We got SO many compliments on our DJ at our wedding, and Nick Scott truly hit it out of the park! First he did our ceremony music and mic set up, and it was flawless…. EVERYTHING w...
as how we wanted, the music timing was Perfection. We felt like we were in the best movie of our lives. He also was our DJ for the reception, and the music kept people on the dance floor ALL night! We had a smaller wedding of approx 65 people so I was worried it would be hard to keep people out there dancing, but people were out there jamming ALL night! I’ve had multiple guests come up to us after the weekend to say that our DJ and vendor team was “10/10”! His sound and lighting set up created a beautiful room and ambience to really bring everything together! He was adaptive, could read the room, and brought a great touch to our day. And then He made great mixes of the music, took requests when he knew it’d keep the party alive, and was a great addition to our very very special day. And not only was He was so incredibly professional, but he was also just an extremely kind and down to earth person. He was such an important part to the wedding day of our dreams really coming together at Corduroy Inn and Lodge in Snowshoe.
My husband I were beyond thrilled with DJ Nick Scott! He made our wedding reception into exactly the kind of party we were hoping for. After getting to know us as a couple, he was ...
able to put together songs that got us and our guests excited to stay on the dance floor all night. (seriously, I never left the dance floor!)
He is very thorough and professional. He has a questionnaire that ensures nothing is missed. He organized and announced each part of the evening so that we flowed through the special moments without a worry. He even helped suggest songs when we were stumped!
There aren't enough words to tell you how much we love DJ Nick Scott! Our wedding was outside of Washington DC and he didn't hesitate to travel for our big day. Look no further, if you're on DJ Nick Scott's page right now, click BOOK!
Nick was the DJ at my wedding reception on November 3, 2018 at University of Charleston. He did a fantastic job! He was very interactive with the guests and kept the reception goin...
g with special dances, garter toss, bouquet toss, cake cutting. It was all seamless. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I am so thankful that he was a part of my special day. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!!
Where to begin - I can honestly say that hiring Nick Scott to be our wedding DJ was the BEST decision we made. From the beginning, Nick was attentive to our needs and the execution...
of our wedding vision. He was super easy to get in contact with and always replied to our calls/emails in a timely manner. He made sure to have all of my music requests - even my old school rap as well as my husbands 90s country favorites! He transitioned from on genre to the other flawlessly. My wedding had some unique aspects that Nick accommodated in stride. For example, I requested two father daughter dances and wanted two separate songs that faded out and into each other during certain points in each song (I know... a bit much lol). Nick had no issues making this vision come to life. His years of experience made this transition smooth and without any awkward moments of pause/silence. Additionally, our wedding coordinator had an unfortunate fall at our wedding which required her to leave before the reception. This could have resulted in a great deal of panic and chaos, but Nick stepped in, going above and beyond, to make sure our reception proceeded as planned. I was at ease all night and seriously had the VERY best time because of his efforts. He kept the party going until the very end of the evening. I can’t recommend him enough. He is the BEST in the business - Nick truly cares about your happiness and your day. If you’re looking for a DJ, look no further!
A must have for your wedding! Very proffessional, runs the whole wedding and you don't have to lift a finger other than pick your songs.
Nick is the ONLY DJ in Charleston that I would have ever considered booking. I have been to a lot of weddings with really poor DJ's or DJ's that talked all night long - completely...
forgetting that the night was not about them - Nick is NOT like that at all. He is completely professional and he LOOKs the part as well - he makes it a point to wear a very nice suit to all of his wedding events which I think is really important.
Don't be swayed by the price for two reasons -- one we had a long reception: 5 PM - 11 PM AND you get what you pay for.
Here is an e-mail I wrote to Nick following our wedding:
We had an amazing time at our reception and everyone seemed to be having a fantastic time dancing the night away. One of the reasons we chose you was, and this sounds weird to say, but you didn't talk to much. I've been to weddings where the DJ thought it was all about him instead of it being all about a celebration for the bride and groom. I really appreciated that every time you were talking it was something that was meaningful to the events happening at that time and it added to the night rather than distracted from the night. We didn't give you a lot of direction on the music because by that point in the planning process we just couldn't plan another thing but you delivered without even much input from us.
