We first found Nicole through The Knot when we were planning our wedding, and we immediately fell in love with her photography style. We loved the natural, warm light in her photos and knew right away that it was exactly the look we were hoping for. We also had the chance to work with Nicole the year before our wedding, when she photographed our elopement, which was included in our package as our engagement session. After that experience, there was no question that we wanted her to photograph our official wedding celebration, too! From the very beginning, Nicole has an incredible ability to make you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. During our elopement, she guided us through poses and all the essential elements of the photoshoot so naturally that we left feeling confident that the photos would be amazing — and they absolutely were! By the time our wedding day arrived the following year, we already knew we were in great hands. Nicole made everything feel so easy, especially the family and group portraits. She had taken the time to learn everyone's names and relationships from the questionnaires she sent us ahead of time, which made the whole process incredibly organized and personal. We never felt like we were just being shuffled around for photos. One of the most memorable parts of working with Nicole is how much she made us laugh. She had us whisper our favorite condiments into each other's ears, sniff each other's cheeks, and generally embrace our silly and fun side. 😂 Those little moments helped us forget that we were being photographed and made the BIG DAY feel much less intimidating. We were able to genuinely be ourselves, and we think that really shows in the photos. And the photos themselves? Absolutely incredible. They are warm, beautiful, natural, and full of emotion. Nicole captured not only how everything looked, but how the day actually felt. Looking through our gallery brought back all the little moments and emotions we experienced that day, which is exactly what we wanted from our wedding photography. We cannot recommend Nicole highly enough! She is incredibly talented, organized, fun, thoughtful, and wonderful to work with. We feel so lucky that we found her through The Knot and that she was able to be part of both our elopement and our wedding celebration.
