The best engagement photos we could have ever wanted! I am so thankful to have gotten the chance to take engagment photos when we thought we wouldn't be able to due to military distance. Dorothy Nicole Photography was absolutely a joy to work with!! After interviewing many photographers for our special day we decided to choose Dorothy Nicole for many reasons. During the interview with Nicole she was personable and very friendly, she brought examples of her amazing work (not just her favorites from each wedding but complete albums) to look through so that I could have a good idea of her photographic style and if it met my expectation of what I wanted to see in our wedding photos. She was also very reasonably priced for the kind of service she provided! Most photographers we interviewed had a maximum amount of time you could have them on your special day. The average was 6-8 hours. If you want to get photos of everyone getting ready, your ceremony, and your reception, 6 to 8 hours is not enough. Nicole showed up early on our day to take pictures of us getting ready so my husband and I could take photos before our ceremony so that we didn't feel rushed during our formats after the ceremony. She captured all of the little details we so carefully put together for our wedding and we ended up with a ton of amazing photos!!! It is obvious when you look at our wedding pictures that they were taken by someone who cares about the end result and LOVES their job!!! Thank you so much for capturing the first day of the rest of our lives....

Nicole photographed our wedding. She is creative and easy to work with, a very positive and fun experience! The pictures are incredible, very artistic! We are always getting compliments! Nicole took the pictures for my wedding and they turned out just the way I hoped they would. There was a perfect mix of fun, creative, and classic shots. I feel like we got a great variety of pictures. One thing that I particularly treasure are the posed family photographs. I don't like group photos that are too formal and stiff, but I also think that some group shots can be really cheesy. Nicole took the pictures so that they were classy, but also reflected our true personalities. We love our wedding pictures!
