We went through my millions of questions and he went through all of the details, and we could feel his passion, dedication, and professionalism through the phone. He is very organized and remembers all of the little details. Our engagement shoot was above and beyond what I expected (this was our first time taking professional pictures) and we felt so at ease and comfortable and he walked us through and guided us through the whole shoot. He even made an extra stop for us so we could take a few pictures with our dog back at the house nearby, which was not a part of the original plan. The questionnaires Nick puts together are very comprehensive and made sure we thought through all of the important logistical things, and we were able to go through the plan with him over the phone a few times before the day of the wedding. Our wedding day photos were seamless, and it felt like we had known him forever. He was so organized, he helped set up each of the shots with family members, making sure spacing was right and hands were in the right place etc. which made a huge impact on our family as well, they were all blown away. We just got our pictures back (such a quick turnaround) and we felt like we were able to relive the day all over again. Nick truly captured our wedding day perfectly, never missing a thing, and the pictures are absolutely stunning. Nick was wonderful to work with and is a very talented photographer. We live out-of-state so we spent a lot of time online looking for the right photographer for us. The first time we met Nick face to face was a chilly February day for our engagement pictures. He scoped out a new location to find the best spots before we even got there. If you're uncomfortable with posing or don't know what to do... don't worry, Nick will coach you the whole time and make you feel like you're the only two people around. He pays attention to detail, especially if you have special details about your wedding. My mom and I made most of the decorations, and he made sure to give them extra attention while taking pictures. He checked in with us throughout our wedding day and made sure to ask if there was anything beyond our planned pictures that we wanted captured. The girls were lucky to spend the day with Nick, and the guys were equally as lucky to spend the morning of the wedding with Nick's sidekick, Kelly. My husband has nothing but nice things to say about her as well. They made a great team and captured our day perfectly. Thank you Nick and Kelly!

Nick is a true professional. He is extremely detailed oriented, and the quality of his work is amazing. He made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera and was patient with us. We can’t say enough good things about Nick. He was so helpful throughout the process - helping with timelines, walking us through the day, shot list, and schedule. My husband and I aren’t super into photos, and he made us feel so at ease and comfortable both in our engagement session and our wedding day. He and his assistant got all the photos we asked for plus more, and we had a blast with all the photos. The week leading up to the wedding, there was rain in the forecast and he was very helpful and flexible with different options. He delivered our preview quickly and we were so blown away as were our families! We can’t wait to see the full album!

Our experience with Nick as our wedding photographer was more than we could have ever asked for! Before our wedding, we had multiple phone calls for Nick to get to know us and to learn what was important to us as a couple. He is incredibly organized with timelines for the wedding day and helped us come up with lists of portraits and candid photos that we wanted. On our wedding day, he was prompt and helped us feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. If he ever noticed we were looking a little stiff or too serious, he would simply say "Think of your puppy, Nala!" and we would instantly smile. This is what I mean when I say he truly got to know us and made our day so incredibly personalized to us and our love story! We even got to peek behind the camera to see how a few of the shots came out during the day. We are SO excited for our photos to come in in a few months and would recommend Nick to anybody who is getting married soon!

I have so many good things to say I'm not even sure where to begin. We first worked with Nick for our engagement photos as part of our wedding package. After a reschedule due to illness he helped us capture our engagement. On the day of our shoot we had an impending storm that threatened thunder storms. We walked us through our shoot with ease and comfort and not once did we feel rushed or overwhelmed. On our wedding day our comfort only grew. When planning our portraits on our wedding day we were quickly overwhelmed by the amount of pictures we though we needed. Nick guided us through the ideal portraits and included special shots we wanted on our wedding day. Our guest and wedding party enjoyed working with him and I feel as though things couldn't have gone smoother. Our wedding day was met with rain but with Nick's help we made a plan that allowed us stay on site and dry to celebrate our wedding day. We will definitely continue to work with Nick as he expands his business to family portraits and can't wait to get our portraits back.

Nick is the BEST! Our experience working with him for our engagement shoot and wedding photos could not have been better. From his professionalism, timeliness, communication, and of course the quality of his photos - we can't recommend him enough! Choosing a photographer was probably THE most important thing for me during the whole wedding planning process, but as soon as my Husband and I spoke to Nick, we knew he was the perfect person to capture our special day. We first got our engagement photos done with Nick first and although we were nervous to be in front of the camera, Nick told us exactly what to do, how to pose, what to say to make us laugh, and everything came out 1000x better than I could have ever imagined! In the months leading up to the wedding, we was easy to contact, had us fill out forms to make sure we got all the family portraits and special photos we wanted, and helped us through all the day-of planning. He knew our venue, got our family portraits done in record time(!!), and got so many breathtaking, amazing shots of us, my bridesmaids, and all of our guests. At the end of the night, our guests kept coming up to us saying he was great, too! We ended up doing an 8 hour coverage with a second shooter and they were both professional, supportive, and a blast to work with! Highly, highly recommend and will hire again in a heartbeat for our next family event/photoshoot.

Nick was the BEST wedding photographer. We got to meet Nick at our engagement photos and knew we made the right choice. AMAZING! Nick truly captured every detail on our wedding day and exceeded all expectations. Nick went above and beyond to make sure the special moments were seen. We hired Nick and his assistant for our wedding and we are so glad we did. He’s a great photographer and has a classic style in my opinion. He does an engagement shoot which was included in our package so you’re able to get to know each other and get comfortable in front of the camera. He was very punctual, professional and easy to work with. We have seen a preview of our photos and are loving them so far! We would definitely recommend him!! We would also recommend adding a second shooter!

Nick exceeded our expectations in every way. We loved getting to know him through our engagement session and appreciated his quick responses as questions popped up during wedding planning. Nick was absolutely amazing to work with from our engagement shoot to both our Indian and American wedding days! I’m a bit camera shy and Nick made me feel totally at ease. It was his first time shooting an Indian wedding and if you’ve never experienced one, there is a lot going on! He did not miss a beat and captured all the colors, beauty and fun from our baraat procession and ceremony. He was great with providing direction for our portraits and was even able to get all the small kids looking in the same direction (he’s got the magic touch!) Our families and guests let us know that they noticed what a great job he did as well! It was really important that we got some photos of our guests since we weren’t able to spend a ton of time with any one person (you know how weddings go) and Nick captured some really nice shots of them. We definitely plan on working with him again if we get the chance!

Nick is the best! I got married 5/29/2022 and could not have asked for a better photographer. We found Nick from our video team, Danleigh Videography, and instantly connected with him. We loved his timeless and colorful photography style. He sent us our gallery about 7 weeks after the wedding. We had so many events going on throughout the night and Nick didn't miss a beat - he was running around during our first dance to make sure the key things were captured. We had also sent him a video of the choreography beforehand so he knew what to expect. We had an issue with a delay in our party robot, and Nick ended up staying later than his contracted time to cover it! Even though my husband and I were knew Nick before the wedding, he quickly charmed his way into everyone else's hearts. Our family and friends felt so comfortable around, which makes a world of difference. 20/10 service! <3

NICK IS FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! My husband and I had sooooo much fun posing for photos and dancing and laughing throughout the process - we truly had the most perfect day and night! We also had many guests come up to us to compliment us (like we had anything to do with it?!) on Nick's skills as a photographer!! People were so impressed by him and his second photographer running to keep up with us throughout our photo dash and also finding such beautiful spots for our photos. Nick truly took the time to ensure the lighting, background - EVERYTHING was perfect for us (Veil photos? Check! Golden hour photos? Double check!!) From the photos he let me peek at, I can tell you with certainty that he totally knocked it out of the park!! Some of our guests have asked for our photographer's information for future events - if that doesn't say it all then I don't know what will! Nick was incredibly responsive throughout wedding planning, calm when I was stressed, and so helpful while we wanted to create an accurate wedding day timeline. He was a positive light throughout our day and even laughed with us along the way :) We're so sad our wedding is over, but we are looking back grinning because it was better than we ever could have imagined. Nick helped to create an absolutely a priceless day for us - we can't wait for our sneak peak!!!! We know our paths cross again at events and for our photo needs in the future!! If you're on the fence about booking Nick, sign that contract right away!! You won't regret it :)

When we started planning our wedding, we had the rule that we would meet with three vendors prior to picking one. Nick was our first meeting and our last. After meeting with Nick my now husband said he would not meet with another, and that Nick was our guy! Nick was absolutely amazing from our engagement photo session, to our wedding day. When there were storms in the forecast, Nick brain stormed with me days before, and made sure we would get perfect pictures with or without rain (luckily it was a beautiful day)! Throughout our wedding day, and days after, our guests complemented Nick’s work, and were begging to see pictures! Wedding photos are something that are cherished and enjoyed for a lifetime, and I am so happy that we picked Nick to capture our perfect day!

After my husband and I were engaged the photographer was the first vendor we booked. We loved Nick's classic style and mix of posed and candid photos. The first time we met him (even though it was virtual) my husband told me that we absolutely had to hire him for our wedding. Nick Cinea was the first vendor we hired after booking our wedding venue, and it was the BEST decision we made. We did our engagement photos at CCSU in July of 2020 and it was about 95 degrees. My husband (then fiance) and I didn't think we'd get any good pictures because we were so disgusting and sweaty, but somehow EVERY SINGLE PICTURE was beautiful. Nick captured our goofy love in a way that was so genuine, I couldn't help but be over-the-moon excited for our wedding photos. Fast forward to June 2021, our wedding day was plagued with uncertainty with scattered thunderstorms in the area, but Nick and his second photographer, Kate, went into problem-solving mode and found a way for my husband and I to have a special first look in an alternative location than originally planned to avoid the sudden downpour. They kept us on our schedule (and followed my obnoxious spreadsheets to a t) so that we didn't have to worry about it! They helped make our day so seamless, and were so flexible when the photo timeline had to change a bit because of the weather. Nick was a great director and behind-the-scenes man who went above and beyond to ensure that we not only had the best photographs, but that we had the best day!!! He captured beautifully the love, joy, and happiness between my husband and I, our guests, and our families. Looking through our photos, you can FEEL the love that was in the air that day. His work truly speaks for itself, but his professionalism, calm demeanor, and down-to-earth nature had me dub him my BFF for the weekend, as I knew I could depend on him for any little thing I needed. We absolutely adore Nick, and you will never regret hiring him! Also, remember when I said he was the first vendor we booked? Well, he recommended our videographer and florist to us, and WOW- it was an absolute dream team. Nick knows his stuff and he knows the right people. BOOK HIM NOW!!

Nick was a lifesaver for our pandemic wedding! Flexible, attentive and talented! We hired him for our 2020 wedding that we had to postpone it to 2021! Nick worked with us to reschedule his services and even let us amend our contract to suit our new needs. For almost two years Nick was by our side on phone calls, touring our venue and even scoping out a first look location for us! He had us fill out a detailed questionnaire so that he could capture every moment we cared about. He brought that four page list of the schedule, the group photos, details etc. and carried it around with him throughout the event, making sure he got each shot! The photographs were stunning, well lit, correctly colored and made my fifty guest event look like a full and fabulous party! We are so grateful we hired Nick! Gorgeous photographs of everything we wanted! He was a huge factor in making our wedding a success and I 110% recommend him for couples who want perfect photos!

Wow! What can I say about Nick?! He is an AMAZING photographer and really cares about the couples he works with. My husband and I hired Nick in 2018 for our 2020 wedding. Due to covid, we had to postpone a year. Nick was BEYOND accommodating and really made our day so much more special! We could not love our wedding pictures anymore! I am so glad that I hired Nick as my Photographer for my Wedding. My husband and I were not disappointed. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming and even more so during the pandemic. It was a relief to have a photographer as organized, calm, understanding,and enjoyable to work with as Nick was before, during, and after the wedding. Nick was available and quick to respond to our needs throughout the process from our first phone call to plan out the day of the wedding, to the first look, the ceremony, the reception, and receiving our wedding photos. He was prompt and followed through with everything he promised. So happy to receive our wedding photos so quickly after our wedding and with a few early for our thank you cards. We appreciated the questions he asked so that we were prepared for the different family photos, and to accommodate any of our family needs and our needs. The photos came out beautifully! We had an afternoon wedding with bright overhead lighting and were worried the photos would come out too harsh. We ideally wanted softer lighting. In the end, even with the afternoon sun, Nick was able to achieve the softer look we wanted with the fall foliage of Elizabeth Park. Nick also was great with giving us directives as to how to stand and angle our faces and was both fun for us to work with. Both my husband and I are not the best w feeling comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. However, Nick was able to make this an enjoyable and fun shoot. We absolutely recommend Nick as our wedding photographer!

Nick was perfect for our elopement ceremony. From the time we contacted him to receiving our photos he was professional and friendly. On our big day Nick made sure we stayed warm and captured all the perfect moments. We absolutely love the pictures he took and couldn’t have picked a better photographer to share our day with.

Originally we had hired another photographer but after meeting nick at a wedding we were in and saw his work we immediately changed our minds!! He was so easy to work with while also being very thorough! There were some specific things I wanted captured but I’m more of a let the expert take the lead kinda person and he did not disappoint! The morning of our wedding was a rainy gloomy mess which made us have to take most of pictures in the church instead of outside at a park. Even though it wasn’t what I expected the pictures are gorgeous. when it cleared up he stole us away to get some amazing sunset pictures! im so thankful he did the because they are some of my favorites!! I am so happy with the way the pictures came out, and everyone I have showed is so impressed with how amazing they look knowing how not amazing the weather was that morning! It was comforting to know that no matter what I was going to have beautiful pictures to look back on!

Nick is an absolutely incredible photographer! He has a great eye, he’s super professional & timely and his photos are beautiful! He made us laugh when we got too serious and was very good at keeping our crazy wedding party on time and focused. At first we were unsure if we wanted engagement pictures. Nick Cinea’s photography is truly one of a kind! He photographed our elopement ceremony in Brookline, MA, at the beautiful Larz Anderson Park on 7/25. Having never been to the park before, Nick took time prior to our ceremony to discuss the location with us, do his own research, and arrive early to scout out the best locations in the park to take photos. My wife and I, along with friends and family who we have shared our photos with, have been blown away by their high quality and the way in which he was able to capture true the authenticity of each moment. Nick’s talent was especially apparent in the fact that he could make photos of masked individuals looks so good and natural! Nick’s creative use of light with the surrounding scenery made for absolutely stunning shots. His timing was so impressive as he was able to capture our genuine emotions during our first look and all throughout the entire ceremony. Nick was an absolute pleasure to work with. His professionalism, pride in his work, and his friendly and outgoing demeanor, made it all such a exceptional experience. We recommended him 100%!

Nick was absolutely fantastic as our wedding photographer. Not only was he a great photographer, but he was great to work with and interact with as well. He was extremely helpful & understanding throughout the whole process, answering all of my silly questions and concerns. Helped with suggestions on where to get out engagement pictures. When the weather affected our shoot and he wasn’t able to get the shots he wanted to deliver he offered to do another mini session (but this definitely isn’t standard, just wanted to callout his dedication to providing great work). His follow up was fantastic, as I admittedly dropped the ball on some timelines due to starting a new job with increased hours and everything else going on. Day of he showed up on time & his second shooter was also great and personable. He was able to get all of the shots we wanted and was patient with all my distractions like stopping by the dance floor while en route to get our nighttime shots. He also IS GREAT WITH DOGS! Our dog was a very important part of our day and involved with the engagement session and present the entire wedding. He got the most adorable shots of the three of us, and even a few of the beautiful girl alone. Though we were on a tight timeline because I went the traditional way with no first look, he got all the shots we wanted and DELIVERED on them. If it didn’t come out to his standards the first shot, he didn’t rush you to the next just to get it done he efficiently adjusted as needed. He was also fantastic with helping guide us on the things you don’t think about but make a huge difference - hand placement, head tilting, etc. And he put my husband and I at ease for all those kissing lovey doves photos- we aren’t super keen on PDA so it this was a bit uncomfortable for us but none of this translated in any of the shots because of how great Nick was to work with. And we got the photos back wicked quick, despite being prime wedding season (married 10/5/2019). Only regret I have is doing 8 hours not 10 & not getting a photo album through him. I’m still THRILLED with the photos- just wanted more from the end of night & to call it out for anyone else who may have been on the fence like I was (having never been married before you don’t really know what is ‘enough’ but trust me go with 10). This is NOT an area you want to cheap out on & Nick is worth every penny. Apologize for the length but it we thought it was important to note all the small details that make him stand out and often don’t make it to the reviews. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Tamara & Shaun Mitchell

Nick is hands down one of the most talented people I have ever met. His capability of capturing authentic genuine moments is unlike any other. His work truly speaks for itself but what you may not know is how he himself is on your special day. He is positive, organize, professional, punctual, and is so easy going it feels as if he was apart the family. I have worked with Nick on other weddings as he did my own and so many more to come for my friends and family, I can say hands down he is someone I fully trust with all photography needs. He continues to stay consistent and his quality of work will take your breath away. If your looking for someone who will elevate your big day, look no more. He is a 10 out of 10. Nick helped make our wedding day SO easy, so that we were truly able to enjoy everything. Full disclosure - my husband and I know Nick personally and we knew before we were ever engaged that we would want him as our wedding photographer. He has done several of our friends' weddings and I would absolutely recommend him to others. Nick delivered on all fronts. He was flexible when we were scheduling our engagement session (which was tricky because we work opposite shifts) and delivered the photos in a timely manner. Throughout the planning process Nick kept in touch. He asked a lot of questions about our specific desires for the day, any special details we wanted immortalized, and made recommendations for the timeline. On our wedding day, he worked with our DJ and wedding coordinator to keep us on track without ever making us feel rushed. He knew all our details off the top of his head and didn't miss anything we had discussed. We had a shot list that included a lot of extended family, and Nick and his second shooter Jason did a great job of getting us through everything quickly so we could enjoy our cocktail hour and reception with our guests. Nick delivered us hundreds of amazing shots and I couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience.

Nick Cinea was our photographer for our engagement and wedding. I met him at a wedding show in Hartford where I was waiting for that one photography vendor to pop out at me. What caught me first was his friendly attitude and light, airy photography style which was exactly what I was looking for. From our first time working with him at our engagement shoot we were quick to tell him how uncomfortable my fiancé and I were in front of the camera. He had some great ways to get us to loosen up and have a ton of fun while producing amazing photos. The week of our wedding I filled out a questionnaire where I was able to add the timeline I created with my planner from the venue. He was so top notch on our wedding day that even our guests were complimenting him. He showed up early, dressed professionally and got to work right as I was ready. He followed the timeline that I had uploaded and we actually ran early on a few things which made the entire day a breeze. He captured so many beautiful memories and my husband and I will be forever grateful to him for allowing us to always have these photos.

Nick is incredible. We could not be more thrilled with the wide variety of special moments that he was able to capture throughout our wedding day. Not only was he able to capture all of the classic family & bridal party portraits, but he was also able to capture any and all special requests, both planned and unplanned, that occurred throughout the evening. All of our photos were made available to us on an online gallery, which has made it very easy to view and share our photos with friends and family. Nick showed that he is true professional time and time again. Our engagement shoot was the first time either of us had worked with a professional photographer and we were both admittedly nervous going into it. Thanks to Nick and his very pleasant and calm demeanor, we became comfortable very quickly. This certainly paid dividends on our wedding day. Nick prepared for both our engagement shoot and our wedding day with thorough questionnaires and with visits to the planned locations. There’s no doubt that this preparation saved the day when we had to change the location of our bridal party photos due to other activity in Hartford on our wedding day. Throughout both sessions, not only did he keep himself organized to ensure he got each and every shot, but he kept his subjects organized, which proved to be a tall order at times. Nick and his assistant seemed to be at the right place at the right time throughout our wedding day and their preparedness certainly showed in the final product. If we could do it all over again, we would gladly choose Nick over and over again.

Nick was easily one of our favorite wedding vendors to work with! In every interaction with him, you will clearly see that photography is his true passion. He is an excellent communicator, he is very enthusiastic, and he has a great creative vision for each and every one of his photos. Scheduling and coordinating with him was a breeze, and he did a phenomenal job of capturing the emotion of our special day. Overall, we cannot say enough about how thrilled we are with how our photos turned out. We will definitely be working with Nick again in the future.
