Nick Rezendes Photography

ortable with Nick. It did not take long for us to get comfortable because Nick was always making us laugh and enjoy the entire experience. Both for our engagement and wedding photos we received our photos in a timely manner and had so many photos to pick from. Every photo was beautiful and fun. We felt like they were natural and really showed our love. The day of the wedding Nick not only made us comfortable again but made sure we stayed on time without ever feeling rushed. The same day edit was a huge hit for our guests. But even more importantly, it gave us so much joy to have so many photos to look at the next day. I can’t say enough about how amazing Nick was and I would recommend him to any couple looking for a photographer.

njoyable — which is saying a lot when navigating wedding day emotions, divorced parents, and a husband who definitely doesn’t love taking a million photos! He handled every dynamic with so much professionalism, patience, and ease, making everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. Nothing ever felt forced or awkward, and he knew exactly how to capture the most meaningful moments without overwhelming us. The quality of his work is unmatched — every photo is stunning, timeless, and beautifully captures the emotion of our day. His talent, attention to detail, and passion for what he does truly shine through in his work. We are beyond grateful to have had him as our photographer and cannot wait to book him again for future photography needs. If you’re looking for someone who is not only incredibly talented but also a joy to work with, look no further. Highly, highly recommend!

r day. His talent is unreal, but what made the experience even better was him. Nick is funny, personable, and instantly puts you at ease. He kept us laughing, made every moment feel natural, and somehow managed to be everywhere without ever feeling intrusive. Our whole wedding party adored him! If you’re looking for a photographer who delivers both breathtaking photos and an incredible experience, Nick is your guy. We can’t recommend him enough!

erns and brought so much ease to the wedding day. From making our engagement shoot so much fun to being very thorough about what we pictured for our day, we could not have asked for more. He was able to capture all the pictures we wanted, and was even great with getting the young nieces and nephews to smile for pictures. He was by our side all night capturing our special day, even getting down on the dance floor with our guests!! The energy he brings was unmatched and we are so happy we chose him to be our photographer. I would recommend him to all brides!!!

guests raved about his photos as they got a sneak peak of the first look and family photos during our reception. I was amazed at how many edited photos that were shared the night of the wedding and they were so so beautiful. And the rest of our photos were delivered very quickly! He is also a blast on the dance floor! We were so grateful to have him part of our special day and create beautiful images to re-live it over and over again!

neak peaks and also our whole album. Everyone loved the same day edit that Nick does! Thank you again Nick for our beautiful wedding photos!!

ING. We have gotten so many compliments on the quality of the photos, and everyone absolutely loved the same day edit that he did. Thank you Nick!!

ch memorable moments of our special day that will last a life time. I loved his style of work it’s very timeless and natural so the pictures will never be outdated. I would recommend him to anyone he truly made our day so memorable!

otos taken of us and didn’t know what to expect. Nick relieved the anxiety by making the experience fun and he was very personable. On our wedding day, time flew by and Nick was able to capture memories that we will cherish forever. Even with the day passing by so quickly he was able to help us relive the day whenever we would like with the beautiful photos he took. One of the things we received compliments on was his same day edit feature, where 60-70 photos are edited same day and projected for guests to look at. This was a special moment for my husband and I, we took the moment together to watch. Overall, we were very pleased with choosing Nick as our photographer, it was worth every penny! For some reason it won’t allow me to share photos but to see his work, visit instagram and follow him @nickrezendesphotography

he was able to get all the pictures we wanted done prior to the ceremony. He is able to quickly adapt to changing conditions and has an eye for capturing all the special, little moments. The pictures we have seen have turned out great and we are so excited to see the rest!

we could get to know him and vise versa. The day went very smoothly and pictures returned to us promptly. His prices are extremely fair and very worth it. If you’re looking to splurge on something for your wedding, he is it!!

riends and family. Nick was quick to note moments that would be photo worthy and great at bringing out true joy and laughter. Fast forward a few weeks when we had our own wedding date set, Nick was our first vendor call after securing the church - we knew photos were a top priority for us and as luck would have it he was available despite how booked his schedule already was. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience working with Nick - my husband agrees Nick will forever be the go to family Photographer for any special events. We are obsessed with our engagement photos and wedding photos and would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat without reservation!

fun person to be around, which helped keep things light and a little less stressful, which is exactly what you want on your wedding day, trust me! The first edits were a huge hit at the reception, we loved seeing some of our photos so soon, and the guests loved it too! Some of my favorite photos were the candid shots…us during the ceremony, the first look, our first dance…he does an amazing job at catching all those special moments! I can’t say enough good things about Nick, he goes above and beyond, we were extremely happy with all the photos and the whole experience. Don’t wait, reach out to him now if you’re planning your wedding! :)

is pretty unpredictable and very restrictive. Although we didn’t have the nice fall weather and location due to the very rainy year we had, Nick was quick to send alternative locations to choose from and was very responsive in helping me work out our engagement session on the original day we had scheduled. Also, we are not very comfortable in front of a camera, but he made our photos look like we were naturals. He gave certain cues and got us to laugh – so the nerves and awkwardness of a photo session did not come through in the photographs at all! With our wedding, Nick absolutely knocked it out of the park. He was so responsive during my whole wedding planning process – with any extra activities I wanted captured and with our timeline as well. He gave his honest opinion on certain things I wanted to do based on his experience, and I was so appreciative of that. He was so fun to have around on our wedding day and his eye for capturing moments is unbelievable. I am in complete awe as I look through all our wedding photos. He is like a ninja – you won’t even notice he’s there as you’re walking down the aisle or doing other things – but he is somehow able to capture these amazing moments. Our guests were raving about him and the same-day edit he was able to display on a projector and screen during our reception. It was honestly the cherry on top of our day – to be able to see a handful of edited photos on our wedding day – because most people don’t even expect to see anything other than a sneak peek the week after their wedding. Speaking of sneak peeks, most photographers will only post 20-30 photos – Nick posted 80 photos the morning after our wedding and I was blown away with his work. Lastly, I was not even expecting our wedding photos back as quickly as Nick had delivered them to us. He sent over a thousand edited photos less than 4 weeks after our November wedding. INSANE (in a good way)! I would highly recommend him for any newly engaged couple looking for a wedding photographer. Honestly, I am already plotting other ways we can use Nick’s services in the future (family shoots, birthday cake smashes, etc.) – he is that good.

nd friendly. He was willing to work with us on putting together a package that incorporated things we knew we needed (like a longer contracted time and two photographers) and things we didn’t (like an engagement shoot.) Over a couple of meetings, Nick got to know us and our couple vibe and the day of our wedding, he and his second shooter were busy the whole time, in multiple locations and could not have done a better job capturing every detail that was important to us. One of my favorite things that Nick does, that I got a LOT of comments on from our wedding guests, was what he calls the same-day edit. Partway through the reception, he set up a screen and a projector and ran a slideshow of some of the pictures he had already taken that day. It was amazing to see some of our wedding photos come through in real time and there were small groups of people standing all around watching the photos cycle through. The next day, he posted a preview of some of our wedding photos on his social media and it was so awesome to immediately get to see some of our photos. I had the full gallery about 4 weeks later and I could not have been happier. It’s true that they say your wedding day is a complete whirlwind and there were so many moments I wanted to remember and seeing the photos that Nick and Alysia took, he caught every single one of them and so many more. I would (and will) use his services again a million times over.

months later. Nick made everything feel seamless and helped everyone have a great time. I couldn’t recommend Nick more and I hope to have the opportunity to work with him again in the future!

weren’t wedding photography related! He helped make my wedding day go nice and smooth. My husband and I had no idea what to do for the camera, but Nick made it so easy and fun! And even better, the pictures came out amazing!!

ext life event!

e his approach to photography- the perfect balance of candid pictures, but also those classic posed photos, and he makes it fun! We were looking for our photographer's editing style to be very crisp, clear, and true to color, and that's exactly what he brings to the table. One year later, and we're still being complimented on how beautiful our photos came out. Throughout our wedding planning process, Nick was great about answering any questions we had along the way. During our engagement shoot and on our wedding day, he was easy to work with and made us feel comfortable in front of his camera. One of our favorite parts about working with him is that we were provided with a sneak peek of our photos on the same day! For our engagement shoot, he posted roughly 25 photos to his social media for us to preview. Then, during our wedding, he edited about 75 photos and displayed a "live edit" on a projection screen during the reception for all of our guests to see, followed by a post on social media the next morning. This moment was so special because your wedding day flies by, so its nice to see a quick glimpse of those moments frozen in time. Also, it made us that much more excited to see the rest of the album because we knew it would be absolutely beautiful. Nick has a true passion and creative eye for photography. Thanks to Nick, we now have memories that we get to look back on for the rest of our lives! The best part is, we get to use him in the future if we want, too! 10/10 recommend using Nick for any of your photography needs, you'll be glad you did!

ental location for the shoot. Highly recommend doing engagement photos with Nick to help build rapport and comfort for the wedding day! On the wedding day Nick timed out the day great so that we could still enjoy some of the cocktail hour and additionally built in time for sunset photos. The guests LOVED his same-day edit projections on the top of the tent and it was definitely a memorable highlight for so many! He was quick in returning the full gallery of photos to us about two weeks after the wedding. Everyone says you only need a handful of good pictures but we have so so many that we love and are so thankful to Nick for them!

our reception and our guests loved it. He was professional, responsive, transparent and generally a cool guy. He did our engagement shoot and we couldn't be happier. Hire Nick it's a no-brainer!

tened the mood. His guidance, combined with his ability to inject fun into every moment, made our time in front of the camera a pleasure. Nick's same day edit photo projection was a unique touch that made our wedding day even more memorable. He managed to capture the essence of our special day through each shot, allowing us and our guests to relive the moments as they happened. The quick glimpse into our photo collection that day was a delightful surprise. It added an extra layer of enjoyment and inclusivity to the celebration. The final photos truly reflected his skill, creativity, and keen eye for detail, resulting in a collection of images we will cherish forever. We were particularly appreciative of the swift turnaround on our wedding and our engagement pictures. We express our sincere gratitude to Nick for his remarkable work and highly recommend him for any wedding. His mix of professionalism, talent, and fun will not only ensure stunning photos, but also an unforgettable photography experience.

y detailed oriented and truly captures all the emotions from the day. Nick doesn't hesitate to get onto the dance floor and mingle with the crowd to get the best shots. He was very easy to communicate with and even released a preview set of photos very shortly after the wedding. The projection screen display at the wedding was also a huge hit. There are so many great things to say about Nick, but hopefully you can find out for yourself just how great he is by hiring him to capture your special day!

tinuing to work with Nick in the future!

is photo taking process so that you can enjoy time with your guests! The best part was the same day edit. All our friends and family are still raving about that. We would highly recommend Nick to anyone looking for a down to earth photographer!

edding was so unique everyone loved it! Also our pictures came back quickly and look amazing!

e inside pictures we are well lit, but not over produced and the outside pictures have a gorgeous natural light look. Additionally, Nick was able to do a same day edit for us which is something that our guests are still talking about! We especially appreciated the energy that Nick brought. Nick was quick, efficient, and professional which made the group photos a breeze. He also was fantastic with the kids in our wedding party and knew how to make them laugh and smile. Finally, Nick absolutely crushed it on the dance floor with all of the guests which led to some fabulous candid dancing photos! We highly recommend hiring Nick for your wedding day! His photos are beautiful and working with Nick is an absolute pleasure!!

organized, and laid back. His creativity and attention to detail is amazing. He was able to do a same day edit for our reception and our guests were blown away. I cannot stop looking at our photos because they are so beautiful. I highly recommend choosing Nick as your wedding photographer!

ach other "how did he capture that?". Everyone who sees our photos are so impressed and curious to know more about Nick's work. For anyone reading this - Nick's the best of the best, a sure thing. His photos speak for themselves. But it's not just his photography that makes him great. He goes the extra mile, without making you feel like he's doing you a favor. His service, attention to detail is second to none. We spoke with other photographers who didn't shine a light on the same things Nick did. He deeply cares about the couples he works with. Above all, this is a career for him, but this experience never felt like a transaction. People gripe about the cost of photos, but that's because there's an absence of value. Nick overdelivered from the moment we spoke with him. Professionalism, knowledge, transparency, confidence (which created a calm amidst the chaos for the wedding party; Nick also got married at the same venue so he knew the best places for photos, lighting, etc.), consultative, caring. In the beginning of the wedding planning process, we agreed photography was the one area we were not willing to compromise. After working with Nick, we can honestly say it was the best decision we made. We connected with Nick via a referral - he already had 40+ weddings booked and wasn't taking on anymore. Especially at the end of the year because it's sacred time he spends with his family and recharges to deliver at the level he does for his clients. He didn't need to say yes, but he did. There are many photographers out there who do great work, but not as many who provide great service to go along with it. We didn't even know same day edits were a thing, but Nick somehow found the time and captivated our guests during the reception with photos that he had literally taken just a short time before - next level! We're honored to write this review...it's the least we can do in return for the moments Nick captured for us. There is no pricetag. Thank you Nick, truly, for exceeding our expectations. Wishing you overflow this year and always. It's easy to recommend you to others. We look forward to working with you again in future! All the best, Alondre & Lauren Rush

an we imagined. The best part of having Nick shot your wedding is he does same day edits and plays them on a projector during your reception. So many guests shared how it was one of their favorite parts of our wedding!! Don't waste your money on anyone else!!!

t that night perfectly and we are thrilled with the results. I can't stop looking through all the photos! Nick knows what he's doing & you can feel reassured that he'll capture everything + more. He was super responsive & easy to work with. His signature "sneak peek" photos displayed on the tent during the end of the night was a highlight for our wedding guests and us, too. Even when it was time for him to head out, he was still on the dance floor capturing some really special moments with my mom & grandma. He truly cares about his couples and the work he does. Stop searching & hire him now :)

ld continuously connect with us before the wedding and even helped with our timeline. The day of our wedding he made everything go smoothly and made sure to get everything we wanted captured, including capturing the cutest pictures of us with our puppy. After dinner he displayed some of our pictures he took earlier in the day which was such a nice touch and our guests really enjoyed seeing the pictures. Toward the end of the night he was starting to pack up but would stop and continue to take pictures of all of us dancing, to not miss anything! From the photos we received already, I am sooo happy with them! I cannot wait to see the rest :) Highly recommend!!!

but also so knowledgeable. At our wedding, the same day edit was amazing, our guests were blown away and it was the best surprise! We are obsessed with our photos and can’t stop looking at them. I highly recommend Nick for any photo needs!

were super nervous, but Nick made us feel so comfortable. We unfortunately had to change our engagement shoot more than once and Nick was very flexible and professional! For our wedding, we were so excited to work with him, seeing as he had done an amazing job with our other photos! We also just received back our wedding photos and I can’t stop looking at them, they’re beautiful! Nick is truly talented and the coolest person to work with. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture my and my husbands special day!!!

s super professional but has a light and fun demeanor which makes taking pictures all the more fun, especially if you aren't one for taking photos! The same day edits were just incredible. Our guests loved it and I actually cried! We could not recommend Nick more!! You will not be disappointed :)

apher! Nick Rezendes is by far one of the most talented photographers in the Connecticut area (and I would even argue beyond). He has an eye for art & is able to capture pictures that will take your breath away. There are not very many people that can capture these special moments with such depth, emotion, love, and in a way that truly tells a story; but Nick is somehow able to make that all happen. In every picture he takes, you can genuinely feel the love in front of and behind the camera. Nick puts his heart and soul into every picture he takes—I’m sure you can see it yourself. Nick, thank you for capturing one of the most important days of our lives! We will definitely stay in touch and reach out to capture other important moments in the future! Thank you!!

new he had to photograph our wedding too. Nick made it easy to be comfortable and just have fun during our engagement session and wedding. We knew he’d be amazing but he picked the perfect second photographer for us thinking about exactly what we needed. We absolutely love all of our photos and were so excited to have a sneak peek of photos so quickly which made reliving our wedding over again so much fun! We’ve already had Nick be there for family, graduation, and business photos since we originally met him back in 2019! We cannot wait to hire Nick for all our family photos to come!

. The day of the wedding he kept everyone on schedule to make sure we were capturing every moment. Words can not even justify how happy we were with his creativity. He made us so comfortable throughout the entire experience. We can’t wait to use him to capture the rest of our lives

ouldn’t ask for more beautiful pictures! Our wedding was so much fun and Nick captured it perfectly! To this day we still hear how much our guests loved the sneak peak of our pictures that Nick projected at our Venue! Our pictures were beautiful and we had a great experience with human

e of my favorites is our wedding exit photo as we drove away on our motorcycle. Nick didn’t promise it but being able to see our photos during the reception was such a special touch. Several wedding guest said this was such an awesome feature they enjoyed and hadn’t ever seen before. Nick is easy to work with and willing to adjust to whatever photos you want. We had a dog and a motorcycle, lots of family and a special couple officiating our wedding. Our wedding was small but I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Already trying to think when we might need more photos taken and what we can get him to try next time!

he near future!

breeze, which helped keep our minds at ease with all the other details you contend with planning a wedding. On the day of, h his demeanor and professionalism helped us stay relaxed: it can be so awkward having a stranger around while you’re getting ready, but he put us completely at ease, like having another friend there, taking lots of pictures. He made sure to get shots of little details that I hadn’t even thought of, making for some very special memories looking back. We had 7 kids in our wedding party as well—I know, a little crazy!—and Nick was SO great with them all! It was hot and kids were distracted, as they always are, and he was awesome at getting them all to smile and look in the same direction, definitely a pro in working with kids! He had my husband and I laughing in our individual shots, and with our whole wedding party, he was efficient in getting everyone in shots we wanted, in and out, back in. He kept it organized so no one had to worry about what to do or where to be, they just followed his directions. He coordinated with our videographer, venue coordinator and DJ for all our big moments, taking pressure off myself and my husband to do so. One of my favorite moments of my entire day was looking at the dance floor and seeing that Nick had set up a projector with photos from the morning and ceremony and was playing it DURING the reception, it was completely surreal to be able to watch the wedding as it was happening. It was such a special touch that our guests are STILL talking about and asking “who was your photographer?!” Ultimately, what sold us on Nick even more than all of the professionalism and organization is his actual work: his photos were all amazing, bright, and beautiful. They completely captured all of the love and energy of our day. His editing turnaround was fast, we actually got them on our honeymoon! Having digital rights to them as well allows us to print them for our families in any size and quantity that we want, another huge plus. Bottom line: if you’re looking for a great photographer for your wedding, stop looking. You won’t find anyone better than Nick!

sy wedding day! He kept us organized and timely as he took the most incredible photos! You can tell he truly cares about making your big day perfect! :)
