t was *so* important that we captured the intimate, quiet, meaningful moments in the city we fell in love in and now call home. I had a Pinterest board with very specific photos I’d been dreaming about, and Nicole went above and beyond to make sure I got **every single shot** I had envisioned (and then some I didn’t even know I needed).
Her photos aren’t just beautiful — they’re *alive*. She somehow captures the realness and emotion of the moment in a way that doesn’t feel posed or forced. When we got our gallery back, it felt like reliving the day exactly as it happened — all the joy, the nerves, the love, the little in-between moments. Those are the images that matter most, and Nicole nails them effortlessly.
Also: Nicole is incredibly organized, which made the day feel calm and easy. She planned a timeline that didn’t just focus on the locations we wanted — she timed everything around the best light, the best angles, and the best flow so we weren’t rushing or stressed. It felt thoughtful, intentional, and honestly… it made the whole experience feel even more special.
I will be using Nicole for every milestone in my life from here on out. If you’re even considering booking her, do it. You will never regret it.

d, who isn’t wild about getting pictures taken, immediately got off our initial call with Nicole and said “book it- shes the one, we are done here”. We would not even consider anyone else after chatting with Nicole. She has the warmest personality while still having the best “hype man” energy. Our engagement photos were flawless and amazing and Nicole really has a passion for making sure they captured who we are as a couple in the places in our neighborhood that we love. Planning a wedding during a pandemic wasn’t the best, but Nicole was communicative and made sure that everything was perfect going into our wedding day- even changing up the timeline last minute when my husband said he wanted to spend less time taking photos with his groomsmen before the ceremony. Nicole genuinely wants your wedding day to be perfect. When Nicole and her second shooter Chrissy arrived at our hotel room, they were such a calming presence, always reassuring me that I wasn’t being too crazy (I absolutely was), and keeping me sane while waiting for our ceremony to start. When I was being high strung, she turned her camera around and showed me a photo and said “see- you look beautiful”. We didn’t do a first look and I was initially worried about not having enough time for family formals and couples portraits after our ceremony, but Nicole is so efficient that everything got done in time for us to grab a drink at cocktail hour, but we never felt rushed. During a bridal party shot Nicole took from across the LaSalle St bridge, my matron of honor turned to me and said “damn your photographer is a real one”. I couldn’t agree more. Choosing Nicole to photograph our wedding was our BEST decision- Jake even said our couples photos were “so much fun”- and we can’t wait to have her capture more important moments in our future ❤️

her in 2014 (probably before that since we started searching for a photographer at least a year prior to our wedding) and continue to have her document moments in our life from anniversaries, a new home and hopefully if things allow our maternity shoot/newborn photos. nervous about, and they turned out exactly how we wanted. We went to multiple locations, walked on bridges, went to different neighborhoods, and had awesome sun set pics. She helped us every step of the way. Leading up to the wedding she was super responsive. She helped me with my timeline, and made me feel even more calm about the day. On the day of, she was INCREDIBLE. I had a rowdy and large group, and she kept everyone on track, organized, and looking amazing. The photos are incredible and exactly what I wanted for the day. y husband and I couldn't have better things to say about Nicole and her team. They were such hustlers, getting us where we needed to be in a very short amount of time but also taking the time to make sure they were capturing what we wanted. I didn't have to worry about what the frame was because the trust was instant after our engagement photos session months prior.
She's funny, sarcastic, genuine, and professional. If she didn't like a photo she took, she admitted it and tried again. Nicole gave us a sneak peak of a few images only 24 hours after our wedding and they brought me to tears. Her talent shines through her photos-- I honestly thought they were taken from a bridal magazine and not my husband and I at first. We cannot wait to see more of them soon!

for a venue and we hired Nicole to do our wedding photos after I saw her pictures from a wedding we had at my venue. They looked like editorial magazine images and I knew we had to have her right then! Nicole also did our engagement photos for free since we hired her for the wedding which was amazing! She made us feel completely comfortable and captured every moment perfectly! Our engagement pictures were INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL! We couldn't get over how impressive they were and knew we were in good hands.
Along with taking our pictures, we convinced our friends who were getting married to also use her and their photos were fantastic! We really got to know Nicole from seeing her so often and she is truly the sweetest person and so good at what she does. She was also very responsive during the process and really cared about our event. I'm actually sad that we don't get to see her anymore! We'll definitely be using her for future family pictures as well!
On the day of the wedding she got to our hotel earlier than planned and got going right away, she took care to get pictures of everything we asked her to and was always conscious of timeline so we didn't have to worry. She even stayed after her required time to get some full group photos of all of our guests!
Her vision is absolutely amazing and one of a kind. Photographers are one of the most important vendors for your wedding and your images will last a lifetime. With that said, if you're looking for a fantastic photographer for your big day, look no further! Trust me, you won't be disappointed if you choose Nicole!
