About this vendor
Hi! I’m Nieka, the owner of Nieka Richard Events and the lead event designer & coordinator. I’m a Texas native, coffee and sushi enthusiast, and I’m in love with rose gold everything!
You can say that my passion for planning events began at the age of 12 when I would plan my imaginary birthday parties. In my mind they were lavish, and they were real! The first actual event that I planned was in 2006; I was 16 years old. I planned my sister’s surprise baby shower. It was a success to say the very least. She was very surprised, we had lots of fun, and plenty of guests who were entertained. She felt loved, supported, and deeply cared for. Since then, I’ve been making any and every excuse to plan a party!
It has been a dream of mine to plan events professionally, and sometimes I have to pinc

things great and small with a responsiveness and ease like I’d never experienced. Telling her thank you was no we’re near enough for the assistance and relief they helped bring to our wedding day. Juggling vendors, guests and keeping stranglers and strangers away from me and the bride as we prepared and went through the events of our day she handled in a way that made us more comfortable than we’d been in the months and weeks leading up to it. Amazing isn’t a strong enough expression for her and her team. I truly recommend.

ds to my wedding. With Nieka's help, I was able to truly relax and enjoy my special day. She was not only wonderful to me, but to my family as well. She always wore a smile, assured me that everything would work out, and she stayed on top of the busy timeline, making sure that I made it to where I needed to go on time.
My day could not have been more perfect, and don't think I could have enjoyed it as much, had I not had her to execute my vision. If I had to do it all over again, I would; and it would be through Nieka Richard Events every time.
