t like we were in some kind of ethereal woodland. And both our engagement and wedding photos captured the love we feel in a way I didn’t even know was visible. You should absolutely check out her work for yourself to see how talented she is. But what’s also really really important is that we enjoyed taking photos with her! Nicole has the kind of calming presence you want on a hectic day and she very quickly figured out how to use our dynamic as a couple to get the perfect photo. On our wedding day, we had a tight schedule and then a lot of family members to wrangle and Nicole was a total champ about it. Highly, highly recommend booking with her!

time friends. It was easy to talk with Nicole and share what we wanted. Nicole discussed the venue with us and had ideas of what kind of shots she thought we would like. She provided easy forms to fill out to note what we wanted for photos and who were in them for the formal part of the photos. And for me being so type A person who likes to take control, Nicole provided instant relief knowing I could pass on my control to her on the big day knowing we were in the best of hands. She shot our engagement photos and traveled a couple hours to us and then shot our wedding! Everything about the experience to the photos were beyond our expectations. Even our guests and wedding party expressed how nice and professional she was! I look at our photos often and they bring me so much joy!

She didn’t bat an eye when we told her we wanted to end our engagement session with a cliff jumping shot in Lake George in October. She was flexible, adaptable, and reliable. lax in front of the lens. The Deets: My husband and I loved working with Nicole from the very start! She was consistently kind, professional and punctual. Communication was easy and efficient! She made us feel like we were in such good hands. Since my husband is camera-averse, it was important for us to find someone who could make the process fun and relaxed. From the first minute of our engagement shoot Nicole made it clear that we were in the right hands! There was no pressure to “perform” and she just gave us little directives as we needed them. The mix of conversation and photo-taking was perfect to put even my husband at ease. Our wedding day continued the good vibes! Nicole and her second shooter were right on time and proceeded to be a dynamic duo. I had quite the laundry-list of portraits and they tackled them with ease. Where Nicole truly shines is in the unposed, natural moments of the day. She captured the mushy-lovey fun and tears all day, making sure to get those little moments of magic in between. Nicole worked seamlessly with my videographer as well. The two of them were less concerned about the rain of the day and more so with our comfort shooting in it. We were game and they both made that rain look like a paid actor! Nicole's photos beautifully reflect the syrupy rich colors I remember, grounding my experience of the wedding day. Many of our guests have commented on how great the photos were and how amazing it was that our photographer captured them while never getting in the way. When I finally did pick a handful to choose from it was still waiting for emails back, or being told up to six months to get my photos back (I respect photographers but that just seemed so long) or some didn’t even respond. Well Nicole Lagoe Photography answered pretty much right away, and scheduled a call for us the same week. I know I wasn’t the easiest client because I had so many questions and high expectations (which she took care of them all) The process was soooo easy after that call! I got a little questionnaire to fill out and basically put all the pictures I wanted and information that I felt was pretty important on that. Then she said I get a handful of previews, and gave me the exact date my gallery would be sent over (which I needed because who wants to be guessing if or when they will be coming lol) I got my sneaks which were AMAZING and my completed photos actually a few days before the due date which was an unexpected surprise. My photos are beautiful and I know well worth the wait because I had A LOT as my wedding was a long day. Thank you Nicole for being so kind and patient with me and for making choosing you as a photographer so easy and the best decision ever.

We were planning our wedding from abroad and Nicole was always so supportive and patient as we went through the planning process. When we finally met her in-person on our wedding day, it was as if we had always known her. Nicole instantly made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and not only did we appreciate this, our guests did too. By the end of the night Nicole had become part of the wedding party and we didn't want her to leave. All of our pictures are incredible and we are so grateful to Nicole for capturing so many special moments throughout the day.
