Nicole is an absolute artist in every sense of the word. She truly captured the old Hollywood starlet look I was aiming for my bridal makeup, and all my bridesmaids looked stunning as well. She is extremely quick and efficient with her time, and truly puts you at ease throughout the process.

I hired Nicole for my hair and makeup at my wedding and she was amazing!! Before even meeting me, Nicole was excited about my vision and doing everything to be accommodating. She offered to come to my getting ready location even though it was just me getting my hair and makeup done so I wouldn’t have to travel out of my way to her studio. At my trial, she was so sweet and made me feel totally comfortable. She asked a lot of questions to get exactly what I wanted and she knocked it out of the park. The morning of my wedding she came to my parents house to do my hair and makeup and blended in with everyone perfectly! She was fun, kind, and I looked and felt like an absolute movie star. I did danced ALOT throughout the night and when I got home, my hair and makeup looked just like it did right after she finished it! I cannot recommend her highly enough!!!

I hired Nicole and The Beauty Soiree for my wedding and rehearsal dinner. We clicked immediately at my trial. She gave me exactly what I wanted and then some! I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. Cecily did my hair and I felt like a celebrity! They both vibed with my bridal party and we had a really fun, relaxed time. When i tell you she went above AND BEYOND to get me out of a bind on my wedding day, i mean it. we all want our wedding to be smooth sailing but the most valuable vendors are those who are incredible at their job AND take it professionally and seriously. We love Nicole!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Beauty Soiree. Not only is Nicole fantastic to work with, she is kind and helpful. As a 2022 bride, the vendor crunch was real! Nicole got back to me in a timely fashion and was able to secure a team for my wedding hair and make up. Brianna (makeup) and Brittany (hair) were both a dream come true. Brianna listened each of my bridesmaids and made sure their makeup was exactly what they wanted - some wanted a more natural look while others wanted a bit more glam. I loved my wedding day makeup. Brianna helped me pick a lip color that I felt like myself in - easier said than done, and I cannot thank her enough for her patience during my trial. Not only did our make up look great, but it lasted all day! My hair was an absolute dream. Brittany made sure my hair was exactly how I wanted it and my curls lasted well into the day after my wedding. Don’t ask me how, but it was magic! She helped my MOH learn how to put in my veil and take it out without messing anything up. She seriously thought of everything! Booking a trial was a win all around. It helped me share any inspiration and iron out any changes so my wedding day was completely dress free. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an all around wonderful experience and top notch hair and makeup!

Nicole, Cecily, and team are incredible. They did hair and makeup for myself, six bridesmaids, and my mom and mother-in-law. Everything turned out perfectly. They were efficient and fun to be around! Nicole and her team were AMAZING! Nicole was my makeup artist and Ashley was my hair artist and I cannot say enough good things about their services. They were both incredibly accommodating and flexible, their skills are phenomenal, and their personalities make you feel like you're surrounded by friends. They really do everything in their power to put the bride first and make the bride feel comfortable throughout the entire process, and most importantly - they are so open and accommodating to feedback/concerns. The day of the wedding, Nicole and Ashley (and team) did hair and makeup for me (bride), my maid of honor, flower girl, and mother of the bride. They made everyone look gorgeous and feel comfortable every step of the way. I could not have asked for a better experience and I received endless compliments throughout the entire wedding day. I would absolutely hire Nicole and Ashely for another event.

Nicole was the best MUA I could have asked for! She did 8 bridesmaids and myself on my wedding and was so quick and efficient! Her vibe was amazing and made all of us women feel beautiful! I would recommend her over and over again! So thankful for Nicole!

YASSSSSS - do yourself a favor and hire Nicole and her team for your wedding! Nicole worked her magic on both mine and my sisters wedding (we got married a month apart) - they are extremely easy to work with (it was like getting ready with a bunch of good friends not vendors) & very accommodating with early morning start times. I had a brunch wedding and had to start hair & make up at 5:30AM. Plus, I love that she & her team all have experience with all skin tones & hair textures. They made me feel absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day & I can't recommend them enough!

Nicole and Ashley (Hair) were absolutely AMAZING! Seriously, I have never felt more gorgeous in my entire life. Nicole was prompt, she helped answer all of my questions and was extremely polite! Every single person during the wedding day loved their makeup and hair! We had a broad range of wishes and she did everything from natural to full glam! Nicole was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole wedding process! She was quick in responding to my emails, and answered all of the many questions I had. She showed up exactly when she said she would, and made sure she thoroughly sanitized after each person. During the bridal trial and the day of the wedding, she made sure that I was satisfied with how I looked. My two bridesmaids also loved their makeup! I don’t normally wear much makeup, and she nailed the “soft, natural glam” look I was going for. Give her and her crew a call for your wedding day!

Nicole and her team were phenomenal and so easy going. We had 6 bridesmaids, mother of the groom and myself the bride all done with such great timing. They were flawless with the hair styles and the makeup made all of our beauty pop. Nicole especially brought out everyone’s eyes which I loved. No big touch ups were needed before the ceremony and Nicole customized all the girls makeup to what they wanted. I loved my natural glam because I don’t wear a lot of makeup and it never felt like I had a lot on. Nicole and her team traveled to Charlottesville for our May wedding and they rocked it. She made it through myself, 5 bridesmaids and 2 mothers in record time and everyone looked gorgeous. Oh my god, I don't think I have enough words to describe how incredible Nicole is! She did my makeup (and her team did my hair) for my engagement party, the night before my wedding, and my wedding day. I had both an American and an Indian ceremony, and she stuck around all day to help change my look and make sure I looked flawless as I moved from event to event. I had a soft, natural look for the American ceremony and a slightly more glammed up look for the Indian one. I have NEVER felt more beautiful than I did that day, and having Nicole's humor, confidence boosting personality, and efficiency on my side helped make the whole getting ready process so enjoyable! Also, did I mention how fast she works?! She and her team did hair and makeup for 11 people and were done an hour ahead of schedule- such a great thing on an already busy and stressful day!! I loved working with Nicole so much and will go to her every time I want to look and feel my best!

Nicole and her friend/hair stylist Cecily were AMAZING!! I did a trial with Nicole in her cute Richmond studio on a Saturday before my bridal shower (amazing!) and she listened to all the changes I wanted to make for the day of. She traveled all the way to Charlottesville for my wedding and only charged $50 for travel which was amazing. The day of I was a nervous wreck yelling commands and generally freaking out. Nicole and Cecily did my hair and makeup so flawlessly that as soon as I saw it all put together I was instantly relieved. They were so efficient and got everyone done ahead of schedule! They put up with my diva-ness, were patient when members of my bridal party were late, and best of all, their prices were FANTASTIC. I would recommend Nicole to anyone looking for bridal makeup. Do not hesitate to reach out to her, even if you're just interested and want to hear more. She is very quick to respond (I mostly contacted via facebook message) and is always so pleasant and kind. Nicole did my makeup, as well as my bridesmaids and my mother on my wedding day and she was AMAZING. She was quick and efficient, but also flawless. She could not have done a better job, honestly, and she was so easy to work with and just top to bottom perfect as far as a makeup artist. I also had her do my rehearsal dinner makeup, and she was super easy to work with for that as well. In fact, I had an emergency right before my appointment, and she agreed to come to us and set up her entire station so quickly and got my and my best friend's makeup done in record time (helpful given that I had tried to chop my finger off by accident and was bleeding nonstop). I have booked Nicole to do makeup for my holiday party as well and I genuinely wish I had more events to book her for because she does such an amazing job.

Ok so here’s the thing, Nicole is a wizard with eyes, brows and lips, and if you have oily skin she’s also really wonderful, as someone with skin as dry as a desert I’d have to pass. I️ don’t typically wear Foundation or concealer so I️ any time I️ do I️ hate the feeling, but something I️ hate worse? Cake face; and that’s pretty much what I was rocking all night, that being said it looked flawless in photos. So I’m feeling very conflicted. Also when you book there are a few things I️ didn’t see coming, like a $50 travel fee for an in town wedding and also she books more than 1 wedding a day so it feels rushed. If need her for event makeup I️ say yes 100% get her to do it. She is knowledgeable and very talented but for a wedding I️ would rather feel like more of a priority.

Nicole Laughlin (makeup) and Nicole Coker (hair) were both a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding and the day of. They came out to the venue and flawlessly handled hair and makeup on myself, 6 bridesmaids and 2 mothers. Everyone looks amazing! They both took well to criticism after the original trial as well and there were no issues when we did my final look!

I used Nicole and Cecily for my on-site hair and make-up. They did an amazing job making sure that I looked the best that I could and my bridesmaids and mom, too! I appreciated their flexibility throughout the whole process. I changed up my hair about two weeks out from the wedding and requested another hair trial. They also were able to accommodate us when our wedding date moved up one day due to the arrival of Hurricane Matthew! Thank you so much for the great work!

Nicole and Kelsey did an AMAZING JOB on hair and make-up for my wedding!! All 8 of my bridesmaids looked amazing in addition to my mother, the bridesmaid and myself!
