d be when the day finally came. Hans seemed personable and had great energy. We signed a contract for the DJ, photo booth, etc. then we are assigned a DJ and told how to use the portal. That in itself was disappointing. They have this huge selection of music yet none of the songs we wanted were apart of that. We had to ask the DJ 3 times to meet with us, he then says create a playlist on Spotify and I’ll just use that. Umm what am I paying you for? Then the really bad part comes. We get back from the honeymoon and I contact them about the photo booth pictures. Oh I’m so sorry I’ll get those right over. Let me give you $100 for delay. Then nothing. Reached out again and he told me the IPad was dead but he was going to an event. Then nothing. He calls finally and blames EVERYONE...guest, us, venue, etc but never takes responsibility. This has never happened before (LIE read other reviews) He then tells us he will call the companies IT department and see what he can find out. Never hear back. My husband gets involved. Gives him the same run around and never follows up. Finally we call so angry and sad...just so heartbreaking knowing all those pictures are gone. A moment I will never get back. Most of us hadn’t seen each other in over a year! Even in his video sales pitch Hans talks about all the pics your photographer wouldn’t get. We spent so much time in the booth I’m afraid that took away from the photographer. Our guest book was supposed to be the photos from the booth. We had planned to do Polaroids but went with the booth instead. ALL THOSE PICTURES ARE GONE. His final response was not an apology and not taking responsibility but said “what do you want me to do? I’m a small business and already paid my DJ. It’s not worth more than a hundred dollars.” Well HANS it’s priceless to me you incentive unprofessional beeeeep. Then I do more digging and find out this happens to this company often. Do your research and know that you can’t rely on them. I would seriously think twice before spending one dime with this company. I know I have nothing but regret.

I know you had an expectation of having fun photo booth pictures, and we dropped the ball. We have ran this same photo booth thousands of times and it's literally failed 3 times - which we have given a refund for the photo booth.

Nice Entertainment also has a client portal that allows you to select songs for a "Must Play" "Play If You Can" "Only Play If Requested" and "Do Not Play" that allow for customization so you don't have to hear those pesky, corny songs on your special day. Ian worked well with the rest of our vendors and planners in order to coordinate all of the day-of set-up and audio. He also listened to all of our requests regarding energy of the party beforehand and was even willing to give great suggestions of flow. His energy was incredible throughout the entire reception keeping the dance floor full of people the whole time. We also sprung for the DJ Photo Booth which allowed our guests to enjoy themselves taking photos and us to see them later in gif form afterward. e Client Portal that Nice Entertainment provides is a helpful tool to organize all of the songs and requests that you have for your day. Our ceremony and cocktail hour were seamless and fun. Hans has great energy and kept the night moving. Some of the songs that were listed on our must play list were not played, and at times the reception and dancing felt quite rushed. Several notes that we made with details, song order etc were skipped over and not referred to. We also requested that very little rap music be played, and ended up with half of our reception having rap music. All in all Nice Entertainment was a great value for what we played, and we appreciated their efforts.

0 DJs during our initial research for our wedding. These good people stood out above all the rest. We had a conversation with the CEO to begin the process which was fun and helped us hone in on what we were looking for. No hard selling, just professional consultation.
From there we were assigned Jon as our DJ who was just so amazing. We had several phone conversations before the event and just like Hans, Jon was an absolute pro. He made the planning process painless, helped steer us in the right direction and really sculpted out what we wanted for our wedding. They utilize an online portal that makes it easy to select songs for different moments at your events, "must plays", and "no plays."
So, on to the event itself... I went to 11 weddings in the last year and Jon absolutely blew all the other DJs out of the water. Absolutely flawless execution during the ceremony between timing songs and rigging up mics for everyone. Honestly, even I, the groom, got confused at some of the song orders even though I wrote the list, but Jon kept it on point perfectly haha.
The reception was so so so so much fun because of Jon. He was cracking jokes, getting people involved, making sure everyone (young and old) was having a great time. Now, if you want a more low key DJ experience, he can do that too! But we asked him to bring the heat and he definitely did. He curated a perfect playlist, his mixing skills were absolutely seamless, and everyone was getting down on the dance floor. He took some suggestions from us, but also made it his own with his years of experience. I had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Photo booth was a huge hit and well worth the price. Sound was perfect, lights were perfect.

As we got closer to the wedding, they had us complete a wedding questionnaire and touch base with the DJ again to ensure we were all on the same page. I really liked this. We also used Nice for our photobooth, so we had some questions to go over on that as well. Jeremiah was punctual and had everything ready on time. The photobooth was not in the right space, but I am not sure if that was his fault or our venue's. Not a big deal though. Everything was good during the ceremony and cocktail hour. We just had a couple of issues once dinner and the reception got started. One issue was that the DJ took a long time to eat his dinner- one thing we stressed was we wanted to get into the party mode pretty quickly and I felt the DJ was taking too long in eating dinner and talking to his assistant. I had to ask our coordinator to go and get him so we could do toasts and everything. Next issue was he let songs play too long. I was expecting songs to fade into each other and have a fun - clubby vibe, but it felt more like he just let each song play and then transition to the next song. He did play all of our must plays, I just wished he would have mixed a bit more. Last, there seemed to be an error in his mixing at the end of the event, so I wasn't thrilled about the noise from that. Overall, a good experience and easy to work with- just a couple of hiccups.

Trust me, post-wedding there is so much you have to do, the last thing you want to be doing is tracking down your MIA DJ.

rtunately, the wifi signal was weak at the venue and when we connected to wifi later, the pictures did not automatically send. We have found a solution to make sure this never happens again. What concerns me the most is, you should have received a refund for the photo booth. I will call you today.

We hand picked the songs for our ceremony and Norm gave us recommendations and learned any songs that were must plays for us. When Hans says he reads the crowd, HE REALLY DOES! Christian was our DJ. Coordinating with him throughout the planning process was super easy. We had a non-traditional wedding with a few special ceremonies, and Christian did such a great job introducing and describing them for our guests.
Our favorite thing about Christian was how much fun he had with us the entire night. Every time we looked over at him he was dancing and enjoying the music. We chose numerous songs for the playlist and he perfectly carried over from our choices with great songs to keep the dance floor rocking the entire night. Many of our guests commented on how great the music was, and how much fun it was when Christian came out and led everyone in the Cupid Shuffle.

the photbooth was great as well. And I assume our videography was great before it was deleted. As a newlywed couple anxious to see everything from the wedding we were extremely disappointed after hearing our wedding footage was deleted. Shortly after the wedding we received an email saying they were waiting on usb drives to come in and then they would send the footage. Months go by never get anything so we check with them and were told it was sent but in reality they could provide no proof it was. The whole situation was handled extremely poorly and before deleting our footage someone should have made sure it was copied and sent to us. We were then insulted with an offer of $100.00 refund. That’s when I became involved and talked to Hans personally and he said they would take the hard drive to geek squad to have it recovered.. again months go by and I received a video via text with an update that my files were retrieved but would not open and they were still working on it. Well June 2nd 2018 our year anniversary comes around and I’m kinda curious what the status is so I texted Hans and got a reply basically that he forgot all about it and would look into the next day.. I’ve sent a couple emails since then and have heard nothing back. I feel like the whole situation was handled very poorly and I would recommend anyone looking to do business with nice entertainment to keep in mind how our wedding footage was so carelessly handled.
Update... I received an apologetic email the day after leaving some reviews and the wedding footage is unrecoverable. Nothing was offered. Also found out that 9 other weddings wedding footage was deleted as well

Just to confirm; DJ was great, photo booth was great, and videography highlight film was great.
Where we dropped the ball, and I take full responsibility, was… when we mailed the raw footage to you, the raw footage was not received. Our videographer deleted the raw footage from his external hard drive thinking the job had been completed. A month later, you let us know you never received the raw footage - which completely shocked us and broke our hearts. We took this matter seriously and sent the hard drive to several data recovery centers to see if we could recover the files. This process took several months. Once we determined the raw footage could not be recovered, we gave you a full refund of the videography service. I’m deeply sorry we lost the raw footage.

Our DJ was Jon Robinson but throughout the process we worked with Hans and Christian and they were professional, reasonable, had great communication and planning, and we highly recommend working with them and would easily choose them again. We had the mansion package which had a nice combination of both elements of a DJ but also live instruments, esp the congos and sax which was not only fun but a small nod to our Miami roots. Our day was probably a complicated one as far as DJ planning goes (half outdoor/half indoor, rained mins before our ceremony, we changed order of our wedding all last min — and you can imagine this has downstream impact changes for the DJ) but Jon was with us the whole way to support us, to be the lead that guides us through the reception and fun times, and to share his experience and recommendations. Jon was literally with our wedding party waiting on the rain and helping us to brainstorm and think outside the box to make our day epic. And it was truly great. The only thing we’d change (which is minor) is if we had to do it again we’d probably pass on the photo booth which is understandable because I don’t imagine this to be their primary service line. Because of this, we were confused as to why he was asking some of the questions that we had already answered on the portal. He did not seem prepared for our phone meeting, but we took the time to go over everything again with him and because we had been so detailed on the online system, we hoped it would all be as we desired for our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, he somehow still did not have some of the information that we put on the portal, including our ceremony exit song or the order of introductions for our bridal party, even though these had been entered into the system weeks prior and we had gone over it during our phone meeting. This was the only vendor that brought stress on my wedding day, asking questions I had already answered and waiting until the last minute to figure things out. My day of coordinator had to step in to offer a good amount of guidance. Ultimately I was glad that I provided my coordinator with all of the same information I gave the DJ both on the phone and in the portal because that way she had it and was able to help with the DJ so I could focus on the day. Additionally, I did not hear many of our "must plays" and instead heard a lot of popular music which we specifically indicated was not our style and was not desired during our wedding. I felt like our phone conversation and time entering songs and information into the portal was a waste of time as in the end nothing that we said seemed to be documented. Overall, I was left feeling somewhat disappointed and wished we had been assigned a DJ that was more organized, experienced, and accommodating to what we wanted.

nformation in our client portal - sometimes what is entered in the portal 6 months before the wedding changes by the actual wedding date. We see this often. So during the call, we just want to confirm this is still what you would like. We possibly should have explained better. For this, I’m sorry it caused you stress.
As far as the “must play” songs go… Unfortunately, there are only so many songs that can be played during the dance portion of the night. The popular songs you mentioned were played because we were getting a good response from the crowd. We never played songs that were on your “do not play” list. Also, we encourage brides and grooms to come up to the DJ booth and tell us if we’re not headed in the right direction with the music. For example, we would’ve given you a high-five and played the songs we weren’t as familiar with like.. Camera Obscura, Bombay Bicycle Club, Good Old War, & Vampire Weekend.
In the end, it was your wedding and we dropped the ball on providing and experience exactly how you wanted it. I’m so very sorry.

The guests kept telling us that our playlist was awesome and we had to tell them it was all the DJ! We only gave a few songs and a couple bands, the rest was all him.

While I was at our venue a month before the wedding, he stopped by to meet us in person and see what our vision was for the big day. He lived close by and I had only told him the time of the meeting the evening before so it was so sweet of him to take the time (especially on such short notice) to see us at the venue and get a sense of what our wedding day was going to be like. Visit or no visit, I had full faith in Jeremiah and his team but he really went above and beyond and we really appreciated that! And since he had just gotten married himself, he had some great advice for us. It was like chatting with a friend. Look no further, these are the guys you need at your wedding! ifferent phases of the wedding. We were a difficult bride/groom to work with because the groom was deployed twice during our wedding planning. The second time was unforeseen and I had a difficult time planning and choosing songs with out my groom. I was never prepared for our meetings with Hans. Hans was great. He never showed any frustration and gave so many suggestions for us. When it came down to the wedding day, the only thing I could tell Hans was to just make everyone happy and want to dance....and he did just that!!! I cannot thank Hans enough for dealing with me and my lack of communication for our wedding. Everyone loved him! He was energetic, entertaining and was just having a great time with our guests. Hans was also great with working with cues and eye contact. During the special dances, I gave him eye contact because I was ready to move on and he slowly faded out the song so it wasn't a long 5 minutes. This was AWESOME! Until you are up there dancing in front of everyone, you do not realize how long the dances really are! We also booked a photo booth through Nice Entertainment and it was another highlight for our guests. It was never empty! The props were so much fun and having that little photo as a take away was the highlight of breakfast the next morning! Wether you are very hands on with your song selection or need someone to just make it perfect for you, Nice Entertainment is a great choice for you!
