I seriously don’t think my wedding would have gone so smoothly if Nicole wasn’t there. Due to COVID, my photographer abruptly canceled on me. Nicole was willing to cancel HER OWN vacation early so that she could be present on my big day! She was able to get all the pictures Grady and I wanted plus more! I highly recommend you hire Nicole as your wedding photographer! She will not disappoint you!

The first thing that drew me to Nicole was her editing style. When looking at other people’s wedding photos I knew I was drawn to a specific style of editing and Nicole fit that bill. The first time we met to discuss quotes I felt like I had known her forever. She is such a sweet soul and is amazing at what she does. Her pricing was lower than most in the area, but her quality surpasses most everyone. So far I have only received my ‘sneak peeks’ back and they are SPECTACULAR!!! I am dying to see the rest. They are light and airy without being overly brightened and they editing is perfect. She was perfect to snap the pictures that mattered most to me as well as ones I would have never thought to ask for. If you need a wedding photographer Nicole Ryan Photography is the way to go!

We were instantly drawn to Nicole’s romantic and natural photography style. And when we met her in person, we both felt super comfortable working with her. She wonderfully captures the life and vibe of her clients through her camera lens and we love the rich color in her photos. In addition to wedding day photos, we booked Nicole for an engagement session and her photo booth service (Think Outside the Booth), which was an awesome addition and such a great value! She offered a comprehensive package, but we didn’t feel like she nickel-and-dimed us for every little thing. She was flexible with photo shoot locations and we trusted her creative eye when she wanted to try a unique pose or angle. Nicole is sweet, friendly, fun, knowledgeable, responsive, and super easy to work with! We look forward to working with her again for our next life event.

Nicole did an amazing job. From the moment we sat down and talked about our vision for the wedding, she knew exactly what I was looking for. From the consultation to the delivery of photos, Nicole is there to answer any questions and make any adjustments to the plan. Nicole and her team were amazing to work with! We had a Persian wedding and they were able to capture it beautifully. Prior to the wedding, Nicole made a point to find out what was most important to us and must-have photos. She has an eye and point of view that makes her photography impeccable and let us see different views of our wedding that we wouldn't have seen ourselves. Their team was prompt, responsive, personable, and professional. Words cannot describe how beautiful her photos are!

Take a look at that first cover photo on this page and you will see why I cannot recommend Nicole enough! I HATE getting my picture taken so I was apprehensive to have a session even before my wedding day but was talked into it by some family. I am so happy that I did a bridal session and that Nicole was the one taking my picture. Nicole made me feel so comfortable, beautiful and confident and was able to capture those feelings in all my pictures. Do yourself a favor, book her now. You will not regret it.

My husband and I are so thankful that we found Nicole when looking for a wedding photographer. I'm not the most comfortable in front of a camera, but Nicole provided great direction and made me feel at ease. She was very accommodating with us, and took our engagement pictures in Austin, then traveled to Houston to walk through our venue weeks before our wedding, and again for our wedding. Nicole was attentive to our vision of how we hoped our pictures turned out, but also creative in finding the perfect backdrop at our venue. A major reason we wanted Nicole to photograph our wedding is because, looking at her other wedding collections, she does such a fantastic job of capturing the whole day. From the sneak peek of our wedding pictures, she has done just that, and we can't wait to see the rest! Nicole is a great photographer and we are so glad we found her for our wedding! She was super easy to work with - we met once for coffee and went over her process and what to expect. She has a lot of experience, and since we didn't really know what to ask - she let us know what people normally ask and what to think about. This was very helpful! Before the wedding, she had us fill out a one page questionnaire that asked us questions like, what's the most important thing to us for wedding photography, any family issues she should know about, etc. It gives you the opportunity to be very specific about what you care about and what you want from your wedding photos. And of course, she did such a great job at the wedding! I don't know if she memorized the questionnaire or what, but she hit everything we wanted for our photos. She was also really good at giving direction, and was never obtrusive. We got a lot of compliments from our guests about her approach as well. The photos are also exactly what we wanted. We couldn't be happier and would recommend Nicole 100%!

Nicole was a dream!!! She honestly was one of the best decisions we made during the planning process. She is extremely professional, punctual, and my entire family said she was always on the job and busy during the wedding. Coming from someone who didn't want to stress a ton about getting pictures, she REALLY captured a lot of quality shots and QUICKLY. She is very good at staying out of the way but making it look like she had spent hours on shots. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Great style and artistic eye.

Nicole is amazing! She did a great job taking candid shots and helping us feel comfortable so we looked natural, which is what I really wanted. The lighting was perfect, she timed it right at sunset and with her editing skills, the pics were really beautiful. She also was very patient with our dogs and had creative ways to incorporate the dogs into our 'family' photos. She is such a gem!

Nicole Ryan is the MOST amazing wedding photographer! Our ceremony was at the courthouse which isn't the most beautiful backdrop but Nicole made it look magical. Nicole also suggested a second location after the ceremony at an outdoor art installation which perfectly reflected our vibe as a couple. She captured those first glowing moments of love and happiness as husband and wife. When I look at the photos Nicole captured from our day I am transported back and I can't stop smiling. Nicole is creative, warm, reliable and really just the best ever!

Nicole was wonderful! We loved working with her throughout the process, from our initial meeting, to our engagement photos, to the wedding, through to our finished photo book. She was kind, professional, and accommodating, and we *love* our photos! Nicole did a great job of capturing who we are and even included our not always cooperative dog in many of our shots. We had a very small wedding and Nicole did a great job of capturing many angles and making our entire wedding party feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was prepared, organized, and positive on the wedding day and went above and beyond to make the day easier for my husband and I.

We were scheduled to take our engagement photos on Thursday with Nicole. She emailed me Tuesday afternoon saying that she mixed up her calendar and had double booked us with another event and that she could no longer take our photos as scheduled. I found this very unprofessional and moved forward with another more reliable photographer.

I cannot say enough good things about Nicole! It was important to me to have a photographer I felt comfortable with because I am not a natural in front of the camera. From our first meeting I felt like we had been friends for a long time already. She did our engagements in the Spring and our wedding this past weekend. We also used her for the photo booth which was a huge hit! She made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera and gave direction when I needed it. She did an amazing job of just being everywhere the whole night capturing moments. She already has given us a "sneak peek" and they are SO GOOD! I cannot wait to see the rest. My husband and I are so grateful for Nicole and the amazing photos she captured for us. She is truly so talented at what she does and our photos came out better than we could have ever imagined. Nicole is amazing. She worked with me from the very beginning to get the coverage I needed for my wedding at the best rate. She came to my venue day of and she made everything happen with grace despite how crazy the whole day felt. We got our photos about a month later while we were on our honeymoon and the were absolutely stunning! She captured everything I asked for and a ton of shots I didn’t even know I needed. Nicole was an absolute dream to work with! My fiance and I felt so awkward taking photos but she somehow managed to capture the best moments! We also hired her for our photo booth and it was a hit! We LOVE Nicole! I have known Nicole for some time now as we had worked together previously on a couple dance projects (photos & video) before all this wedding business came about. One of the (many) things I love about Nicole is her ability to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and give as much (or as little) direction needed. Naturally, I reached out to Nicole to shoot our engagement photos and book her for our wedding day (this included photobooth)! While there are many great photographers out there, nothing beats having a sweet and talented artist (who is reasonably priced) on your team! It was so nice to work with her for both engagement and wedding photos because it gave both parties the opportunity to get to know each other a little better before the big day. My (now) husband particularly valued this as he is NOT a natural in front of the camera and isn’t a huge fan of taking photos. The fact that Nicole made him feel comfortable is A BIG DEAL! Her energy is calm, lighthearted, and fun - always professional and organized. You can tell she has a good eye and lot of experience in the way that she builds her shots and is quick to come up with new ideas. Her photobooth was also super fun and user friendly. We had zero issues with it all night! So far, we have received only a “preview” of our wedding day photos, and OMG ...we cannot wait to see the rest of them because they are SO GOOD! She does such a great job in fact, that my husband said, “Whenever we need to take more family photos or whenever we have kids, I would fly back to Austin so we could work with Nicole.” Adorbs! <3 #FigsInABlanket

Let's just come out and say it, wedding planning is hard, it's overwhelming, so when you come across a vendor like Nicole, it's refreshing! I saw her website, and immediately knew I wanted her to be our wedding photographer, she captured the most beautiful moments, the raw emotional moments, and made the staged pictures still look natural. For our engagement pictures we went to a park on one of the hottest days in Texas, we sat on the grass and followed Nicole's instructions. When we got our pictures back, we were amazed. They looked incredible! She knows what's she's doing, so trust her. Our wedding pictures were also perfect. She captured the most beautiful moments between the entire wedding and I'm so glad I went with her.

We hired Nicole to photograph our wedding ceremony and reception last November and could not be happier with the result. After our initial inquiry she responded right away and set up a time to meet. She was communicative throughout the entire process and upfront about what to expect. On my wedding day our party was running about half an hour late (we were planning to take photos before the ceremony) but since we weren’t there Nicole made the most of her time by capturing photos of the venue and gathering detail shots. She was professional and did a great job communicating with our family members, directing them where and how to stand, if needed. The resulting photos are high quality and captured the big moments as well as many small moments. Our budget was relatively small (under 10k) but we prioritized photography and Nicole was definitely worth it. We are extremely happy with the photos. Also the way the final photos are delivered makes it incredibly easy to share online and download. If you hire Nicole you’ll be in great hands. Highly recommend!

I was mother of the bride, and we are so thankful for Nicole. She was flexible, creative and communication was always prompt. Nicole always goes above and beyond. I know in my daughter's review, she forgot to mention a few things. I will pick up the ball. First, the photo station! So much fun. It wasn't a cumbersome booth, but a sleek monitor that allowed you to email, share on Facebook or even print your silly photos. There were also a great variety of props to accessorize with and use. All of these photos were shared with us so that we had insight into the fun of the evening. Also, the photo gallery is easy to navigate with ability to easily share on social media as well as with friends and family... and it is live for 10 years! AMAZING experience. Thank you for capturing my daughter's big day.

Nicole has a unique talent that allows her to understand the true heart of her clients, and she captures more than just a photograph. Nicole is such a fantastic photographer, she's so talented, and really just an amazing person all around! We had a private ceremony for our wedding at Chapel Dulcinea and then celebrated with parties and a reception with our friends and family at Parkside and Palazzo Lavaca - Nicole captured every moment beautifully. She's incredibly professional but so easy to be around. This is not just from the bride and groom, our guests were equally complimentary of how great she was and knew she was capturing some really great shots without being intrusive. The wedding gallery just tops everything off - its easy to use and share photos. I really can't recommend Nicole enough!

Nicole is the best! We hired her for both our engagement photos and for our wedding on August 29th, 2015 at Barr Mansion. She is so easy to work with and the photos turned out beautifully. I am 100% pleased and satisfied with the job Nicole did at my wedding this June. She is great! When I first met with Nicole before booking her, she asked me all kinds of questions about what I wanted from her so that she would know what was important to me. We also just chatted and got to know each other some, which made me feel more comfortable when we actually took pictures. She did my engagement, bridal, and wedding photos and they were all absolutely beautiful, stunning, and amazing. Nicole has a great eye and is so creative. She does so well with capturing all the little details as well as the big pictures. I could not be more pleased. I have no "cons" or "negatives" about my experience with her at all. Nicole is such a talented and amazing photographer! She was always responsive to emails, easy to communicate with, and very personable. We had decided against engagement and bridal photos, but that made the wedding photos that much more important. I only met her at the wedding, and she was just as friendly in person. When I got the photos, they were so beautiful! I am pretty awkward and don't have a great smile for photos, but the photos turned out wonderful. I was even pleasantly surprised by all of the fun the reception photos captured. Everyone commented on how sweet and professional she was all night. Nicole is fantastic, and I would not hesitate to work with her again or to recommend her to others.

I recently got married in May and Nicole was the photographer for the engagement, bridal, and wedding photography. Every time we were together either meeting about the wedding or at a shoot, she was very professional and personal. She made sure to ask for our input on photo opportunities and our style as a couple to make our pictures represent us. I am very impressed with the quality of the photography and the timeliness of the return time after we had the shoot. Even after the wedding we had many guests, other vendors, and our bridal party say that she was so nice and professional while trying to get as many pictures as she could around the ceremony and reception venues. I would recommend her to anyone looking for wonderful and personalized wedding photography while offering it all at a very reasonable price, especially in the Austin area.

I give Nicole and her photography 10 stars! Honestly, working with her for our engagement photos and on our wedding day was so much fun. We took our engagement photos in the summer on a hot humid morning (after getting rained out the night before). She was so fun to work with and our photos turned out amazing despite the heat, humidity, sun, and sweat! When our wedding got closer, Nicole was great and was willing to meet me for coffee to chat about what I wanted for wedding day photos. My fiancé and I did not want to do a first look and she was very flexible and willing to make that a reality for us without compromising what photos we'd be able to take. Her photos are gorgeous and she is extremely enjoyable to work with.

Nicole was so easy to work with. She's extremely nice, and flexible with everything that I asked for, she was willing to do anything to make everything perfect! Nicole shot my bridal portraits AND my the photos for my wedding and I couldn't be happier with the results of both. She is extremely talented and creative and really has an eye for small details. I love all of the photos that she took for me but some of my unexpected favorites were the still shots that she took with some of my wedding attire items (rings, dress, shoes, flowers, etc.) and some of the photos that she took of me getting ready with my bridesmaids. During my bridal portrait session, she really made me feel beautiful by encouraging me and helping me pose. Nicole is so open-minded and comfortable to work with. She doesn't come into a shoot already having an idea of how she wants to do it...she is a good listener and will cater her talents to fit whatever it is that you are needing with the best results possible. She has tons of amazing ideas herself but she is also down for trying any idea that you may have for a photo. More than just being comfortable to work with, she is just plain FUN to work with! She will also definitely make the best of any complicated or challenging photo situation. I was married in a Catholic church and even though there are so many crazy rules about where photographers can't be or stand or walk around (including no flash), Nicole didn't let any of this discourage her and captured every important moment and way more!

Nicole is awesome! I had very little time to plan our wedding, and did everything long-distance since I was traveling for work. Nicole was super accommodating and professional, so easy to communicate with, always responded promptly to any questions I had, was willing to travel to Katy, Tx for the event... AND she took wonderful shots! She is so talented, has a great eye for beauty, and I get compliments on her photos all the time! She didn't miss a single detail, and captured every moment in such a natural and artistic way, that I wouldn't hesitate to contact her again in a heartbeat to preserve more life-memories!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Nicole's work. We used her for our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, and for our wedding. She was great to work with in so many ways - flexible in scheduling, open to our location ideas, straightforward about her pricing and what her packages included, always punctual - but best of all was how comfortable she made me and my husband feel in front of the camera. My husband is a very, very handsome man (I swear I'm only a little bit biased), but he did not know how to take a good photograph. Until Nicole came along, every photo I had of him his eyes were closed, or crossed, or his mouth was hanging open; he was just generally awkward in front of the camera. Nicole immediately put him at ease. Right from the start she had him cracking up laughing, relaxed and happy, and that definitely shows in our photos. That shoot was when we knew we had found the perfect person to work with. Most other vendors had a list of locations they shot at, and we wanted to do ours at the "til death do us part" mural downtown, and then at a carnival. Other photographers were incredibly hesitant - especially about shooting at night, at a carnival - but Nicole was game right away. She did an amazing job shooting us in a difficult situation, and her photos look great: beautiful, colorful, glowy carnival lights; romantic shots on the carousel and ferris wheel; even some really tough shots of us in the hall of mirrors! When it came time for my bridal portraits I was totally comfortable shooting with Nicole, but not quite comfortable with myself. Like 99% of brides, I was losing weight for the wedding, and wasn't where I wanted to be. I was so nervous that the photos would turn out terribly, that I would hate the way I looked and then start hating my dress and dreading the big day, but I shouldn't have been. Nicole was a great coach, talking me through poses, telling me to tilt my head this way, turn to the light that way, complimenting me, and just making me feel really confident. My bridal portraits turned out absolutely gorgeous. The day of our wedding, Nicole was a joy to have her around. Her enthusiasm was culpable, and she was friendly, upbeat, and sweet. Her photos of me getting ready are amazing - these were not shots that were important to me, but are now some of my favorites. She got great photos of my guests milling around before the ceremony, including some real stunners of my young nephews (the ring bearers). During the ceremony she somehow faded into the background while still getting great angles of me and my husband holding hands, exchanging rings and vows, laughing with each other and our wedding parties, and our friends and family surrounding us with love and warmth. After the ceremony she was a great marshall, getting those who needed to be in photos in and those who needed to get out of photos out - just one more thing that requires a huge amount of tact and delicacy that Nicole handled beautifully! She never misses a detail, down to our menus and guestbook at the reception, beautiful shots of my husband and I cutting the cake together, our guests laughing and talking, and makes everyone looks gorgeous. Her editing is superb, and her prices for prints, books, and DVDs are better than I've found by far. I really just can't say enough great things about Nicole. We can't wait for our next shoot with her - Christmas photos with our doggies. We've found a photographer for life!

I had used Nicole for our engagement photos per suggestion of a mutual friend. Our engagement session was so much fun yet still very professional. The pictures turned out amazing. We of course asked Nicole to do our wedding as well. And again we couldn't have been happeir with the whole package. She managed to get every shot I could think of. It was like she had 4 people there taking pictures. The pictures Nicole got from our wedding day perfectly capture the best memories for my husband and I.

Nicole did my wedding and bridal portrait photography (separate sessions) in Tomball, TX near Houston. I could not be happier with her work! Truly a professional and very creative, she got awesome shots I was not expecting at all, in addition to all those obvious ones you want! It's like she read my mind in capturing moments I was hoping to get in the photos but did not explicitly request. She is skilled in giving artsy, romantic elements to your photos, and also in taking the candid "real" moments. If you prefer to maximize the number of prints you have access to in the end, for flexibility to print yourself, Nicole is perfect--she offers those options at great prices! Nicole captured my wedding in ways that I didn't even know were possible. She was the consummate professional and was never in anyone's way. The photos she took of me getting ready with my sister and my mom are my favorites! She captured the exact tone of my wedding and I could not be happier with the combination of sweet and special moments with the funny and silly ones. Nicole captured so many amazing moments of my wedding in a way that was so natural and unique.
