Not only did she deliver the best wedding gallery full of amazing images, but she also was such a helpful, supportive, and fun vendor (now, turned friend) throughout the entire process. If you are in search of an AMAZING photographer who will deliver exceptional photos, look no further than Nicole! She photographed our wedding this past November at Aria in Minneapolis as well as our engagement session as a part of the package. First and foremost, her work is amazing – just look at her website to see some examples of how wonderful her pictures are. But just as importantly, she is one of the sweetest, kindest humans and helps to make you feel SO comfortable through the hundreds of pictures she takes. Let’s be honest, kissing your partner over and over in front of a camera isn’t always the most comfortable – but Nicole makes it a breeze! She made everything so easy on our wedding day; we were able to follow her lead and trust her fully and our pictures are phenomenal! We’ve gotten SO many compliments from people on how awesome they turned out (multiple people even said they look like they are from a wedding magazine). She was also so kind, patient, and flexible through our multiple date changes due to Covid. Nicole is worth every dollar – she’s super responsive and easy to work with, soooo sweet, and truly amazing at her craft! We will forever cherish the amazing photos she took of one of our most special days!

Nicole is amazing. She made us both feel comfortable and at ease during the engagement session and on our wedding day. She also put together a very helpful timeline for the day of and was very easy to communicate with. On top of being great to work with, the photos are absolutely stunning.

Nicole was the glue to our wedding process and her smiling face and gorgeous photos mark each step in our journey! She was beyond organized, prompt, talented beyond belief, and has a personality we were immediately drawn to. We had many, many guests approach us to compliment her, and her assistant shooter, for their personalities and poise. If you can land her as your photographer, there is no easier choice. P.S. She plays music sometimes while she shoots which put us at ease and made the process that much more intimate. I still listen to her playlist weekly!

Easiest review ever! Nicole was the most considerate, responsive and thoughtful vendor we had. She thinks of everythingggg and puts a personal touch on it all which not everyone does. From start to finish she executed flawlessly. And the photos speak for themselves, pure beauty! We loved the engagement session. A great practice run, so glad it was included. We booked a second photographer for the wedding and glad we did as we were able to get shots of everything we wanted. And, the gal she chose was of course just as friendly and creative as Nicole. A big bonus was the number of photos we received, it was so hard to choose favorites because there were so many!

Nicole is literally the best person you could choose for your engagement/wedding photos. She is professional, down to earth and incredible at what she does. She made us look SO. Nicole Ashley Photography exceeded our expectations. We had a fun photoshoot for our engagement photos in Minneapolis, and we loooved those photos. She had us laughing the whole time and everything looked and FELT so natural. She truly has a way to make you feel like you are the star on your own runway! ;) Our wedding though-- she was the rock we needed in a vendor. Planning a wedding is hard work, but planning a wedding during a global pandemic--- that's another story. She assured us from the beginning that she would be there and even sent us cute little plants to help cheer us up when we had to move our day. :') WHAT KIND OF VENDOR DOES THAT?? AMAZING!!!!! We still think of her sweet gesture every time we look at them. At the wedding, she was a blast!! A true friend we didn't know we were missing, captured our (my husband's) tears, our laughter-- and all of the great dance moves. We would recommend Nicole 1000 times over.

Working with Nicole has been amazing. Due to COVID, we ended up having to postpone our "big" celebration to 2021 but decided to still get legally married in a "mini-mony" on our original date. Throughout the original wedding planning, postponement and last minute planning process for the small ceremony, Nicole's communication, support, flexibility and guidance went above and beyond. She helped us think and talk through all of our options, beyond photography -- she truly made us feel like she cared about us and what we were going through every step of the way. Not only has she been the most amazing vendor to work with from a technical perspective, she is genuinely a wonderful, warm person and an absolute blast to work with! She has a talent for making you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and a no-stress, light-hearted aura that put us perfectly at ease on our wedding day. It can be so challenging to find someone to capture your wedding story in the way that is unique to you. Nicole takes the time to get to know couples and families so that she can capture your day in the most perfect way. She is so calm and laid back, but also so very professional and organized. Because of our initial "get-to-know-each other" meeting, her organization, and getting to know her at our engagement shoot, I had no concerns about photography on our wedding day. I knew Nicole would do amazing work, but when we got our album sent to us I was blown away. Nicole captured every moment and emotion on our wedding day. Okay, but WHERE TO START: Nicole is amazing and such a sweet, beautiful soul. This girl even knew about the proposal before my mom did because that is how badly I wanted this woman to be our photographer on our special day :) Nicole not only took our engagement and gorgeous wedding photos, but I also had a fun boudoir shoot as well. Her energy is contagious and she makes everyone feel comfortable & beautiful in their own skin. Photography is an investment, people, but this is the very best; here she is. Nicole is super easy to communicate with and heard out your ideas, but lent a listening ear to hear your worries, too - even if they didn't pertain to the photography aspect of the wedding at all. Long review – but Nicole is so deserving of these words. Investing our trust in Nicole was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. First and foremost, Nicole is the sweetest person and is a dream to work with. She makes you feel like the most beautiful bride, she’s passionate, full of fun and laughter (and is so calming), she is a breeze to communicate with, and working with her feels like she’s been your friend for the past five years! Nicole puts her entire self into her work, and it shows. I am absolutely amazed with her talent and all of the care and love she puts into capturing every single moment. She did an outstanding job and exceeded our expectations by far! When she first arrived (early that is) she gave me the biggest hug and compliment and got me feeling like the most beautiful bride, then she jumped right into doing her thing. Nicole’s photos aren’t just normal photos, they are photos full of soul, emotion, feelings, and passion. Nicole’s photos don’t just show you what was happening in a moment they show you how you and your loved ones feel during those moments. Her photos bring me back to every single moment, give me goosebumps, and make me feel all the emotions again. Her photos show me how happy we are, how much love and support surrounded us, and how much fun was had on our wedding day! She had amazing ideas for photos and even her ideas that I wasn’t sure of right away are now some of my favorites! Let’s be real though, I can’t pick a favorite because I am in love with every single one. Looking at her photos I can feel the “just married” feelings all over again and we all know that's the best feeling. I didn’t get a videographer and I don’t regret it at all. She captured the movement, emotion, and memories in every single photo, her photos are all I need and I am so thankful for that. On top of this all, we got our photo preview on Tuesday after our Saturday wedding! Like hello, three days later, we were pumped! And then we got our entire gallery back less than a month after our wedding!!! She knew I wanted a few photos for Christmas cards, which she said she’d get me. But instead of giving me a few she gave me over a thousand! Hello people that is unheard of! Speaking of that, picking a Christmas card photo was so hard because uhm hello over a thousand photos means over a thousand favorites. There’s not a single photo that I’m like “oh that’s not a good one of me”. She somehow captures a “good side” no matter what angle she’s coming from. Also, even my guests, family, and wedding party members have told me so many compliments about her. How she was always taking photos, they never saw her just standing around, she paid attention to all the little things. and she was making sure everything ran smoothly. She was just so kind to them and so good to work with. To sum it all up: she is a remarkable photographer. She does phenomenal work and captures everything you want her to and more. But most importantly she is an amazing person, she is a friend, loving, kind, caring, and incredibly compassionate to you and everyone involved in your day. I’m telling you, I would book her again in a heartbeat. I know she will surely be capturing our life’s exciting moments to come in the future.

Nicole’s professional work in addition to her bubbly, fun-loving personality make her the best photographer around! My husband and I were SO fortunate to have Nicole as our photographer. I’ve been lucky enough to know Nicole for almost a decade now and been able to watch her grow into a flourishing, spunky, creative and down to EARTH (like her love for the outdoors and perfect eye for capturing unique and possibly thorny special shots😁) photographer! Like sitting under a blanket next to a sunny window while sipping a mug of coffee, Nicole has the ability to warm your very soul. I had met Nicole briefly before working with her during our engagement shoot, but I didn't expect how comfortable and relaxed I'd feel with her taking our photos. And let's be real here, practically making out with someone in front of a near-stranger could be VERY awkward. With Nicole, it just wasn't. She radiates joy, and you can't help but feel joy when you're with her. It was the same during our wedding day. Nicole had a lot of good tips for us as we planned out our big day, which was extremely helpful. The day of, she was punctual and efficient (which made this type-A person very happy), but she was also very go-with-the-flow. She never added to the chaos; she managed it with the same warmth and calm she manages everything. This says nothing of the images themselves. Nicole captures moments and emotions, nothing contrived or posed about her personality or her photography. You can see people shining through her lens. Seriously, just look at some of her photos... don't you want to KNOW those people? Don't they seem like they could be your best friends? Yeah, that's Nic's way of capturing you. During my wedding planning process, the HARDEST thing for me to choose was a photographer... I don't know why but it was. When I reached out to Nicole to gather more information/get a quote etc. she responded with such enthusiasm and I just had a great feeling from the get go.
