“WHY” I love photography is because I believe everyone should have tangible, long-lasting memories of the most cherished moments in their lives. I’m also a firm believer in loving yourself, and I strive to make sure all of my couples/clients feel as beautiful as I see them through my camera.

were left with a relatively short window before the wedding and no photographer. Our wedding coordinator provided us with a few recommendations, and Nicole was the first person I reached out to.
Catherine and I had really vibed with her shooting and editing style (and also personal style!), but I noticed she was no longer accepting wedding bookings for 2025. I reached out anyway on the off-chance that she had a cancellation that weekend. She didn't, but she graciously defied my expectations by agreeing to TRIPLE BOOK herself for the long weekend and shoot our wedding. I mention this not to recommend that if you're in a bind for a photographer four months before your wedding, you should reach out to Nicole (I would never want to inflict that upon her), but to highlight the quality of her character.
Even with the short notice, she drove down to San Diego for an engagement shoot with us. We were immediately super impressed with those photos and knew we were in more-than-capable hands. I still wasn't prepared for the final wedding photos.
To bring it back full circle, I simply couldn't have comprehended our wedding going so well. Once the ceremony started, not a single second of it was anything less than perfect. So many adorable moments that I would cherish forever. Lo and behold, when our final edit was delivered (early, right before the holidays), every single one of those moments was captured beautifully by Nicole.
So if you've made it through this review, do yourself a favor and make your wedding planning a bit easier. Look no further, and book Nicole (nice and early!) to be your photographer.

re a court date and after visiting the court and seeing the crowds decided to marry at Unitarian Society of SB (Wonderful venue/staff btw) with a micro package. After agreeing on a time Nicole emailed again trying to move the times I informed her I already had vendors (hair, makeup, & classic car rental) set at a specific time to meet our previous schedule. She asked how many people were attending our wedding i informed her it would be 28 and she sent an email giving me two options either pay her an additional $400 for the same 3 hour coverage to cover the 8 additional guests as he elopement package was limited to 20 people or pay an additional $1700 for 5 hour coverage (almost double the initial price). At first I said no as I felt 1 month out from our wedding this was an insane ask for 8 people in the back of a ceremony that might not even be photographed. I expressed my desire from the very beginning to have beautiful couples pictures this was my only request couples pictures and family portraits (close family only). She would not attend the ceremony unless I paid the $400 ultimately I conceded and paid the extra $400 for the 8 guests (none of which were photographed). Our agreement was 3 pm to 7 pm (3 hour of coverage) we ran late and arrived at the courthouse at 3:45 I thought the $400 dilemma was behind us and even wrote her a card/tip the night before as I did with all my vendors in anticipation for a good service but she was cold and standoff-ish the entire time. Since we didn’t have more than 20 minutes of couples photos I let her know alter the ceremony during cocktail hour (6-7pm) we could take the rest. After the ceremony she took a few photos with mariachi and a few with guests and then disappeared to take “details” photos for at least 20 minutes returned and took a few of us cutting the cake and said “ok I think we got it” (we in fact did not have it as evidenced by the gallery she delivered) I requested a picture of us under the veil and she complied and left immediately after. She was gone by 6:40 pm. She was in a rush to leave but I did not realize why until the morning after my wedding I saw a post she made on instagram bragging about making it back in time from SB for a concert her husband had gotten tickets for. This explained the rush but I found it to be so unprofessional and completely unacceptable. Ultimately there are very few good pictures that came from her work she somehow managed to take a picture of every inanimate object at my wedding to meet the minimum photo requirement of our contract so if you are into that she is the one for you. Fortunately I had the means to re-shoot my wedding photos which came out wonderful with a kind and professional photographer. I am posting this as a warning to other brides please be careful when dealing with this person she is not only unprofessional but honestly spiteful.

Our wedding way was full of chaos but Nicole was the calm in the storm capturing every detail and emotion throughout our day, I am finding adequate words to express my gratitude for everything she did for us. She was there making sure every part of my outfit and my husbands were in the right place, carrying our rings, adjusting my train, making sure my hair was photo ready, finding the best spots for photos at our venue, running back and forth for anything we needed, making sure we were fed and hydrated as well as standing back to let the day run its course and capturing every little detail and interaction.
She is unequivocally the best choice, and if given the opportunity, I would select her time and time again. This review is a follow up to the review I left about our engagement shoot and when I ned to book a photographer again, I would absolutely book her. I will look forward to getting family, holiday portraits, and boudior done with her in the future!

It took about a day or two to receive my sneak peaks which I was not expecting at all! About two mo this to receive my full gallery and can i just say, AMAZING. One of the things I had asked her for was to make sure to photograph my family and almost all guests were photographed.
I love her editing style which led me to contact her in the first place anyway. Her second photographer whose name is also Nicole also did so good. They knew exactly what to tell us so that the pictures would be posed correctly. I feel like I could be awkward sometime so that was a lot of help.
I’m ASIDE from being good at photography, Nicole is super easy going. She took pre wedding pictures on her own a couple days before the wedding and you can tell she loves what she does. Would totally recommend and hire her again.

n a subtle way by taking us to a spot overlooking the stadium. It was our first time taking professional photos like this as a couple, so we felt a bit awkward at first. Nicole guided us through each pose and made us feel very comfortable. After this photoshoot, we knew she was going to be our wedding photographer. We booked her ASAP since she gets pretty busy! We also took advantage of a Black Friday deal she had for a 30-minute "mini" session. We included our dog in these and they came out absolutely beautiful! Our family and friends still talk about one particular photo with each of our hands and our dogs little paw. She has a payment plan that made it very helpful for us to budget and manage for our wedding day photography. Her online payment portal is user-friendly and simple. Once the big day came, her and her second shooter were awesome. Our family and guests said they were both friendly and professional. The day after the wedding, we received a handful of sneak peek photos, which we were so impressed by the quick turn around and quality of the photos. I felt like we looked like we came from a magazine! Nicole is just a special person overall. She is highly talented when it comes to photography, passionate about her profession and takes her business seriously. You don’t just want a photographer that just clicks a button and is cheap, you want a photographer that is engaging, has an editing style that you love, has a great personality, makes you feel comfortable and look beautiful, and is worth the price you’re paying. Nicole is all of that and more. I randomly found her Instagram one day through hashtags months before I even officially got engaged (😜). I remember being immediately drawn to her posting a queer POC couple on her page along with how beautiful she made them and the rest of her clients look. I just LOVE her editing style! As I kept following her, I noticed she seemed like a pretty cool person too, so when it was time to book a photographer around the time we actually got engaged, I knew she was the one right away. Before we even had a date or a venue!!!! She was very patient with me (lol) when I had so many flip-floppy ideas about our engagement shoot, and she was always able to share her thoughts in a professional but fun way. The day of our engagement shoot, she (and her fiancé) David made my fiancé Mike and I feel super comfortable in front of the camera and she was very respectful as well. When we got our pictures my fiancé kept saying “wow we look amazing in all of these”, and honestly it’s all thanks to Nicole’s eye and genuine talent for photography, as well as her professionalism. I have recommended her to my friends and am considering her for other photoshoots in the future! which is when I knew she was nothing short of amazing. Nicole recently captured my Yosemite elopement and did not disappoint. She was so helpful throughout the process and always made sure myself, my husband, and guests felt comfortable, plus she knows exactly how to position people to capture their best angle. Nicole also goes the extra mile for her clients by sending sneak peaks as soon as possible, which is extremely helpful. I cannot wait for Nicole to continue capturing all of our special moments and I have no doubt she'll do the same when you book her!

Let me tell you she blew us away! Nicole was the best photographer we could have asked for! We just received our full wedding gallery and I am still in awe as to how beautiful all the photos were. Nicole was detail oriented and would go to great lengths to make sure that stray hairs, sleeves, flowers, jewelry etc were in the right spot and perfect for pictures. She made us feel so comfortable despite not being big on PDA, we got amazing shots of us kissing, looking at each other etc. She was organized, on time and kept us on our schedule as well. She worked so well with our other vendors and her second shooter, Frank was amazing as well and the groomsmen loved him. Despite being so busy Nicole sent us a sneak peek as soon as she could and delivered the gallery ahead of estimated date. She truly goes above and beyond as a photographer! I recommend Nicole to everyone and anyone! I like to say that she was the one of best investments of our wedding! If you're on the fence, just book her, I promise you that she will capture the most beautiful photos of your big day!

She took care of minor details (fixing my wind blown hair, fluffing my dress up, reminded me about putting on extra lotion, etc.) - just all of the things! She was incredible, and there’s no price you can put on someone who genuinely cares about YOU for the time they’re with you, on your special day. She surpassed any expectations that we had, and made us feel so incredibly comfortable on our day, and you really can’t beat that!

We were finally able to get our engagement pictures taken last month and let me tell you the wait was SO worth it. Our engagement pictures are beautiful and we could not be any happier with the images we received. It was our first time getting professional pictures taken and she made us feel so at ease in front of the camera.
