Our wedding weekend in Tuscany at the wonderful Castello Di Vicarello was nothing short of magical, and we owe so much of it to Nicole and her sister Jill. From the very beginning, the process was streamlined, stress-free, and surprisingly easy. Having Jill based in Italy made everything really smooth, and together they found us the best possible venue and vendors who brought our vision to life.
What stood out just as much as their organization was Nicole’s incredible design ability. Every element was chic, thoughtful, and intentional. Nothing ever felt generic; each detail was curated to reflect us, and it showed in the atmosphere and experience.
Nicole and Jill were calm, kind, and reassuring every step of the way. They were there for us in moments of doubt or stress, always with patience and a smile. Even the very last details, handled minutes before the ceremony, were executed with grace.
The entire weekend (welcome dinner, wedding day and and poolside farewell brunch), everything unfolded beautifully. All we felt was joy and calm, which is not something most couples get to say. Every single guest told us it was the most incredible wedding they had ever attended, and we can give a huge amount of credit to Nicole and Jill for making that happen.

She made sure our day was exactly what we wanted and went smoothly. So many details and so many things to think about - Nicole and her assistant Jessie nailed it! I remained calm and happy throughout the day because I trusted them. They were able create a flow to the day and were always three steps ahead. Many guests commented on how lovely they were. I loved working with Nicole during the lead up to the wedding and the day of. She is very talented and clearly loves what she does. We feel very lucky to have been in such good hands. Nicole is absolutely incredible and made our wedding exceptional. Priority number one is to book her and her team out for your wedding. She's an excellent communicator, great listener, logistic mastermind, and has superb design taste. We had our wedding Palm Springs at an estate whereby you had to bring in all of your vendors (catering, music, party rentals, etc.) and Nicole kept everything organized and on track. Leading up to the wedding she was always readily available and exudes a calm confidence that everything is under control (big plus for the standard stresses of one's wedding). On the wedding day itself Nicole had everything perfect and ensured that we (bride and groom) could enjoy every moment and not have to worry about a single thing.
Regardless of however many clients she may be working with at a given time she treats you with genuine personal attention. We could not recommend Nicole more highly and are incredibly grateful to have worked with her.
What can we say? Nicole and her assistant, Jessie, were gems from the beginning. They worked with our ideas, brought them all together, and delivered. They kept us on track along the way. But the biggest aspect was on the actual wedding day! Jessie maintained this calm flow! Not only did she have fantastic suggestions, she listened to our thoughts and adapted perfectly. We had a fantastic experience with Nicole. We hired her for 1/2 planning + design and hired her about 10 months before the wedding after interviewing a few different planners. I was impressed by Nicole's flexibility and willingness to compromise with me. There were a few 'must-haves' for me that were quite difficult to source, but she was willing to roll with the punches and understood 'the vision' and my perseverance to create our perfect wedding. After experiencing a fire at our venue about 9 months before the wedding, we had to go back to the drawing boards and be flexible about the wedding plans until the week of the wedding, and without Nicole's Plan A, B, and C, we would've been left scrambling until the day of. She took care of a lot of the things we wouldn't have known to do (wedding insurance, for one) and completely blew us away with her coordinating skills on the day-of. At the very least, we recommend hiring Nicole for her month-of planning as we would've paid 3X the price for how smoothly it all ran on the day of. Thank you Nicole!
I cannot say enough about how wonderful Nicole is! Kind, professional, responsive, talented...patient. The list goes on! I wanted to do most of my wedding planning, so Nicole was my month of coordinator, but really, she was so much more. I used her as a sounding board for some big decisions, asked her opinions on selecting certain vendors, listened to her recommendations (which were all wonderful) and put my trust in her on the big day, knowing everything would run smoothly. And if there were any hiccups on my actual wedding day, I knew nothing - just the way it should be! Honestly, I know that if it weren't for Nicole, I would have been a total stress case, but she kept me totally sane, and my wedding day was absolute perfection! Thank you so very much, Nicole!
Nicole was incredible from start to finish. We got married in LA and are based in London. She made organising a wedding from abroad really easy. All her recommendations for vendors were spot on and she always stayed in line with the vibe we wanted. On the day she was super organised and made the whole experience enjoyable for us. We just celebrated our daughter’s wedding and Nicole of Nicole Alexandra Designs was our event coordinator. It was truly a pleasure to work with Nicole. Nicole is amazing and made it possible for us to plan our dream wedding across the country without ever even traveling to meet in person! She's flexible and understanding of our busy schedules but gets it all done! She really understood my vision and contributed all perfect vendor suggestions. Nicole has a heart of GOLD and is exceptionally talented! As my husband and I started the daunting task of planning our wedding I knew right away I needed a wedding planner to help me pull off the day we were envisioning. I'm so glad I was recommended to Nicole by my friend and photographer Valorie Darling. Nicole was so sweet and invested right from the beginning. She listened to every idea I had (or pinned) and really collaborated with me on every aspect! She knows and has worked with a vast list of vendors in every category so I was able to look at a couple options to decide which was right for our vibe and our budget. Nicole is also super creative and had awesome ideas I hadn't thought about or even seen before. She colored and melted candle wax over our individual olive oil bottle favors which totally pulled together the whole table setting. Guests loved them! She also suggested we have a coffee bar at our reception and it was an absolute HIT! We love coffee so it was a no brainer but I wouldn't have thought about it! My husband and I had the most relaxing day the day of our wedding and I attribute that completely to Nicole. I have no idea what went on behind the scenes because she was right there taking care of all the moving parts and keeping us on schedule without anything feeling rushed or unplanned. She really mapped out the timeline that everyone relied on and it was just all so smooth which made for a purely MAGICAL memorable day. I can't say enough about her eye for design, her ability to execute your vision, and her generous and beautiful spirit. If you are looking for a wedding planner- you've found her!
I was somewhat dreading the planning (what, I can't just show up to the party?!) but Nicole made it SO much fun and easy throughout the process. We did the 1/2 planning plus wedding design package. She always had great vendor and general suggestions and answers to even the tiniest of questions. Perfect balance of having detail to attention, but kept us at ease when it came down to the final weeks and days. She is a busy woman (rightfully so!) but was always on top of things and responsive.
Our wedding was at Catalina View Gardens Wedding and Nicole knew it like the back of her hand!
If you are looking for someone that is organized, creative, extremely resourceful, attentive, genuine, business minded, has attention to detail and is just lovely to work with, she is your gal.
In addition to that, every vendor I worked with (before and I after I hired her) only had fantastic things to say about her. Having the vendor community love you, really goes a long way.
We had hired her for coordination only, but ended up adding design help in as well because she really has such beautiful and yet unique ideas and helped bring everything together! She completely made the entire experience palatable and made the day of go off without a hitch! It wasn’t until after the wedding day itself, I found out that she made some great judgement calls and nobody was the wiser.
If you are on the fence, she will be one of the best planing decisions you make and will definitely get more than what you pay for!

Nicole was an absolute dream to work with! When we got engaged we were not planning on having a coordinator, however our venue required having at least a day-of one. Looking back, I don’t know what we would have done without Nicole! We met with her a few months before our wedding to go over details, and from the get go she completely understood who I was as a bride, who we were as a couple and the type of wedding we envisioned having. We immediately hit it off when I told her my biggest fear was having a “Rustic” wedding, and after a few minutes of hard laughter, she completely understood my ideas and ran with them. She was so organized, encouraging, flexible and had the best ideas, suggestions and great recommendations on vendors. On our wedding day, Nicole had everything in order, made me so stress free and any hiccups that could have potentially happened, Nicole had already found the solution before any issue ever arose. She was professional, fun, and with her help, our wedding day was better than we could have ever imagined. I have been a wedding photographer for 5 years and I met Nicole 3 years ago. We did a wedding together and I was impressed by her way of connecting with the bride and groom and their families. Nicole is personable, sweet but takes charge when she has too. She helped me plan my wedding for a whole year and the day couldn’t have gone smoother. It was our dream wedding. I love her classy yet fun style and the pops of color she uses. Nicole knows how to turn an idea into the real thing. It rained on our wedding days so things took a unexpected turn but she stayed calm and rearrange things on the fly. I highly recommend hiring Nicole Alexandra Designs to plan/design your wedding. What can be said that hasn't been said already? I needed a Day-Of-Coordinator, and contacted a friend who works in the wedding industry for a referral. She gave me a list of people that she had worked with, and her number #1 recommendation was Nicole. What stood out the most is that she said, "Nicole goes above and beyond for her clients", and that is exactly the type of person I wanted to be on my side on our wedding day. My fiance and I were very hands on for our wedding, doing the planning and decorating ourselves. Our wedding was small and intimate (56 guests), and being held at a private estate- therefore, we felt like we needed someone to help with the all the logistics that comes with hosting a wedding at a place that is not an actual "venue". Nicole was ALWAYS available when we had questions or concerns, and her answers were always honest. For just being our Day-Of-Coordinator, she spent time with us helping negotiate our budget, and lend her expertise, as we tried to navigate planning ourselves. Just like my friend promised, she went above and beyond.
On the day of our wedding, because all the decor (centerpieces, flowers, candles, etc.) had been created by me- I assumed I would also have time to help Nicole with setting everything up (Type-A much?!). The truth of the matter is, once the day got rolling- between hair and makeup, photos, etc. there was not a single second for me to help with setting up. Nicole did everything. EVERYTHING. It wasn't ever a thought in my mind that I would walk into our ceremony and reception site, and just, "poof", everything would be done- but that is exactly what happened. Nicole warned me, she wouldn't let me do any of the logistical stuff on our actual wedding day- but truth be told, I wanted to help! But the fact of the matter was, there wasn't time for me to, and even more so- there wasn't any NEED for me to. Nicole and I had had plenty of conversations for her to know what my vision was, and she so seamlessly executed it. Truly, one of my favorite memories of the day was walking into the backyard and seeing everything that had been in my head for months, carried out and completed. Our day ran so smoothly, I truly never once had to worry about any of the "behind the scenes". I knew Nicole was on our side, doing everything in her power to make our day perfect. And it was!
Nicole was seriously the best money spent! She has the most amazing connections, that wedding planning was truly easy, yes I said easy. Every recommendation she had, I would call and book on the spot. She was always available when I needed to chat. I would have moments where I didn't have any planning to do, and feel like i needed to be doing something, she would hop on the phone and reassure me, we are good. She is AH-MAZING! I highly recommend using Nicole as a planner either before and/or day of. The day of the wedding, it couldn't have gone smoother and more perfect. It was honestly the best day of my life - and a huge part of it was because of Nicole!
First off, let me start with saying hiring Nicole was one of the best decisions we ever made! I recently got married in September of 2014 and hired Nicole to be our partial wedding planner. We currently live on the East Coast and had our wedding in Pasadena, California, so I was already a nervous bride to begin with. We interviewed multiple people via phone and from that first conversation I knew Nicole was the BEST.
Planning a wedding is more stressful than I could have ever imagined especially planning one 3,000 miles away but after every phone call with Nicole I would just feel the stress go away. She has that personality that just makes you feel like everything is going to be alright because she's so easy to talk to and more importantly knows exactly what she’s doing. She was always available, prompt, and genuinely excited about the wedding which made me even more excited. She helped guide us along the whole process with some great ideas and recommended vendors for whatever it was that we were looking for. I didn’t get to see her too often face to face but when I was in town she always had time to meet with us. She met with us at the venue, with the florist and even met with us on one of her personal vacations in New York to create a timeline for the day of. The fact that she was on vacation and took the time to do that definitely made me know that I made the right decision. I don’t know anybody who likes to work on their vacation but Nicole really goes above and beyond for her clients.
Now to the day of the wedding. I seriously did not have to think about one detail. She handled everything and made sure it was perfect. And if anything wasn’t perfect I sure wasn’t aware of it. The only thing you should be doing on your wedding day is enjoying the moment and thanks to Nicole I enjoyed every second of it. She kept everything flowing and on time. It was one of the best days of my life, and I’m so glad that Nicole was a part of it because it definitely would not have been the same without her. If you’re debating on hiring Nicole, do not even take another second to think about it. Do it and thank her later!
Writing a review about Nicole is so hard because words can't begin to express how good she was or how much she helped. I hired Nicole for my day-of-coordinator and she went above and beyond, I couldn't have asked for more!
She was always available for me and listened to everything I needed while making great suggestions. I walked her through my vision for my wedding and felt that she was truly excited about the event. I was at ease knowing that I'd put my wedding in the hands of someone who was as invested in its success as I was. She gave my groom and I the ability to fully enjoy our wedding day because everything we had discussed with Nicole was carried out to perfection.
She is the best at what she does. She is so professional, she holds vendors accountable to keep everything on time and moving. All while being kind and aware of how emotional planning a wedding and the actual wedding day can be.

Nicole is amazing, amazing! I honestly cannot say enough great things. Although she was only my day-of coordinator, I felt her support (moral and otherwise!) throughout the entire process. I can only imagine what she could've done if she had her hands in our entire wedding from start to finish - if only!
Professionally:
From the first meeting you just know that you're in good hands. I didn't think twice about handing over such an important day to her! She is buttoned up, on top of her game, organized, she thinks of things before you even have a chance to think about them!
She provided a detailed timeline ahead of time and a run through of events for the day. While I'm sure this is something that almost all coordinators do, she does it in a way that gives you the assurance that everything is handled without a doubt in your mind that they will be - flawlessly! She prepares you for what to expect, so there isn't an ounce of apprehension or unknown going in to the day.
I had a 24 person bridal party (12 and 12) and a dog, and we got married on the beach. Lots of moving pieces! The day honestly couldn't have been any more perfect! Everything was executed to a tee (and I'm a nit-picky girl!) from set up to take down... at least from my perspective it was! If it wasn't, she did an amazing job making sure that I had no extra stress in my day. She even stopped by a few times to check in on me... give me a hug... making sure I was hanging in there. She is just wonderful. Which brings me to...

I work in the advertising industry, and there are vendors and there are partners.
-Vendors are those you hire to do a service. They come in, they do the job you paid them to do, you never see them again.
-Partners are those you hire to do a service, but they do something to provide greater impact. They truly love what they do, want to be a part of you, stand by your side and go above and beyond, and they have a passion that is clear through their work. This is Nicole. She is so amazing and wonderful and all of those things I already said above as Nicole Alexandra Events & Designs... but as an individual, she is sweet, caring, funny, and thoughtful. She takes the time to know YOU and make everything perfect for you. She is a friend.

I, like a lot of little girls, used to play “princess”. I would put on a white dress my mother had and hold audience with an unseen court. The identity and location of my prince? Well, I didn’t find that out until I was 32 years old.
We were engaged a little less than a year before tying the knot, but I believe the planning of one’s wedding truly begins in that doe-eyed stage of adolescence. We carry a picture in our head of our most special of days, conceived when the heart and mind are most unfettered.
It is a truly incredible feeling to see that picture brought to life, more vibrant in color, sound and texture than you ever imagined.

When my fiancé (now husband, YAY!) and I were in the beginning stages of wedding preparations, we did not give much thought to getting a coordinator. It was not until our photographer, the ultra-talented Tiffani Matsuura of Sun & Sparrow, advised us to, at least, have someone handle things the day-of, that we earnestly discussed it. She gave me Nicole’s information, and that in itself was a true gift.
Despite being on a well-deserved vacation in Hawaii, Nicole returned my call right away. Talk about making a great first impression! It did not take long to realize that we had to book her, and I am so thankful we did.
She was able to make sense of me saying, “We both love Thoroughbred racing. Also, it would be great if my Middle Eastern culture was represented. As for esthetics, I basically want it to look like a unicorn could pop around the corner any minute.”
Yeah. Ahem.
Guess what? With the exception of an actual unicorn, my wedding had ALL of those elements, in seamless, glorious harmony!
Officially, Nicole’s title was “day-of coordinator”, but she went far and beyond that restrictive description without even a hint of hesitation. She is someone whose heart is unquestionably sincere and whose work ethic is BEYOND. The lines of communication were always open. She gave and gave of her time (and coupons), even going shopping, not with, but FOR me. When we asked about doing a rehearsal with little heads-up, she happily obliged. She listened. She advised. She was honest. She made it easy to hand over the reins, sit back, and enjoy the ride.
She made our family and friends feel special and comfortable. Our wedding day guests were greeted by her lovely smile, and the beauty that she and my other fantastic vendors breathed into the event. My day was a smashing success, forever etched in my heart and memory.
Nicole gave me peace of mind – the FREEDOM to enjoy a sacred day I had waited for since understanding the meaning of marriage.
Nicole also gave her friendship, freely and without agenda. If all the work she put into my wedding wasn’t enough, when the event was over, she was still there for me. Knowing we were leaving for our two-week honeymoon the next day, she offered to store all of our gifts at her home until we returned, and helped load our car (!!) when we came by to pick them up!
Not only do I endorse Nicole professionally, I endorse her as a woman of integrity and class; a competent planner who can think outside the outside of the figurative box... and an amazing friend who truly cares about your happiness.

Nicole was the best decision my husband and I made during the whole wedding planning process. She is so genuine, generous, and professional. Although hired only for the "day-of," we felt that Nicole was always available to help us and make our wedding ideas come to life. She is so proactive and sweet, offering her design ideas and things she had on hand to make the wedding extra special (without asking for anything extra in return!). From our make-up artist to vintage plates, Nicole was responsible for connecting us to wonderful people and vendors. She offers to join in on meetings even before we can ask her. We left our flowers and tables all up to Nicole and we couldn't be more awed and appreciative of how she transformed our venue. She definitely saved us a lot of stress with her organization and creativity. She is honestly the best!
Nicole is AMAZING!! Seriously she is the reason I didnt completely lose my mind during this wedding process. She is very available through the entire planning process. We live in San Diego.. had the wedding in Palm Springs.. and she is loacted out of LA.. but the distance was never an issue. She is super hands on with dealing with vendor technicalities throughout the planning process and the day of the wedding she made sure everything went exactly as planned. I seriously do not even know where to begin! Nicole made our wedding dreams come true! No words will do justice to appropriately convey our love for Nicole. All of our family, friends, and guests fell in love with Nicole and the services she provided. I am the mother of the bride and live in st. Louis, MO. My daughter resides in san diego and was being married in the palm springs area. wedding planning is difficult enough when mom/bride are in the same town.
we could have never pulled off this spectacular day had it not been for Nicole Alexandra designs. Nicole was amazing in every single aspect of the wedding. Nicole suggestions for vendors was amazing. The day went off without a hitch and Nicole was with us the entire day making sure everything was perfect.

I was probably not the easiest bride to work with--not because I'm rude or scattered--but because I'm an ultra-critical and organized perfectionist, who had no "vision" of what her wedding should look like. I'm rarely impressed.
Nicole absolutely exceeded all of my expectations. She was prompt--as in NEVER one second late to any appointments/quickly responded to all my phone calls or emails--able to direct me to other vendors, always accommodating to my schedule and location, and able to improvise without breaking a sweat. She was able to smoothly coordinate schedules with a ton of different vendors (a massive headache I can't begin to imagine) and was able to anticipate and plan for several different scenarios (like, what if it rains, for example). She renegotiated many of my vendor contracts to make sure I got exactly what I wanted for the right price.
She did this all with an incredibly positive and reassuring attitude, even when I was at my most crazy, hitting the perfect balance between understanding friend and get-it-done businesswoman. She was able to zero in on and execute exactly what I wanted when I could hardly even verbalize it. Beyond her work with me she was in cahoots with my mom and others to prepare special surprises for me on the wedding day!
In the end, the worst thing that happened on my wedding day was that my wonderfully long veil got caught on a corner when I was walking down the aisle (it turned out to be funny and fitting). I can honestly say that my wedding was the most beautiful/smooth/perfect wedding I've ever been to--something that everyone wants and should have for her wedding day. Nicole was absolutely instrumental in making that happen.
Nicole is the real deal. She effortlessly executes stunning, beautiful, creative, cohesive, seamless events but more importantly she does it all with a smile on her face, joy in her heart, a plan B when something doesn't go as planned and absolute professionalism all the way. I can't say enough good things about her, she is simply the best! Cue the Tina Turner! She is truly better than all the rest and you will be in great hands!!!
Working with Nicole for my Las Vegas wedding was fantastic. Being an out of town bride it really took a lot of stress off of me having her be able to deal with the vendors, sending me pictures of all my options for flowers, linens, decor, etc. She did an absolutely AMAZING job pulling my vision together for the reception space, I was so happy walking in to all my friends and family in this beautifully decorated suite. She really has an eye for design, so I could really trust her interpretation of what I was looking for. You can tell this line of work is her passion, I would recommend her to anyone!!
For my big day, I knew exactly what I wanted for my overall scheme but not the slightest idea of what exactly the decor should be and how to execute it. The first and only person I thought of was Nicole. Since I have known Nicole, she has exuded style and always had a flare for fashion. That being said, her keen eye was exactly what I needed!
We consulted on all of the ideas, from the color scheme, the flowers, centerpieces, table linens, and ceremony design. I would call her when I was aimlessly walking around stores trying to describe what it was I wanted and would send her pictures to get her input and feedback – She was always available and helpful.
The day before my wedding, Nicole came over with an army of helpers effortlessly putting together all my flower arrangements, center pieces, and bouquets. On my wedding day, Nicole showed up early in the morning with the same team and in just over an hour, made everything from the reception room to the ceremony decor to the cake, unbelievably beautiful and everything I could have imagined.
It truly was my dream wedding and Nicole, contributing her time and talent, was undeniably what had my family and friends raving about it being “the best wedding they had ever attended”. I would trust any of my special occasions to Nicole.
Nicole had three months to plan my wedding , in another Country, and it was STUNNING.
We were married on New Year’s Eve and had the reception in a cozy restaurant at a ski resort. We had not seen the completed/decorated reception space prior to the ceremony so it was a total surprise to us when we walked in. We were blown away. It was exactly what we wanted and MORE. The ambiance was perfect.
During the planning process, Nicole was extremely helpful and proactive with all of the details. Her genuine approach and ability to comprehend my fiancé and I as a couple, was reassuring and refreshing. The day of, she was calm, relaxed, and focused on the tasks at hand.
Nicole’s passion for creating unforgettable weddings is evident and is reflected in her work. Nicole is a woman of many talents, and I felt so lucky to have her by my side during this special time in my life.
