Hosted a ceremony and reception. We opted for ceremony in the Maxwell and reception on the restaurant part, it was nice to have two spaces for different parts of the day, and the ...

pricing was incredibly reasonable compared to other venues we considered. We like the ‘All inclusive’ pricing. The team was professional and courteous, and food was WAY better than standard banquet fare since this is a restaurant as well. The planner Katie even went above and beyond to assist when we had a bit of a decor snafu with our florist. Would highly recommend this as an option to anyone!

We had our rehearsal dinner here and I genuinely cannot recommend them enough! From our very first contact through the night of our dinner, Tess was absolutely FABULOUS to work wit...

h. We booked a semi-private event for around 30–35 guests and were able to drop off a few decorations that morning — a sign, candles, and bud vases with roses. When we arrived that evening, everything was already set up exactly how I had envisioned it. It was absolutely beautiful and I didn’t have to worry about a thing! The entire staff went above and beyond for us. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming and made all of our guests feel so comfortable. The food was fantastic as well! We have several people with celiac disease in our family, including myself, so having safe gluten-free options was extremely important to us. They were more than happy to accommodate us and did an amazing job, which gave me so much peace of mind. What really meant the most to us was how kind Tess was when we ran into an unexpected issue with our wedding venue and our rehearsal walkthrough. She allowed us to use the Maxwell Room to actually rehearse our ceremony, and I cannot explain how grateful we were for her in that moment. She absolutely did not have to do that, and it was just another example of how genuinely kind and accommodating she was throughout the entire experience. Everything from the space, food, setup, and service to the people themselves exceeded our expectations. Tess and the entire staff are genuinely wonderful people who truly care about the experience they give their guests. We are SO thankful we chose to have our rehearsal dinner here and would recommend them a thousand times over for any special event!! 🤍

We just had our reception in the Maxwell room June 8th and I cannot say enough. Katie the event coordinator and her team went above and beyond anything we ever imagined. From handl...

ing table and plating setups, cake cutting, dinner service, handling all clean up, and sharing our last dance with us it was nothing short of perfection. We heard incredible feedback from guest on how filling, delicious, and beautiful the food was! And personally it was some of the best food I’ve ever had, especially the focaccia- I need that recipe haha. The bartender for our event was incredible and remembered both mine and my husbands drink order, and the guests said the bartender was incredibly great to them as well. All in all, if I could stand on a roof and shout how incredible the team here is I would. If you take nothing else from this review just book it - we booked it sight unseen and couldn’t have been happier!

Loved our experience from top to bottom! My wife and I were looking for a comfortable environment for our rehearsal dinner with great food, good service and a place that would fit ...

comfortably in our budget and Nicky's checked all three and beyond. Would highly recommend working with Katie and Caroline for anything related to your wedding or celebration leading up to the big day. Communicative, confident and with total follow through - really couldn't have had a smoother experience with them.

at The Maxwell Room allowed us to truly enjoy the night, and some very tasty food and drinks, with our family and friends. And with a strict budget to follow, they are very reasonably priced compared to other options in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

The staff at Nicky’s has everything down to a science. Their newest venue, The Maxwell Room, is absolutely stunning. They took care of all the setup, linens, plates, etc. All we ha...

d to do was have a quick meeting with them to discuss menu and timing. The food was superb. They accommodated dietary restrictions and were so thoughtful throughout the whole event. The host of the event checked in throughout the night to make sure everything was going to our expectations too. We are so glad we chose The Maxwell Room @ Nicky’s. If you’re looking for a venue that will take care of you with great food, this is it!
