I decided to do the bridal makeup and hair trial 3 months before wedding day and it was the best decision I could’ve made! We were able to openly communicate on what I wanted to look like on Wedding Day, we played around with lip colors and hair styles so that I felt confident that the look would be executed on the big day! AND EXECUTED IT WAS! I’ve never felt more beautiful! And as a bride of color, it was important to me that my beauty team understood the ins and outs of how to work with each and every complexion and hair type. Throughout the planning process, the team provided a makeup lookbook, which helped my bridal party start thinking about the styles they loved. I did my trial with Charisse, and she was absolutely amazing. She listened so thoughtfully to my vision, helped refine my look, and made sure I loved every detail. She was kind, patient, and quick to adapt when I reached out with small adjustments.
Now for the wedding day—when I say it was extraordinary, it truly was! The ladies arrived on time and were ready to go right at the scheduled start. They created a flawless timeline that kept us perfectly on track—even with a large party (13 people getting makeup!). We never felt rushed, and they even built in extra time for touch-ups and final touches.
Beyond their organization and professionalism, the energy in the room was pure magic—full of positivity, laughter, and love. Every single member of my bridal party looked absolutely beautiful, and my makeup was nothing short of stunning. Charisse made me feel like a queen—I have never felt so radiant in my life! I received endless compliments all day and night. Even after 12 hours of celebrating (pictures, through our reception and into the after-party), my makeup held up perfectly. I still looked flawless at the end of the night!

They also were so communicative prior to the wedding with a last-minute change on my end that, because of their attention to detail, ended up being less stressful in the end. Their attention to detail also guided the wedding day and they made sure to prep my skin for any sweat/wearing off during the day and provided my MOH with post-makeup fixes.
