my best to address each point you wrote. You mention my communication being subpar, however I received multiple texts and emails from you, and while looking through them I see responses.  I did not give you an attitude when replying- just simply asked that you (and all my couples) please email me instead. The majority of text messages are sent on weekends while I am shooting, email ensures our communication stays organized so I can respond quickly. I would like to specifically address the text you sent that says “Hey again!! We’re on our last day of honeymoon before we head home tomorrow. Jeff leaves me for a work trip first thing Tuesday morning so the wedding depression is going to hit hard. Was hoping that I could look forward to seeing some pictures while I’m home alone this week. I know you’re busy with moving and probably more weddings this weekend, just feeling a bit antsy!” Despite being in the middle of moving like you acknowledge, and an incredibly busy wedding season, I sent over the images you asked for in the timeframe I responded with. I provide the same amount of sneak photos to every couple, and this is my first complaint of the number of images as well as the timeframe receiving them. 2021 was an extremely busy year with Covid reschedules and all photographers, not just myself, were swamped. Most couples were completely understanding of this, as I was very upfront and honest with everyone about how busy this past season was for me. Additionally, your wedding agreement states that galleries will be delivered within 90 days of the wedding. Rarely do my couples wait the full 90 days for their gallery, and yours was sent out before the 90 days as well. While addressing communication, my wedding agreement also states that two weeks prior to the wedding the questionnaire must be completed so I am able to put together a timeline for the couple to sign off on. The questionnaire was not completed within the timeframe, and final details were emailed to me the night before the wedding. The timeline was not signed off on as well as your final balance was paid late. I give direction during every wedding, especially during portraits, and follow my timeline that includes a list of photos (received from the couple, pulled directly from the wedding questionnaire) and the order I will capture them in. Not once have I ever put the organization of photos on the couple- but on the multiple video calls we had I did stress that you would need a designated friend or family member to help gather the photo groups so we could streamline the photo process. This is also stated on the wedding agreement "The photographer will NOT be held accountable for not capturing desired photographs if there is no one to assist in identifying or gathering people/items/locations for the photograph(s)/ The Parties agree to positive cooperation and communication for the best possible result within the definition of this assignment. Nicole Lagoe Photography is not responsible for key individuals’ failure to be present or to cooperate during photographer session, neither for missed images due to details not revealed to Nicole Lagoe Photography." Typically the couple, friends and family are extremely cooperative during this time and this is the first time I have had to refer to this section in my wedding agreement. At every wedding I begin with either the family or wedding party, and end with couples portraits. I do this because this allows the couples to have a more private setting as these photos are more intimate and emotional, and having friends and family staring can make the couple uncomfortable and distracting, making it harder for me to direct and pose the two of you. At your wedding we began photographing the groomsmen almost immediately after the ceremony, and looking at the timestamps on the images not 20 minutes in like you suggest. There is a large variety of photos of your 24 person wedding party, from the standard line up and smile, to cheering, to walking together laughing and interacting. These are the standard images I capture for every wedding. There are not many places a group of 24 people will fit at this venue as it's a fenced area surrounded by roads and parking lots. After suggesting we begin family photos you wanted to continue with wedding party combinations that were not included on the photo list, which is completely fine, but I did recommend that we begin shooting the photos of most importance to you because cocktail hour was coming to an end. At one point you even looked at me and said "I guess this is why couples do a first look". Your husband's immediate family was unable to be located while we were shooting the family photos, and this was brought to your attention multiple times- however I did photograph you, Jeff and his parents when we finished your couples portraits.  You also mentioned the light was not as good for your portraits as it was for wedding party/family photos. Most couples are thrilled to do their portraits during golden hour and often request it. You state that there were no images of the outdoor area, there are details from the outdoor patio that are included in the gallery (signs, cigars, etc) and at no point were there any guests outdoors when I was able to get outside to photograph. Had additional details of the patio been of that much importance that is definitely something that should have been included on the questionnaire under "other must have photos", without these requests I am working off of my own creative judgement. We began entrances and formalities immediately following portraits. Like I mentioned via email, for the photos of guests during cocktail hour we would have needed to do a first look or you would have needed a second photographer, which you decided against to save money. I unfortunately can only be in one place, and was with you and your wedding party while guests were outside on the patio. You are correct that I did recommend the videographers, but I do not have any emails or calls from them asking for photos.  I have worked with them in the past, and this would be the first time they (or any videographer in my past 11 years of shooting weddings) have reached out to ask me for photos to add to their video. This is simply not true, and I have searched my email and call logs and received no requests. I feel I gave the same attention and energy to your wedding as I do all of my couples. I don’t feel my time or work was worth such a negative review, with some things just being inaccurate. I feel I tried in every way to make you happy, and include all photos you asked for with the time I was given. I wish you and Jeff all the best. Thank you. e that someone would leave an anonymous review for something as important as their wedding day instead of making contact with their photographer. This leads me to believe this review was written in error since none of the claims are true for any of the weddings I have photographed. I can't dispute this review with specific facts without knowing who posted it, and this is also the only review I have ever received where the wedding date was left blank; but I can say that as a wedding photographer I take my job very seriously, and handle each client's experience professionally. I make it a point to connect with each couple before my departure and ensure that there are no last-minute requests, so I know this review is not from a wedding client I have worked with. Or the client is misrepresenting facts from their wedding day. In either case, no client has reached out to express their dissatisfaction with their experience with me. Had a client come to me with any of these concerns, I would have done my best to work towards a resolution with them.

had even texted me saying you were sad that we probably wouldn't be seeing one another again- to which I responded I would be more than happy to catch up for a drink if you were going to be in my area. I was happy to consider you guys friends. As you know, I send out a pretty detailed questionnaire before each wedding to make sure I deliver every image my couple wants. Looking back at your list and reviewing your gallery, I have delivered every photo you asked for. I am confused by a lot of the things you mentioned in your review- you mention no images of your ring exchange and I have counted 10+. Detail shots of the lanterns, cake pops, dress, shoes, etc. are all there. There are several pictures of Mark and his mom, and you mention a bridal party but you did not have a traditional bridal party. You only had a ring bearer and flower girl, and I see several photos of them as well. You state the images are dark, and I am seeing pretty well lit photos that look very consistent with my other work. You also mentioned creativity- you had several specific poses you wanted that were not typically something I would do without being asked (you and Mark reading a fairytale book to each other, you pretending to sleep, Mark putting on your shoe, you pretending to play piano, etc.) and I was more than happy to make these photos happen and deliver them. I pride myself on capturing natural and real emotion, and my couples choose me because I don't over pose them. As far as being non responsive for 3 months this is certainly not true. You texted me quite often checking in, and had even reached out to me after a family member had passed away to see how I was doing. Sending your gallery invite to the wrong email initially was definitely a mistake on my part, to which I corrected and sent to the right one after you texted me saying you did not receive it. Your gallery also keeps track of when images are downloaded and I show photos being downloaded by Mark at that time of delivery and also posted all over social media. I truly do not feel my time and work was worth a one star review. If you still believe your images are too dark, and would like me to make some changes please reach out via email, but I wish you had contacted me last year about this when you received your gallery. Again, I'm very sorry you feel this way and would like to make this right.
