through the booking system. I contacted the makeup artist one week prior to my appointment and received no response. On the day of my appointment, she never showed up and made no attempt to communicate with me until 2 hours after the appointment started. After the no-show, she offered me a refund, which I accepted, only to later refuse to provide it. She then claimed that I had never signed her terms and conditions, yet proceeded to try to hold me to those exact terms when it benefited her. You cannot claim a customer never agreed to your terms and then selectively enforce them after the fact. She is also citing the $100 non-refundable deposit. A deposit is intended to protect the business from customer cancellations or no-shows—not to allow the business to keep someone’s money after the business itself fails to show up. I paid for a service I never received and was then forced to argue over a refund she had already offered. Extremely unprofessional from start to finish. I would absolutely not recommend booking with her.

I messaged her multiple times in the weeks leading up to my wedding trying to get a timeline and asking her when she would arrive etc with no response for three weeks. My calls and texts were ignored. She did not plan accordingly for how many girls she had told me she would be able to finish in the allotted time despite me letting her know the time we had to use the venue months in advance. My makeup was not finished by the time the photographers showed up on site (one of my bridesmaid's makeup wasn't even started). This resulted in minimal time to get photos done and a frantic start to a time that was supposed to be enjoyable and intimate. Lastly, I paid Nicholette IN FULL prior to the day of the wedding. A family member mistakingly gave her cash and when my family explained the situation of how that money was supposed to go to the hair artist, Nicholette kept the money and lied and said "she had done more people than what was expected so she needed to keep the money". I have asked that the money be returned and just like stated previously- I've gotten no response. Despite being talented in the realm of makeup application, her professionalism of running a business is very poor and myself, my family member, and my bridesmaid experienced this first hand.
