Nicki Rouge Bridal Team was great to work with! They are extremely organized and professional. There was unfortunately a family emergency the day of my wedding with an artist, and ...
the team quickly stepped in to resolve. Most importantly, they ensured my bridesmaids and I felt and looked amazing on my special day.
BRIDES LOOK NO FUTHER, THIS IS YOUR TEAM!! NRBT from the initial inquiry call, to the moment I walked down the aisle, made sure I was a FLAWLESS bride along with my beautiful bride...
smaids! Their Bougie Bride package is an all-inclusive beauty package so you don’t have to worry about makeup, hair, hair extensions, they take care of it ALL! I decided to do the bridal makeup and hair trial 3 months before wedding day and it was the best decision I could’ve made! We were able to openly communicate on what I wanted to look like on Wedding Day, we played around with lip colors and hair styles so that I felt confident that the look would be executed on the big day! AND EXECUTED IT WAS! I’ve never felt more beautiful! And as a bride of color, it was important to me that my beauty team understood the ins and outs of how to work with each and every complexion and hair type. I am personally a curly-hair girl and I knew it’s what I wanted on wedding day! It was perfect! Thank you to Nicki and her entire team! BRIDES, THIS IS YOUR TEAM, trust me!
Nicki Rouge Bridal Team is absolutely exceptional!!
They are truly incredible. From the very beginning, the communication was superb. After my initial consultation with Nicki over ...
the phone, I immediately knew we were in good hands. Nicki was so kind, professional, and walked me through every detail to make sure our bridal team’s needs were fully understood.
Throughout the planning process, the team provided a makeup lookbook, which helped my bridal party start thinking about the styles they loved. I did my trial with Charisse, and she was absolutely amazing. She listened so thoughtfully to my vision, helped refine my look, and made sure I loved every detail. She was kind, patient, and quick to adapt when I reached out with small adjustments.
Now for the wedding day—when I say it was extraordinary, it truly was! The ladies arrived on time and were ready to go right at the scheduled start. They created a flawless timeline that kept us perfectly on track—even with a large party (13 people getting makeup!). We never felt rushed, and they even built in extra time for touch-ups and final touches.
Beyond their organization and professionalism, the energy in the room was pure magic—full of positivity, laughter, and love. Every single member of my bridal party looked absolutely beautiful, and my makeup was nothing short of stunning. Charisse made me feel like a queen—I have never felt so radiant in my life! I received endless compliments all day and night. Even after 12 hours of celebrating (pictures, through our reception and into the after-party), my makeup held up perfectly. I still looked flawless at the end of the night!
My mother and bridesmaids also couldn’t stop raving about how professional, talented, and impressive the Nicki Rouge team was.
This is hands down the best bridal makeup team in Chicago—and beyond. I will absolutely be booking them again for any future professional makeup needs!
Nicki is a fantastic person with an outstanding team. They made me feel like the most beautiful bride—and truly, like royalty—I am forever grateful!!!
When I get my professional photos I will add them to this review as well :D

as still able to complete my and my 10 bridesmaids makeup flawlessly. I would recommend the team to anyone needing bridal makeup services. Very professional and great work.
Loved Nicki Rouge Team! I had the natural beauty Cookie to do my makeup early in the morning on my wedding day and she was so sweet and excellent to work with. My husband had some ...
suggestions (he hates makeup and really wanted my natural beauty to show) and she was patient with him and did the changes in a timely manner. Here's the final look as I walked down the aisle. Thank you guys!
Nicki was great at communication and figuring out the biggest goals for hair and makeup for the wedding. Beshara and Quincee are so amazing! They were so easy to work with setting ...
up the trial, and I instantly knew why they had such wonderful reviews. My makeup was flawless the entire day, I would definitely recommend their team for any events!

ave been a stressful day relaxing. They also were so communicative prior to the wedding with a last-minute change on my end that, because of their attention to detail, ended up being less stressful in the end. Their attention to detail also guided the wedding day and they made sure to prep my skin for any sweat/wearing off during the day and provided my MOH with post-makeup fixes. My makeup was perfect all night. They really followed what I asked for in both hair and makeup. I felt listened to and taken care of in a way I really appreciated. I would recommend them for any bride/bridal party.
Nicki provided excellent service! My wife and I eloped in New Orleans but wanted to celebrate here in Chicago with our closest friends and family. While I wasn’t the “traditional...
” bride with a traditional wedding Nicki still took her time in asking plenty of questions about what I liked and didn’t like. As a complete makeup novice I kept tearing during the eye makeup application but she was so patient and diligent. She nailed my desired look and she even helped me step up my skincare game! Definitely recommend and will be using her services again in the future!
I cannot recommend them enough. Nicki's team made everyone from my bridesmaids to my mother and mother-in-law and myself feel themselves but also beautiful. I did not have to touch...
up my hair and make up once! We all come from different backgrounds and I felt they were able to take care of everyone and make each person shine. I truly did not feel I was able to take a bad photograph on my wedding day thanks to Nicki's magic.
5 STARS! Nicki and her team are the epitome of talented, professional, punctual, and luxurious. As a bride, with a large bridal of many different skin tones, I was looking for some...
key things in a MUA.
1. I needed a full team of talented artists (one and done) vs. struggling to find 3 different artists.
2. I needed an MUA that specialized in Bridal looks, not just any style of makeup.
3. And last, I needed a professional. Someone who was accessible/ responsive when to I needed or when changes needed to be made, proactive communicator.
What I got that the morning of my wedding was so much more. Nicki and her team were flawless executors. We were pampered, the energy was so calming and every single one of my girls loved the end results.
Now to Nicki herself, thank you for not just being a talented MUA and making me feel like a QUEEN …but you were a therapist and kept me grounded when the weather started taking a turn for the worst. I could not have ever made it through this day without you. 💕 to all the followers and future brides, don’t think twice book right now! You will not regret it

own about 2.5 hours away from Chicago, and I knew I had a broad range of complexions and races represented in my bridal party, yet I wanted everyone to feel comfortable knowing that qualified, experienced professionals would do our makeup. I hired NRBT for my wedding day makeup, but what I received was so much more. I received a high level of professionalism and engagement from start to finish. Nicki was timely with communication, she provided a transparent and professional contract for services, she curated a day-of makeup schedule that worked with a hectic hair schedule (due to hair appointments offsite with non-NRBT hair stylists) for my entire bridal party, and her team’s energy was unmatched in the most beautiful way. Most important, her team arrived on time and had the entire party ready on time. They truly made my wedding day special, and I love these women forever! If you’re hiring Nicki and her team, know that you’re not just paying for makeup, you’re paying for a comprehensive experience that impacts your wedding planning and wedding day experience. Having peace of mind and being surrounded by positive vibes start to finish is always an investment I’m willing to ask. I’d hired them again 100x over, and I’m considering hiring them for my wedding in Zambia! Rougie Gang forever! ❤️

d Nicki Rouge Bridal Team made sure I was not only comfortable with how I looked but excited about it. My stylist and make-up artist were so patient when I was clueless on how to answer some of their questions and really helped me figure out what I wanted. I would recommend them to anyone and would definitely use their service again for any big events.

xecution on the actual day, this team did exactly what I was hoping for and made me look and feel so beautiful. But not just me, I had 9 other people getting hair and makeup services and they were able to listen to what each person wanted and performed their artistry so beautifully. NRBT was professional, prompt, and FUN!!! I loved getting to work with them and would hire them again for services other than bridal makeup as well!!

ned to my critiques after my makeup trial, and on the day of my wedding, she executed my vision for my bridal makeup perfectly. I felt beautiful on my wedding day! She also did a wonderful job with the makeup for my mother and maid of honor, who were both very happy with their looks. dal preview consultation that I booked the right team! I was so in love that I even booked Nicki to create my look for my bridal shower! The planning process was smooth and she always responded promptly to any questions that I had. She curates your look based on your preferences, and she focuses on skin care and health which is a big plus. I received sooo many compliments each time she has done my makeup. My bridesmaids and I also received many compliments on my wedding day! Nicki is a true professional who takes pride in making brides feel beautiful on their special day! I cannot say enough about Nick Rouge Bridal team. From our initial consultation through wedding day, everything Nicki and her team did went above and beyond my expectations. Not ...
only are they SUPER talented and able to work with people of all backgrounds, but their professionalism and knowledge were top notch. Every bride should consider the inevitable stress of planning a wedding and ensuring everyone is event and photo ready. I would HIGHLY recommend Nicki Rouge Bridal team to take this stress away, allowing you and your wedding party to feel pampered and ready for the big day. If I had to do this all over again, Nick Rouge would be my FIRST stop to ensure I'm on their very busy books. Additionally, my entire bridal party LOVED their makeup; especially the moms who are aren’t often professionally pampered. Everyone looked natural and amazing!!
A long overdue review! I got married in January 2022, and Nicki and her team did my makeup as well as my wedding party's makeup. They hit it out of the park. Everyone, including me...
, loved their makeup and looked absolutely amazing. My mom, who I had to persuade to get hers done, said to me, "I've never seen myself look like this." She was in awe lol.
Nicki was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. She was professional, responsive and knowledgable. And she really listens to her clients to understand what they want and helps make sure they're comfortable. I'd only had my makeup done a handful of times before my wedding, so I was nervous and frankly didn't really know what I wanted or what would work for me, but working with Nicki, I knew quickly I was in good hands.
Would definitely recommend Nicki and her team for bridal makeup and any other makeup needs!

renewal. On the day of my event, the ladies were on time and very professional. I had my makeup and hair done and my 3 daughters' makeup done. I enjoyed the facial treatment I received before my makeup was applied. It wore well the entire time of my event. My face and hair were as beautiful at 3 as it was at midnight! Thank you!

nce from my consultation, to hair and makeup trial, and wedding day was so positive. Ashleigh was my lead stylist and did such a phenomenal job on my makeup and helping me feel comfortable with the whole process. I typically don't wear or speak makeup, and wasn't sure how to verbalize my vision. Ashleigh was so patient, guided me through everything, and developed a look that went perfect with my vision. Quincee was my hairstylist and was also amazing to work with. She executed the hairstyle I requested flawlessly, while also handling my hair with care. The entire NRBT was great to work with, punctual, professional, and fun! I highly recommend choosing them for your wedding day hair and makeup needs!

19 and never saw COVID-19 coming, let alone the uncertainties that came with planning a wedding in a global pandemic. Nicki and her team were understanding and flexible through it all – and the big day was as dreamy as I imagined it would be! On the day-of, the team appeared for our very early call time (4:45 am) with calming spirits and plenty of enthusiasm. Myself and my six bridesmaids enjoyed a peaceful, stress-free morning and every one of us was obsessed with our look! Nicki and her team were professional, knowledgeable, and kind. They took care to create a custom look that enhanced each individual girl’s beauty while delivering the same high-quality of artistry. You can trust that you’re in good hands with any expert on this talented team. Everything was completed on-schedule, with time to spare for selfies and well wishes. Our faces held up well into the evening and my girls could not WAIT to see themselves in the event photos. Overall, NRBT is incredibly intentional about creating an upscale experience that makes you feel like royalty. I can’t recommend them highly enough for your bridal needs.
