Nice Entertainment: Award Winning DJ Service

make an informed decision and encouraging improvements to the Nice Entertainment experience. I found Nice Entertainment through a Google search for “Atlanta DJ and Saxophone Entertainment.” In March 2024, approximately 18 months before our New Year’s Eve 2025 wedding, I submitted an online inquiry and was immediately impressed by the owner’s responsiveness. Hans, the owner, called me promptly—even while on vacation at Disney World with his family—which gave me the impression that he was highly dedicated and attentive. During that initial conversation, I explained that we were specifically seeking a DJ who was highly experienced with EDM, house, and dance music, as that was the central vibe of our New Year’s Eve celebration. Hans assured me that his DJs would be “fighting over this wedding,” stating that this genre of music was what inspired many of them to become DJs in the first place. Fifteen months later, we were introduced to our assigned DJ, Chris. While Chris was professional and kind, it quickly became clear that he had little to no familiarity with the electronic music scene and was unable to name any relevant DJs or artists. This was not his fault—he simply had different musical preferences. However, Nice Entertainment’s website states that couples may request a different DJ “no questions asked” following their consultation. Based on that promise, I attempted to contact Hans via text, phone, and email to request a reassignment. Despite multiple follow-ups, it took over two weeks to receive a response. When Hans eventually returned my call, he informed me that Chris was our only option. At that point, my fiancé and I decided to make the best of the situation & created a Spotify playlist of 70+ songs to ensure the music reflected our vision. This required a significant amount of time and effort but ultimately paid off. Chris did an great job playing our playlist and hosting the night. It's worth noting that we booked Nice Entertainment’s most expensive offering, the A-Town Package. This package included a violinist and cellist for the ceremony, who were professional and competent, though the music selection was limited to traditional classical pieces—couples hoping for more modern music or Bridgerton vibes should temper expectations. The cocktail hour guitarist was unfortunately the weakest part of the evening. We heard him begin playing while we were taking photos and immediately asked our planner to stop the performance and dismiss him, as it was, quite frankly, embarrassing. The reception also included a saxophonist and percussionist, both of whom performed well and were a fun addition alongside the DJ. The package further included a photo booth, uplighting, glow sticks, and a custom gobo. Overall, the package offered good value, and the party itself was great—but that outcome was largely due to the extensive effort we put into curating every song that was played. When planning a 150-person wedding on a major holiday, this level of involvement is the last thing couples should have to worry about, even if the end result is successful. Lastly, in early December, I contacted Hans again with questions regarding submitting our custom gobo and coordinating introductions with the musicians. Once again, it took over two weeks to receive a response.

ckage that offered great value and flexibility. Our DJ was fantastic—he brought great energy to the event, was extremely accommodating to our requests, and helped create a fun, lively atmosphere that our guests truly enjoyed. He did a wonderful job reading the room and keeping the celebration flowing smoothly. We chose a package that included a saxophone player, a cellist, and some additional decorative elements. While these were nice touches, looking back we’re not sure all of the extras were entirely necessary for our event. That said, one add-on we would absolutely recommend is the photo booth—it was a huge hit with our guests! We loved seeing everyone have fun with it, and the photo gallery we received afterward is full of amazing, memorable moments with our friends and family. Overall, Nice Entertainment delivered a fun, professional experience, and we would definitely recommend them to couples looking for a responsive team and great energy on their wedding day!

or the wedding ceremony itself. Answered questions, gave recommendations, and helped whenever we asked. If you are looking for an amazing wedding DJ, Nice Entertainment definitely has you covered! Highly recommend!

ng sure my husband and I were having a good time. He was a fantastic emcee as well. I feel like we really got our money's worth out of the experience. I would definitely recommend Nice Entertainment for any event!

re organized, thorough, and committed to making your event an exceptional experience. Our DJ, Jon R., went above and beyond. We knew we could count on him to play the ceremony and reception songs we requested, but he instinctively kept the music seamless and joyful for the entire evening. Our guests loved him and have repeatedly told us that they “had such a fun time on the dance floor!!!” So glad we chose DJ Jon and the Nice Guys for the most memorable day of our lives!

ations and made sure everything ran smoothly. Stephen was kind, professional, and incredibly easy to work with. He took the time to understand exactly what we wanted for our big day, and it was clear from the start that he genuinely cared about making our experience amazing. He was also incredibly relatable, and it felt like he was a friend we’d known for years. Throughout the planning process and on the day of the wedding, Stephen was always responsive, flexible, and happy to offer helpful suggestions. One of the highlights of our experience was the beautiful live music provided by Nice Entertainment. They went above and beyond by offering a cellist and violinist during our ceremony, which set such a romantic and elegant tone. The music was absolutely perfect and made our ceremony even more special. Then, during the reception, the vibe shifted seamlessly as they added a saxophonist and drummer, creating an amazing atmosphere that had everyone on their feet and dancing. It was a perfect combination of live and DJ music that kept the energy high all night long. They even let my husband play the drums!!!! He loved it! Stephen also handled an unexpected situation like a pro. Halfway through the reception, we had to move everything indoors due to freezing cold weather, and Stephen didn’t miss a beat! He quickly adapted to the change, moved all the equipment flawlessly, and kept the party going without a hitch. We didn’t even notice the transition—it was seamless, and the dance floor stayed packed with guests having the time of their lives. From start to finish, Stephen and the entire team at Nice Entertainment were incredible. They helped us create the perfect atmosphere for both our ceremony and reception, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their hard work and dedication. If you want a DJ who is professional, talented, and truly invested in making your day unforgettable, look no further than Nice Entertainment. Highly recommend! These guys are professional!!!

nds at ease on our conference call. He played everything we wanted, and made sure everyone had a great time. I can’t say enough great things about Stephen. It was a wonderful day!

Stephen, was SO professional and on top of things. We loved the client portal where we could enter "must plays" and "do not plays". Our musicians (cellist and saxophone) were incredible as well. The number one comment we got from our guests was that the dance floor energy was unmatched! Stephen did an amazing job navigating the flow of the night. Our crowd loves an emo pop punk moment and he DELIVERED. I can't recommend Nice Entertainment enough!

esponsive. Our DJ basically turned our reception into the most fun dance party and kept the dance floor full all night. We warned him that both of our family and friends on both sides love to dance and were expecting a FUN night, and he sure did deliver. Thank you to DJ Nick Alexander and Nice Entertainment for helping to make our day just perfect.

others on his team during the planning. A few months prior to the wedding, we were assigned Jeremiah as our DJ. My daughter and fiancé spent a great deal of time filling out the song list, including the must plays and the do not plays. About a week before the wedding, my daughter and fiancé had a phone call with Jeremiah to go over everything. From our guests’ perspective, Jeremiah did a good job, as they did a lot of dancing. However, he completely skipped over an “Anniversary Dance” song, which was my husband's and my first dance at our wedding. My daughter knew how much this would mean to us. I didn't realize till the next day that Jeremiah didn't play it. I was extremely disappointed, as we have not danced to that song since our own wedding in 1992. My daughter and fiancé had talked specifically with Jeremiah about it in their pre-wedding phone call. The plan was for him to call us out to the dance floor and then ask other married couples to join in...with him asking those who'd been married for a certain number of years to remain on the dance floor, till he got to the longest married couple. I don't know why he didn't play it - it was on the schedule and discussed at length. Very disheartening. Also, my daughter said she didn't like the remixes - she didn't know that most or all of the songs would be remixes, and she was really disappointed by that. Part of our package included a pianist during the cocktail reception at The Georgian Terrace. The folks at The Georgian Terrace had just had the piano tuned. Unfortunately, the appearance of our assigned pianist, Chris, was not in line with a "black tie optional" affair. In a conversation I had with Chris, he asked about the attire, and I told him it was black tie optional. He said, "So I should wear a suit?" And I said yes. Our wedding coordinator was appalled at his appearance. His hair appeared unclean and his jacket and pants didn't seem to go together, his shirt looked dingy, and he had on black tennis shoes. We were in a very nice hotel with guests who were very dressed up - many men were in black tuxedos. Others were in suits with ties. Women were in long gowns and elegant dresses. The waiters were in black tie. What a disappointment to have the piano player look so disheveled. I wasn’t going to publicly write a review, because I wanted to give Nice an opportunity to respond to my email about all of these things. However, after I sent it, I never heard a word back from them about my disappointments. Yet, we received emails asking for reviews and asking for videos and pictures so they could promote Nice. Had they responded back with any kind of an apology, I likely would not have written a review.

! Literally went perfectly. They're awesome

ing, during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and receptions were fantastic! They were super professional and extremely prepared! We couldn't be more pleased!

with us and our wedding coordinator so no detail was forgotten. He is so friendly, energizing, and compassionate and made our reception a party. They hooked up all the sound for our ceremony and dinner toasts as well. We had a saxophonist and drummer playing alongside the DJ which was very cool. Hire these guys - great team!

day he made some pretty big errors: ceremony audio failed because he hadn't placed microphone antennas properly and he mispronounced one of our names when announcing us at the reception. Once the dancefloor got going he kept the party alive and even kept the young kids engaged. He was clearly skilled in that department, but he was just not a great MC.

nal service. Nice sends a lot of automated emails (sometimes irrelevant ones), and it wasn't clear who our main person of contact was. Full Explanation: Nice Entertainment is good value for your buck. Their option to include live musicians alongside a DJ is unique and a hit with guests. We have no regrets about hiring Nice. That being said, it feels like 2023 was a growing year for them, and they struggled to maintain quality. Our DJ struggled to get set up upon arrival and needed help from our officiant. His wireless mics were not working when we needed them. A few songs from our “must-play” list got skipped. DJ Jamal wasn’t as interactive in between songs as we requested him to be. We had a lot of specific points of interest at our reception that we wanted to highlight throughout the night that he just didn’t fully execute. We had our guestbook, a photo booth, a live painter, a New Year’s resolution box (our wedding was on New Year’s Eve), and late-night snacks. We felt DJ Jamal could have been more interactive in between songs and called attention to these things that were not obviously visible from the dance floor. The saxophonist arrived about 2 minutes before the start of the ceremony. The pianist did not play all of the songs requested for the prelude. Overall, DJ Jamal played good, classic wedding reception music, the live musicians were great, and everyone had a great time. It was an 8/10 experience that could’ve been a 10/10 if the DJ had been a little more interactive and paid more attention to the “must-play” list.

and special songs. So many people have complimented us on how great the music/atmosphere was and the dance floor was packed the whole night! The songs were mixed so well. We also did the mansion package, which included a sax player and percussionist. Could not recommend them more!

mpliments from our guests about Hans. Everyone wanted to know where did you find this Dj!!! You can't go wrong with Nice Entertainment.

th great dance tunes. My husband and I also opted to get the Mansion package, which came with uplights, a photobooth, and two musicians. This was a great choice! It made our wedding stand out from others that we've been to and made it more special. Thank you so much!

process, Chris and Nice Entertainment were friendly and easy to work with.

the wedding was the most fun they'd been to in a long time. And it showed by the way the dance floor stayed crowded all night with Hans coming out to dance with everyone at times! Truth be told here... I've known Hans for about 12 years now and I've seen his DJ business flourish! There's a reason why... He is that good! So when me and Melissa got engaged and set our wedding to up in New Jersey... I asked Hans if he had any DJ buddies up there. Without a pause he said, "Yeah.. Me! I'll come DJ your wedding!" Which was what I was hoping but also just wanted him to be a guest and party with us. He said..."I get the best of both worlds... help your guests have a blast and party with you!" And that's exactly what happened! His whole process of setting timelines, choosing songs, and getting all setup was seamless. Then playing all the song choices from the ceremony to first dances, cake cutting, and all the requested songs... it was all perfect. If you want your wedding ceremony to be special and perfect and you want your party to rock.. then look no further to Nice Entertainment! We Love You Hans! Brett & Melissa

cking our songs and loading them into the website was easy. And then we had a personal call the week of to listen to our songs and verify everything was good to go. If you are on the fence between these guys and any other company… go with Nice Entertainment! Thank you Hans, for help making our day so special 🥰

stions throughout the whole process. Made our wedding the celebration we wanted and more!

process. We received so many compliments on our DJ, Jeremiah. He set the tone for our reception and everyone had an incredible time. The photo booth was also a huge hit! Highly recommend NICE Entertainment for your wedding or big event. Thank you all!

and moments, and our DJ, Roman, was a hit with all of our friends and family. We can’t recommend the Nice team enough!

who was so kind and great throughout the long day. Would recommend to any of my friends!

and he kept the dance party going all night. We only did music (no lighting or Photo Booth), and it was everything we needed and mores. I seriously cannot recommend more.

ons. I was introduced to the celloist, via email a week before the wedding, I gave her the songs that we requested to walk down the aisle to and said if these are not doable to please let me know. I did not receive a reply. On the wedding day, the dj played as we walked down the aisle. If the photographer wouldn't have taken a picture of the celloist then I would not have known that she was even there. The celloist was the reason we chose Nice to do our wedding as a celloist was at the top of our "wants" list. We also chose the Foam Glow Sticks as an addon and we did not receive them. The DJ was great, I even think one of my friends may hire him, but unfortunately we went without a lot of what we paid for. Nice sent out a text a few days after to get our thoughts on our big day and I summarized what was in this review and never received a reply.

for a U.S. Military Veteran. Even though this was new to us, it was to Nice Entertainment as well. Well, let me tell you, it was a ton of fun! Hans was our DJ and he did a fantastic job! Everyone was rocking to the music I picked out while they were gambling and in the next room on the dance floor. Nice Entertainment was friendly, thorough and diligent from day one. THANK YOU Nice and Hans for a very fun time!

he wedding, he was interactive, friendly, fun, and it just felt like he was a part of our crew. We could not have asked for a better DJ. I am not a dancer but he gave me the confidence to go out there and get it! We want to thank Roman and Nice Entertainment for being a part of our special day and making it so magical! The portal was so easy to navigate and the communication was spectacular. It was definitely a night to remember!

ked closely with us to make sure he had the correct songs for each occasion. People were dancing the whole time! My husband and I had an absolute blast and a big part is because of Stephen! I had guests come up to me and tell me it's the most fun they had at a wedding in years! The next day a friend of mine who is getting married next month was raving to me about how much fun she had and asked me about the foam glow sticks that were handed out because she thought they were an absolute hit! We picked the Mansion Package and had a photo booth included, which people loved and we're so excited to get those pictures back! I would definitely recommend booking Nice Guys Entertainment!

s in addition to the DJ. We didn’t realize though when picking this package that the photo booth did not come with props (which wasn’t a big deal, we were able to find some easily. They said they didn’t have them any more due to Covid protocols so I don’t know if that will change soon). Ian was great to work with! We were going through similar life events and were able bond with him easily (we both moved around the same time and he was getting married a couple weeks after us). Ian knew which questions to ask and was able to make great suggestions. He was helpful to ask questions around the time line and was able to provide a few music suggestions like mother/son dance and hava nagila options. Nice Entertainment has a portal for you to upload your music choices to, it connects to your Spotify account and was very easy to use. It was convenient to list what we wanted for our first day, entrance, ceremony music, and must plays and do not play list (there was one song that was played from the “do not play” list but it was my husbands and he was conveniently in the bathroom during that song so it’s ok lol). The entertainment it self was great! We had so many compliments that the musicians were a great touch and everyone loved the music played! Everyone had a blast in the photo booth and was able to get their pictures easily. Ian and the musicians did a great job bringing in so much energy to the party and made it such a fun night! We highly recommend Nice Entertainment and Ian for your wedding and other events!

pics with the DJ that I wanted in our planning process and they didn't happen. All of my guests had a great time though!

ple have been talking for weeks about how much fun our reception was because of the music and his energy. If you are planning on booking a DJ, you absolutely can’t go wrong with these guys!

was SO helpful during our pre-wedding meetings and was so organized with everything. He kept the party going all night long and provided the dance party our family and friends are STILL talking about! From a couple that has gone to a lot of weddings with bad DJs, I am so happy we selected Nice Entertainment and would hire them again in a heartbeat!

song needed to be changed to pump up the party!!

and dancing. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the great music he played and loved that he took requests. Stephen was easy to work with and answered emails promptly which I appreciated!

el. Ian went above and beyond our expectations. He got to know us as clients and really listened to our wants and needs. Most importantly he listened to when we said we wanted no line dancing — there was not a single line dance. There was no need for one since everyone stayed on the dance floor. He fed off the energy of the crowd and was dancing up at the DJ stand along with us. I highly recommend Ian at NICE entertainment

too.

ke sure we didn’t have any questions and to make sure he had everything correct. The dance floor was packed the entire time. Played all the songs we loved ! We also had up lightening and the photo booth which were great. I will definitely be using them for any other big parties !

ht questions I would expect a dj would ask to get to know us. Stephen answered all of our questions, even when I began panicking closer to our wedding date! At our wedding, he read the crowd, played off of them well, and even allowed some of our more liberal guests to guest dj! hah! We had a great time, and it was all because of Stephen and Nice Entertainment! Also, our cellist Philip Snyder was also through Nice Entertainment. He was super professional and helped us make the most perfect song choices for our ceremony! We heard so many compliments about our ceremony music! Walking out to a cello was exactly how I dreamed! Thank you so much!
