Night Music DJ Professionals

and beyond to make it happen. She deep dived into our music preferences and curated three separate playlists - for pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. It all felt completely "us". Not only did Jodi keep the energy flowing perfectly throughout our event, but she also brought a calm and steady presence during the planning and on the day itself. She helped our team stay on schedule, was incredibly easy and a joy to work with, and coordinated seamlessly with our first-time officiant. We had complete trust in her from start to finish. Jodi was also willing to think outside the box to make our day feel unique and personal, and she genuinely shared in the joy of our special moments and songs. We can't recommend her enough as she was an essential part of what made our wedding so memorable!

d played the exact music that people enjoyed. We were impressed when she took a personable interest in us as clients: after getting to know us and realizing my wife enjoyed Taylor Swift she went as far as making her a custom wedding friendship bracelet before the evening.

s... he is so professional, knowledgeable, and fun! He took the time to understand us (we’re weird) and our unique vision... collaborating with us to turn our wedding day dreams into a reality. We mapped out an “arch of emotion & vibes” through the whole day... and Steve delivered! From setting a welcoming tone as guests arrived, prelude music, cocktail hour, speeches, an inclusive first dance to open the dance floor, Greek dancing, the hora, partying all night, to bringing out the LED foam sticks, Steve not only brought the jams but he also managed the energy so well. It was magical. He made sure things went smoothly on the day of our wedding and was able to stick to the timeline while also being flexible to our needs. He helped create such a memorable day for my wife, myself, and all our guests. The dance floor was alive and well the whole night (even people who “don’t dance” got involved)! The quality of the sound equipment and lighting is top-notch (highly recommend the up-lighting... sets the mood really well). If you are looking for a DJ, we highly recommend DJ Steve! He is the best.

hio. We learned about Night Music, and DJ Jodi from a close friend, who is a professional event planner and initially we were only seeking a DJ for our wedding dance party, but after meeting Jodi who explained her services, we quickly realized we wanted her to facilitate our ENTIRE event - ceremony, reception and after party!!! From our first phone conversation with Jodi, we were so impressed! Jodi’s calm and patient demeanor, immediately set us at ease (a welcome relief in contrast to all the angst that goes alongside planning a wedding!). She quickly established her intent to make our event as easy and stress-free as possible, and she delivered (A++). Jodi is a highly experienced professional, she was extremely accommodating with her schedule and spent quality time getting to know us as a couple and to really understand what we were looking for. Her questions to us indicated a genuine interest in her desire to understand what would make our day the most special, her attention to detail was so refreshing and so welcomed! Jodi took the time to help us identify music for every aspect of our event, we had most of our dance party playlist figured out, but she really helped guide us on what we were missing and provided some great recommendations where we lacked inspiration. She helped us create a detailed timeline for the day of our event, establishing realistic expectations, and identifying where we may need to be flexible. Her experience and insights from prior events were invaluable. Night Music, and DJ Jodi, were a wonderful addition to our team of wedding vendors, she did a fabulous job to keep the day on track and collaborated seamlessly with our wedding party coordinator and other vendors (venue, caterers, etc.). Jodi’s contribution to our special day went above and beyond, by the day of our wedding, she really felt like part of the family. Thank you so much DJ Jodi; for truly making our most special day, so unbelievably perfect!

ic preferences. The dance floor was full the whole night!! So many complimented how great the DJ was. Book Them

tion, not to mention the most important part, the music was fantastic! Not your typical wedding music playlist. When it was finally time to book our DJ Night Music was the only option in my opinion. We experienced the same professionalism throughout the planning process! Jodi was so open to our opinions, was extremely thorough while asking questions and understanding our vibe through each part of the wedding. We received SO many compliments through the evening and even after that it was the best wedding DJ they had ever seen and we feel the same way! A wedding DJ can make or break the reception and we are so glad we invested in Night Music DJ!

I always felt like he understood what we were aiming to do and he was very flexible with our schedules. I also knew we were in good hands when he was excited about the extensive list of songs we sent over as he was thrilled we had so much input and always encouraged us to make it our own. He read the room well and had an incredible expertise of balancing when to speak up.

p you plan your music and they were able to get all of the obscure songs my heart desired! I met with Steve to talk through details prior to our wedding and he made sure everything ran smoothly that day. He spoke just enough and was never overbearing. Everything sounded great from the ceremony to the dance floor. Steve can read the room and play songs that resonated with the generations out there dancing. I am very happy with our experience and would highly recommend Night Music (and especially Steve) to anyone needing a professional DJ. Thank you so much for giving us and our guests a fabulous time!!

and don’t plays. He did a great job shepherding us throughout the reception in a way that never felt hurried or stressful. And most importantly, the party never even got close to dying down and the bride never left the dance floor! The whole relationship was defined by trust and he played no small part in giving us our perfect day. We can’t recommend them enough.

process and system in place to make sure you get all the music played at your ceremony/wedding exactly when you want it! And Steve is also great at matching the energy in the room and playing songs he can tell that people on the dance floor will enjoy. I have zero regrets going with them for my wedding - so many guests were complimenting me after the wedding about how great the music was and the energy that came along with it.

told me that just about every aspect of the wedding should be booked out as far in advance as possible, including DJs. The search was rough and I was getting pretty desperate, but luckily, I mentioned this to a friend who was also getting married only a month or two before ours. I am still so grateful for that conversation, because they recommended Night Music DJ and I ended up with the best experience I could have asked for. Jodi was a gem, from the planning to the night itself. She talked us through it and offered helpful solutions when it came to a few dilemmas with the parent dances. She completely rolled with it when I came to her with a halfhearted idea to play the jeopardy theme for our “one minute to snap a shot” timeframe during our unplugged ceremony. She also helped us talk through logistics of including an anniversary shout out/first couples dance to my husband’s grandparents as their 65th anniversary was only a few days short of our wedding. And then the night of, she shone the brightest. Nothing felt awkward. She helped us corral the crowds when it came to seating, food, cake. Everything. She kept the energy of the night flowing perfectly and politely shooed everyone out when it came time for our private last dance. When I say that there isn’t a single person who I could be more thankful to on our day than her, I mean it. Steve was just as amazing. He ended up being our photobooth attendant and was so incredibly great with the guests. We had a guest photo book for our guests to paste their pictures into with a short message and he took it upon himself to help that process along all night. All in all, we are so happy that we ended up with Night Music DJ. They’re pleasant, professional, and aren’t afraid to help offer suggestions when you’re fretting about something for the millionth time and just need someone to talk it out with. Jodi and Steve, this review might be INCREDIBLY late, but thank you. From the bottom of our hearts. You were both fabulous.

r vows and readings. She not only set a lovely tone organizing our guests throughout the evening, but then put together an absolutely bangin' playlist that kept our guests on the floor all night long! Do yourself a favor and hire this vendor!

orms and access to tons of song suggestions and playlists. He absolutely understood the vibe we wanted, and made sure to play plenty of ABBA (as requested by me :) ). He kept the entire day on schedule and kept the dance floor full! We would definitely recommend!

the dance floor packed! We received many compliments afterwards about how wonderful of a job he did. The uplighting they provided was perfect to complete the atmosphere. We would definitely recommend Night Music DJ to anyone.

o just "happen." She handled everything in such a professional and respectful manner when speaking on the mic. We have gotten compliments from people of all ages on how great our DJ was and we couldn't agree more. The music selections were great, and kept our guests dancing all night. Highly recommend Night Music DJ and Jodi!

ncing all night. Jodi also helped coordinate the evening of events from speeches to cake cutting and table photos. Thank you, Jodi for the suggestion to run from each table taking photos. Now we have a photo with all of our wedding guests.

made the entire process so enjoyable. His kindness and professionalism were evident every step of the way, putting us at ease and ensuring our wedding day ran smoothly. (And we had so much fun going through his recommended playlists to figure out what our night would sound like!) At brunch the next day we lost count of the number of guests who raved about Steve’s skills as a DJ, and almost 3 months later and our guests continue to talk about how phenomenal he was and how fun he made the night. We continue to hear about how the dance floor seemed packed the whole night – a testament to Steve’s ability to read the crowd and keep the energy high. My (now) mother-in-law was definitely a “DJ skeptic” and really believed wedding bands were the only way to go – she continues to bring up how great Steve was every time we chat! Additionally, Steve offered us one of our absolute favorite memories from that day: after overhearing us talk about being a little nervous, he offered to give us a private moment to practice our first dance alone. That moment of quiet solitude gave us the opportunity to savor the moment and soak in everything happening around us. It was an incredibly thoughtful gift that we'll forever be thankful for. We absolutely recommend Steve and the Night Music team, if you want your guests to dance the night away then there is no party like a Night Music Party!

during the dancing part of the evening, as well as made sure to play the songs we desired most. More than anything, Steve did an amazing job giving direction to our guests to carry the night along a bit smoother. He clearly and effectively communicated to our guests and was such a positive and valuable asset to our day. We enjoyed Steve so much at my sister's wedding last summer, that we chose Night Music for our own wedding this summer. We could not recommend Steve enough to a future Mr. + Mrs.!

nd easy to work with - I knew with our first meeting that his vibe was exactly what we needed. The forms he provided for music planning/reception planning were extremely helpful and he was always available to bounce ideas off of and even give us some ideas where we weren’t sure what to do. We had SO MANY family and friends absolutely raving about how amazing he was. He kept the dance floor full, fun, and was able to read the vibes of the room to play the right song next - the whole evening just ran so smoothly. I am so beyond happy with my decision to use Night Music DJ Professionals as my vendor and could not recommend them highly enough.

't sure what to do! They were more than able to change things around that weren't "traditional" so our DJ experience was perfect for US. Jodi ran the Fizzy Cat photobooth and made sure everyone looked amazing. Couldn't have asked for more!

e way and put together an amazing music set for every part of the evening. I appreciate her so much and can't recommend her enough!

ks to her! We had so many compliments of our music! We definitely recommend her for your wedding!

e and DJ!

ct because of them. They dismissed tables for food and announced everything that was going to be happening. We rented the photo booth as well and it was a great addition to our wedding. Highly recommend Steve and his team!

n for the day. Having the right DJ was important to me, and when I met Jodi, I knew we had a winner. Not only did she embrace us as a couple, but Jodi didn’t miss a beat when I requested a surprise second entrance down the aisle complete with ribbon twirling. The musical transitions between our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing were flawless and the dancefloor stayed crowded all night. Our guests had raving reviews! Some of our friends were surprised when they first saw Jodi- they were even more surprised when she played WAP by Cardi B. She’s a seasoned DJ in a male-dominated industry and she knows her stuff. She prioritizes the couple and when we said no line dances, we got no line dances. If you’re like me then you know music sets the vibe for the whole evening, and I can’t say enough good things about Jodi’s ability to create the ideal wedding environment.

requests and musical tastes, and creating a wonderful event for my husband and I and our guests! The dance floor was full from the time it opened up until the very end of the night. Steve is truly a knowledgeable and skilled wedding professional and we would highly recommend him to anyone!

rs because she was so personable. Our dance floor was packed all night long!!! Jodi made our wedding a success.

o it was a smooth process for us! We had SO many compliments about how fun the wedding was from guests of all ages and I think that speaks volumes of Steve and his talent!!!

yone really enjoyed the pictures to take home or put in our guestbook. Highly recommend Steve & Jodi for your next event!!!

reat set up.

has great taste in music. I lost count of how many compliments we received all night. He got the crowd engaged in wedding activities and guests danced all night long! He and his wife even scoped out the venue ahead of time, worked very well with the wedding planners and guest speakers. He truly made our wedding perfect and I can’t recommend his services enough. Worth every penny!

ime and the dance floor was alive. The reception events were perfectly timed. I highly recommend using they for your wedding!

aring, but Jodi understood our vibe and what we were looking for. She’s professional, relaxed, and made the reception flow seamlessly. A month before the wedding, we filled out music and reception activity forms. We then had a follow up conversation where Jodi was super helpful with suggestions and developing an itinerary for the night. We had very specific music we wanted so we submitted a playlist that she mixed seamlessly from cocktail hour to dinner and dancing. She respects music choices and overall has a chill relaxed vibe (and an excellent voice!) We had our reception at a restaurant and she worked with the manager as well as our photographer to make sure the night ran smoothly. She also checked in with us throughout the night and let guests know what to expect next. Everything was amazing! I highly recommend Jodi and Night Music!

lped us to give Steve a better understanding of what songs we love and what songs we don’t want played. Truly a wonderful DJ and they had our guests dancing till midnight! Do yourself a favor and book Steve for your wedding day!!

f music you want and then follows up with a phone call to make sure that everyone is on the same page. Your wedding is in excellent hands if you choose to go with him.

y - our dance party could have gone all night! Everything happened according to plan and I never had to worry about a thing. We have nothing but great things to say about Steve & Jodi and would recommend them to anyone!

guests and venue. Night Music was very flexible and monitored the timing of the event and kept it on schedule. Very professional and personable, We will have them back for our Anniversary party!

personable and well liked he is. If you want someone professional for low cost, DJ Steve is your guy!

so comfortable and had the best suggestions for a perfect, seamless day! His music guide was super helpful. His years of experience really showed through with every aspect of the day- from the prelude, to grand entrances, to communicating with our guests on what to expect next. We received compliments all night long with how great of a DJ he is and still do now months later. We highly recommend hiring Steve as your DJ!

d beyond to make sure the night was perfect. We couldn’t recommend this company more!

l!! He was so personable and really got to know us throughout the wedding planning process. He was great with communication and really listened to our vision for our wedding. He went above and beyond, hit all the cues, and did not miss one beat throughout the night. I cannot speak highly enough about Steve and look forward to hopefully working with him again in the future.
