because let's face it, having someone you hardly know take your picture isn't always the most comfortable experience. However, Nicole has this magical and humbling quality to her that makes you feel at ease when you are around her. She welcomed me into her home and even offered me food. Then, she spent about forty minutes applying my makeup and explained everything she was doing as she did it. When it came time to do the photoshoot, I looked and felt fabulous. She was so thorough with giving me instructions on how to pose, angle my face, and where to look-- she made me feel like a pro! By the end of our session, I felt confident, beautiful, and like I gained a new friend. If you are considering having Nicole do your makeup for your wedding, it should be a no-brainer. DO IT. This woman is beyond talented, not to mention how friendly and professional she is. The photoshoot I mentioned was a few years ago, and if she didn't leave such a lasting impression on me, then I would have never went out of my way to write this review!

is FLAWLESS! We did my trial on the day of my bridal shower and after talking through personal preferences and Pinterest pages, she 100% nailed the look I was hoping for. On my wedding day I asked her to make one small tweak and the end result was even more perfect than I imagined! My bridal party and I looked and felt like a million bucks when Nicole was done working her magic. We enjoyed compliments on our makeup all day/night! Not only is she an amazingly talented artist, but you will feel like you're hanging out with your best friend. She is so sweet! I've had people do my makeup before like they were doing their own face and I know it takes an intuitive artist like Nicole to be able to work with a variety of faces and still be able to complement the unique features in each one. Nicole is very professional and goes the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable; her tools are always organized and clean and she even lugs her own makeup chair around wherever she is working, which is a luxury some people may not understand until they've had makeup artists bending over them awkwardly or asking them to sit or stand in uncomfortable positions while they try to maneuver around the chairs and tables on location that are more often than not less than ideal for putting a beautiful face of makeup on a stranger. Nicole is so friendly and easy to talk to (which is nice when you're literally face to face with someone for an extended period of time 😉). Another thing that I personally appreciate as an animal lover is her use of cruelty-free products. Not only is she an exceptionally talented artist but It is important to her that you love the final result (I know I always do!). I greatly look forward to the next time I get to have my makeup done by Nicole :)

. Nicole met me where I was at with my knowledge. She took time to explain the different types of makeup products available, we went through what I have for makeup, and throughout our session, she gave tips of what I should look for with buying new products and how to stay budget friendly. Her tips as we completed the makeup lesson were so helpful and she did an excellent job of showing me what to do and then allowing me to practice the technique as well. I also appreciated that she adjusted her session to my budget! I loved that she gave me ideas of easy and quick makeup days and then also showed me how to dress up my look a bit more for a night out! She was so personable and comfortable to be around and never made me feel like I didn't know anything (which I didn't until she taught me!). I would highly recommend Nicole to anyone who is looking for some coaching in this area!

arrive early. I was a little worried about everyone getting there on time but they were there bright and early! I woke up, opened the door, and they were ready to go. Nicole is professional and kind. Your wedding day is hectic and crazy and she keeps everything calm. My make up looked absolutely perfect in my wedding pictures and lasted all day. It lasted longer than my hair, it even lasted longer than my dress (ha!) She's also gentle with your face. I've had people do my make up in the past and I felt like I was being poked at. Nicole is gentle and is never stabbing you in the face with a make up brush. I would recommend her to anyone looking to get make up done! She's truly an artist!

my skin on my face to burn. When the recommendations from dermatologist and allergist did not work, I immediately thought of Nicole. She was able to recommend a lotion and natural oils that helped soothe the burn and repair my skin. She also taught me a skin care routine, how to apply makeup on top of the oils, and recommended makeup that works well with extremely dry skin. I have experienced several similar allergic reactions since, but the oils and lotion always help to expedite my recovery. You know you're in good hands when your makeup artist's advice trumps your dermatologist's!

I learned how to apply concealer, foundation and an undereye concealer with a natural finish that doesn't feel over done but also looks flawless. - I didn't just want her to do my makeup, I wanted to hang out with her because she was so great to be around! The trial was very detailed, and Nicole really got to know me, my fiancé, our wedding, etc. I'm definitely the type of person who doesn't wear much makeup, but Nicole took the time to explain everything and made me feel comfortable to try looks that were outside of my day-to-day style. I loved that she would say how this is the time to try anything I wanted and for her to get to know what I liked - there was no pressure and I knew I was in good hands. The day of the wedding, Nicole really made the getting ready experience fun - my mother has been asking me if we can find an excuse to hire Nicole again! Not only was everyone's makeup incredible, but Nicole is just the type of person you enjoy being around (my friends who had their makeup done said how much they regretted not having her do makeup for their own weddings). While it may be possible to find other skilled people, Nicole is the whole package, and you don't come across that too often. I cannot recommend Nicole highly enough!

l! With experience as a photographer, she knows exactly how to put together a look that’s beautiful in person and on camera. I had a few experiences with make-up artists where it was one or the other, I felt that my make-up looked good after a professional photographer edited the photos, but in person the make-up was too much. That was NOT the case with Nicole; Nicole made me feel beautiful in pictures and in person! That’s exactly how I wanted to feel as a bride. Nicole took the time to really listen to what I wanted and offered her professional opinion when I wasn’t sure. She really wanted to make sure that she created the look that I wanted. Also, none of the girl’s had to retouch their makeup throughout the entire day. I highly recommend Nicole!! I can't say anything negative about her work or my experience with her.
