great options in the ATL area for DJs/Bands. I wish I would have listened to my venue!

I found Nice Entertainment through a Google search for “Atlanta DJ and Saxophone Entertainment.” In March 2024, approximately 18 months before our New Year’s Eve 2025 wedding, I submitted an online inquiry and was immediately impressed by the owner’s responsiveness. Hans, the owner, called me promptly—even while on vacation at Disney World with his family—which gave me the impression that he was highly dedicated and attentive. During that initial conversation, I explained that we were specifically seeking a DJ who was highly experienced with EDM, house, and dance music, as that was the central vibe of our New Year’s Eve celebration. Hans assured me that his DJs would be “fighting over this wedding,” stating that this genre of music was what inspired many of them to become DJs in the first place. Fifteen months later, we were introduced to our assigned DJ, Chris. While Chris was professional and kind, it quickly became clear that he had little to no familiarity with the electronic music scene and was unable to name any relevant DJs or artists. This was not his fault—he simply had different musical preferences. However, Nice Entertainment’s website states that couples may request a different DJ “no questions asked” following their consultation. Based on that promise, I attempted to contact Hans via text, phone, and email to request a reassignment. Despite multiple follow-ups, it took over two weeks to receive a response. When Hans eventually returned my call, he informed me that Chris was our only option. At that point, my fiancé and I decided to make the best of the situation & created a Spotify playlist of 70+ songs to ensure the music reflected our vision. This required a significant amount of time and effort but ultimately paid off. Chris did an great job playing our playlist and hosting the night. It's worth noting that we booked Nice Entertainment’s most expensive offering, the A-Town Package. This package included a violinist and cellist for the ceremony, who were professional and competent, though the music selection was limited to traditional classical pieces—couples hoping for more modern music or Bridgerton vibes should temper expectations. The cocktail hour guitarist was unfortunately the weakest part of the evening. We heard him begin playing while we were taking photos and immediately asked our planner to stop the performance and dismiss him, as it was, quite frankly, embarrassing. The reception also included a saxophonist and percussionist, both of whom performed well and were a fun addition alongside the DJ. The package further included a photo booth, uplighting, glow sticks, and a custom gobo. Overall, the package offered good value, and the party itself was great—but that outcome was largely due to the extensive effort we put into curating every song that was played. When planning a 150-person wedding on a major holiday, this level of involvement is the last thing couples should have to worry about, even if the end result is successful. Lastly, in early December, I contacted Hans again with questions regarding submitting our custom gobo and coordinating introductions with the musicians. Once again, it took over two weeks to receive a response.
