Night To Remember

Night to Remember was very professional, organized, and responsive from day one. Jon has a great feel for his band's sound and how it aligns with what the client wants. On the day of the event, they took the time to flawlessly execute our group's introductions and special moments. We have received countless compliments from wedding guests regarding the band and how they absolutely crushed the entire evening. It was truly a night to remember because the band exceeded our wildest expectations. We highly recommend trusting them with your special day.

I would highly recommend Night to Remember band for your wedding/event. We had our wedding May 4th at Palais Royale in South Bend, Indiana. They provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music as well as MC services. In the days following our event, guests continue to comment on the sheer talent and entertainment value of having them there. Besides having an amazing repertoire of songs that our guests had a blast dancing to, Jon was so professional in helping organize the flow of the night. He answered any and all questions we had and really used past experience to help us make decisions to improve the experience of ourselves and our guests. Jon’s team went above and beyond to be flexible in considering guests requests prior to the wedding and reading the room to know how to best engage our guests. Overall, they elevated our experience and my husband and I would LOVE working with them again.

WOW...I cannot say enough great things about Night to Remember. They truly made our night so memorable and special. Working with Jon and NTR felt like I was "shopping local." Usually, local businesses have great customer service, they care about their clients/patrons, and want to go above and beyond to create a memorable experience. Jon is no exception. He is a kind, organized, intentional business owner. We did not feel like "just another" couple getting married. It was important to us to avoid a band pulling musicians from a pool of available talent. The NTR band members are actual members of the band and not pulled talent from an agency. This made a huge difference as we could tell they rehearsed together and had great chemistry with one another. We were able to choose "must play" songs and "do not play" songs and they filled in the rest. We requested, on the wedding night, to end with Mr. Brightside. My husband and I got on the stage and lived our best lives belting out the music while watching our guests on the dance floor. I won't forget that feeling of experience. If you're considering a horns section or if you aren't but it's in your budget....DO IT!!! We'd recommend NTR over and over to anyone looking for a wedding band.

We are so thankful for Jon and NTR for traveling to Bloomington, IN for our June 2022 wedding. NTR went above and beyond our expectations, and their performance became an unforgettable highlight of our special day. Our venue had a huge stage and we knew we wanted a live band for our reception. Jon was amazing to work with and made booking and the entire experience so easy. Our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without NTR and they created such a fun and welcoming atmosphere that had everyone on the dance floor all night. Jon was great the months leading up to our wedding to ensure everything went smoothly. The 6 piece band we had was terrific. NTR was absolutely incredible and made our wedding day so much fun! Not only did they keep our wedding running smoothly throughout the night but their energy brought our guests to the dance floor, we danced until the very end! We had so many people come up to us throughout the night and into the next day commenting on how wonderful the band was! Communication leading up to our big day was great and they made the tricky acoustics in our space were no problem for the group. Can not recommend NTR enough!

NTR is the perfect band for your reception! Everyone is so talented and you can tell that they play together all the time. They were so accommodating... from learning a new song that was special to us (they knocked it out of the park!!), to working/planning a schedule that works for everyone involved... we cannot recommend Night To Remember enough!!

Jon and the NTR crew were absolutely fabulous for our wedding! Everyone was raving about how great they were and kept asking for their name and info for future events. Leading up to the event Jon was organized and helpful. He sent us an awesome and extensive song list and we curated the perfect playlist! The night of they were all nothing short of professional. I highly recommend booking them for ceremony music as well. Our guests (and us) LOVED the piano and saxophone combo for our ceremony entrances. You definitely will not regret booking them for your big day!

We HIGHLY recommend Night To Remember! They were the best best band we could have ever asked for at our wedding. We chose the 9-piece band for our tented style reception for 250 guests and it was absolutely perfect. They provided amazing lighting for the stage, microphones for us to sing along, and speakers that filled the space for everyone to hear. Jon Durnell was great to work with and always quick to respond via email/phone call and made time to visit our venue ahead of time to walk through the layout/plan. They made all announcements on time, perfect wedding party entrances, and played two additional songs over their time limit when the crowd yelled "on chore" - safe to say nobody wanted them to leave. My favorite... they let my fiancé and I, along with many wedding party members join on stage, which is now a core memory singing/dancing with all of our family facing us! It truly was spectacular in every way!

WOW! Book this band now, you won’t regret it. We found Night to Remember in Fort Wayne and knew they’d make our wedding (pardon the joke) a real night to remember for everyone present. The band members are so talented, fun, personable, and work as a team to make each song special and fun. We spoke with Jon before the big day as often as we felt necessary and he was there for us at every point. Everyone was so great and they are worth every penny. Book them! We had so many “non-dancing” family members out on the dance floor living it up with the people dancing their hearts out. We even had a couple of servers dancing with us by the end of the night! Could not recommend more.

A Night To Remember played our wedding in South Bend and they killed it! They were very easy to work with and play a range of songs that keep everyone on the dance floor, from kids to aunts and uncles.

Absolutely amazing!! I would recommend Night to Remember over and over again! I found them online, and we went and watched a show at the Clyde. We instantly knew this was the perfect band for our wedding! They are so accommodating and super responsive to messages. They were able to personalize to what we wanted. I thought it was awesome that Jon came out to our venue before the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page and that everything would go as planned. They were absolutely amazing!! Everyone loved the band. I am so glad we chose them. We plan to go watch them when they play public shows again. I highly recommend for any wedding!

My wife and I hired Night to Remember for our wedding; having them provide music for our reception was one of the highlights of our wedding day! Jon and the rest of the extremely talented band were an absolute pleasure to work with. For our wedding we wanted a band that would keep the dance floor full all night and would make preparing for the wedding day easy—Night to Remember delivered perfectly on both! We booked the six-piece option of the band and couldn't be happier with their performance and the energy they brought. They played exactly the type of music we wanted (based on us giving a short list of our likes/dislikes) and had our entire group on the dance floor pretty much the whole night! We received many compliments on the vocals, the saxophone and keyboardist were delivering on the many calls for super solos, and the drums, bass, and guitar rocked. So many of our guests let us know it was one of the most fun wedding dance floors they've experienced—Night to Remember surely lived up to their name! In addition to their awesome performance, the band—and specifically Jon, the group's owner—were so easy to work with in the lead up to the wedding day. Jon was very responsive and clear in communication, and he would quickly answer any of our questions. Jon met with us at the venue so we'd both be on the same page regarding timeline, and they did a fantastic job keeping us on schedule with their MC services. It made it especially easy that Jon is in the band himself (killer guitarist!) so nothing was lost in translation between prep and performance. The person I worked through the planning process was very helpful and quick to reply to any email, which is amazing as any who has planned a wedding knows. The day of the wedding, the band was super friendly. The gave my husband and I our dream wedding by getting everyone on the dance floor from the beginning and keeping them there!!!

Night to remember made our wedding! We knew that we wanted a live band, and we were thrilled to find night to remember! Our guests were so impressed by the talent of all members of the band. At the end of the night they even checked in with the venue and we’re allowed to do another song! We can’t wait to get our video back from our videographer so we can relive the night and hear all the songs over and over!

What a night! Night to Remember was absolutely fantastic. 10/10 – you will not be disappointed. Our dance floor was busy all night long and our friends and family are still raving about how much fun they had. They played a great mix of crowd favorites, funky dance tunes, and sing-alongs that kept the music fresh and the party going! Jon was incredibly helpful and responsive through email and even met for coffee in advance to talk through how we pictured their set. We provided a couple of our favorite tunes and they did the rest. They made the booking and planning process simple and straight-forward. Jon was also an excellent MC and kept our reception moving along smoothly – which was very appreciated because we did not have a day-of coordinator. We cannot say enough good things about Night to Remember! Our reception venue had a big stage so we immediately knew we wanted a live band but I was worried it would be tough to find a high quality band at a reasonable price point. We found NTR via The Knot, and after checking out some of their promo videos via their website, I reached out to Jon and he was very responsive. My now husband really wanted a saxophone and my dad really wanted a trumpet so we chose the 9 piece band option and added on a Jazz trio for cocktail hour. Jon made the planning process very easy. He drove 2 hours to our venue to meet with us a couple months before the ceremony which we found very helpful, and then we had a final preparation Zoom call with him a couple weeks out. He was a great resource to have when planning the reception timeline and then did an amazing job serving as MC throughout our reception. There were people on the dancefloor throughout the whole 3 hour set and even during the 30 minutes after when the band was packing up and playing recorded music. Our guests enjoyed NTR so much. NTR created such a fun and welcoming environment where it was easy for our guests (even those who usually don't) to cut loose on the dancefloor. Our wedding would not have been the same without you. Night to Remember is the BEST band you could hire for your wedding! They blew us out of the water in every way possible. The overall experience was incredible. Jon's communication with my bride and I throughout the night was wonderful, making sure all of our needs were met. The performance itself was impeccable. Our wedding was two months ago and people are still commenting on how impressed they were with the band. They even dedicated a song to our 5 year-old niece, it made her feel so special. We separated the two events by 4 months given the situation with the pandemic and used "A Night To Remember" for BOTH events! They were truly a dream to work with! Always quick to respond, very flexible and accommodating, and their expertise and experience allowed me to be stress-free which is huge when planning a wedding! Jon took the time to build rapport with me and my now husband and we quickly felt confident in our decision to go with "A Night To Remember". It was refreshing to see how involved Jon was with visiting our venues and looking over everything to make sure the day/night of our events went off without a hitch. Not only did he deliver on a professional level, he and his band more than delivered from a performance standpoint. These are very talented individuals and we had multiple guests make it a point to tell us how awesome our band was! As good as it gets from a wedding band. They hit on all ranges and kept the party going all night long. Jon was easy to work with and kept the planning seamless & enjoyable. Our reception was packed until the very end as nobody wanted to leave the dance floor. They played songs that everybody could enjoy - with incredible vocals! The job they did as the MC of the night was also spectacular. There isn't one part of the night that Jon and crew didn't completely nail. We hired a Night to Remember for our outdoor black tie optional wedding in Indy at the Eiteljorg Museum this summer -they exceeded our expectations. We had some unexpected weather issues and they handled it all so professionally, adjusting to play inside briefly to keep guests entertained during cocktail hour and shifting instantly back outside to keep the party going as the rain showers cleared. They are responsive to emails and were such a delight to work with, especially because we were planning the event long distance. They were able to play our ceremony music, during the cocktail hour and got everyone up and dancing during the reception. Excellent playlist! They really were able to play all of our “must haves” and avoided all songs on our do not play list. Our guests definitely loved them as much as we did as the set list was perfect. They really are worth every penny as they made our celebration so memorable. Without hesitation we Highly recommend!

SO MUCH FUN! We hired Night to Remember for my mom's surprise 60th birthday celebration and they exceeded all expectations! From the beginning, Jon was super responsive and easy to work with. The band was incredibly friendly, FUN and so talented! They arrived with plenty of time to set up and did everything they could to make the event special. Fantastic! Jon and the rest of Night to Remember were amazing from day one. We had a lengthy engagement and hired Night to Remember pretty early in the process. Jon was very responsive from the get go and that never changed up to wedding. Night to Remember also removed any "day of" anxiety. We hired them to be our reception band as well as play our ceremony music and everything was as smooth as can be. We cannot recommend Night to Remember enough!

We had the pleasure of working with Jon for several months in preparation for our small intimate wedding. We decided on a 3 person band (vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist). We were absolutely blown away by the versatility, flexibility, professionalism, punctuality and energy that they brought! Elaina truly has a beautiful powerhouse of a voice! They kept our crowed lively and they added a vibe that transitioned so smoothly from the start of the ceremony to the night’s end. We were so impressed with this entire company from management to artists, that we’ll be using them again for our large wedding reception in October!

My daughter planned to be married in April 2020. However, due to the CoVid pandemic, she unfortunately had to postpone the event for a whole year. And, although she had booked a DJ for the original wedding date, her father decided we really needed live music. Since we did not personally know any musicians, I turned to the wedding websites hoping to find a local band with availability. Luckily, I found Night To Remember. Their website was loaded with information, videos, and music. They sounded great! And, even though it was late in the planning process and I was skeptical they would have our date available, I sent an inquiry email anyway. Right from the beginning, Jon was quick to reply and within hours we spoke on the phone. Jon was friendly, easy to talk to, professional, and knew all the right questions to ask to understand what we wanted. At first I thought finding NTR was just too good to be true! A great sounding band with our date available and they seemed super easy to work with? I took a leap of faith and decided right away to hire them sight unseen. I received a contract, paid a deposit, and breathed a sigh of relief because honestly I never expected to find a band within months of the wedding date. And, if it weren't for CoVid and all the wedding cancellations, I probably wouldn't have. NTR would have surely been booked already. They are that good! A few weeks prior to the wedding, Jon and Tammy arranged to meet me at the venue. We finalized all the details with the wedding planner and made sure there would be no last minute problems or surprises. Again, I was very impressed with the ease and professionalism of working with Jon. Well, the wedding couldn't have been more perfect! NTR provided all the music for the ceremony and reception. Jon emceed the entire evening, provided all equipment needed, and followed our timeline to the letter. And the music was fantastic! We hired the seven piece band and they were full of energy and positive vibes! I believe the dance floor was full most of the night. Everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves and many guests commented on the great music. NTR even surprised the bride and groom by playing a song from their favorite band! They were thrilled. Thank you to NTR and Jon for a wonderful evening! We had a blast and are so glad you were part of our celebration.

We needed a band to play at our graduate school celebration and we are so lucky to have found this team. The band made sure that the entire event ran flawless. The music was amazing and got everyone up and dancing. Great quality band and wouldn't have done it any differently. I definitely recommend this band! Our age group was mid to late 20s so they definitely catered to us!

You have to have Night to Remember for your big day! My now husband spent time researching potential options for our wedding day, as a live band was something we’d always desired, and we kept coming back to NTR. They were very responsive with all communication, competitively priced, and so very talented. They brought the party and everyone stayed on the dance floor the moment it opened up. We received compliments all night long and continue to receive compliments 2 weeks post wedding about how great the music and party were with the band! Jon, my main contact, was wonderful to work with and very patient as we navigated through the pandemic. I would highly recommend NTR, you won’t be disappointed!!

Night to Remember was absolutely fabulous! Our wedding ended up being small (~50 guests) due to COVID, so we were worried that nobody would get up to dance at the reception. Night to Remember was so lively and engaging that we had a full dance floor all night long! I kept waiting for a boring song to start so I could take a break to go to the bathroom or sit and drink some water, but Night to Remember made every song so fun and energetic that I felt I couldn't leave the dance floor for fear of missing out! Talking to our guests after the wedding, I've noticed that many of their first comments were about how amazing the band was at the reception. Night to Remember was also very accommodating given the current COVID pandemic - while they could not cancel and refund our money (they offered a date change at no charge), they were up for anything while we were trying to figure out how to manage venue restrictions on musicians and vocalists. They offered to sing with masks on, perform behind plexiglass sneeze guards, downsize to an instrumental-only group, and much more as we were trying to navigate our venue's COVID restrictions. Overall, Night to Remember was fantastic and I would highly recommend them!

During the event they kept on schedule, were always ready for announcements and with the microphones, and kept all our guests dancing all night to hits both old and new. I would especially recognize the female lead singer who was complimented several times for her stellar vocals. I would highly recommend Night to Remember for anyone's wedding!

Night To Remember performed at our Indianapolis wedding in October 2019, and they were absolutely wonderful to work with. Jon was very professional and prompt in all of his communication with my husband and me. The band had never performed at our venue before, but you would never know! They know how to read a crowd, and their volume control made it so that some of our older guests who couldn't dance could still enjoy the night and have conversations without yelling. They were very flexible and accommodating, and they let one of the groomsmen perform a very special song, which meant the world to us. Jon was a wonderful emcee--he helped keep the flow of the reception, leaving us to just enjoy every moment dancing and celebrating with our friends and family instead of worrying about day-of logistics. The music was incredible, the dance floor was full, the set list covered a wide variety of music tastes, and all of our guests commented on what a blast it was to have a live band at our reception. We can't recommend them enough, and if we had the chance to work with them again, we absolutely would. Night To Remember will make your wedding into the best party you've ever thrown!

A Night to Remember was easy to work with from the beginning! From the first time I reached out, they got me all the details I needed quickly. They went above and beyond to make sure they could provide the quality and fun experience we wanted - even learning new songs and visiting the venue with me before the big day. The day of the wedding they set up on time and without any trouble, and made sure everyone had an amazing time dancing til the very end! Great sound, great setlist, full dancefloor from start to end! These guys killed it! We couldn't have asked for a better band for our wedding. They were very professional, accomodating and most importantly sounded great. They played everything from modern hits to the classics that get all ages out on the dancefloor. The band met all of our needs and were very accommodating. The group was organized and communication was great prior to the reception. During the event, they kept things running smoothly. They took care of everything so we could enjoy the night. We wouldn't change a thing from our wedding. They played all of the classics and got the crowd on their feet. We would highly recommend!

If you want the class of a professional 5-piece live band, yet want to have as much fun as you would at a dance club, HIRE NIGHT 2 REMEMBER. They literally made our wedding unforgettable. We had a reception with around 300 guests, with about 40 of them being children, 100 high school-college aged, 60 age 30-50, and 100 aged 50+. In addition to wide range of age, we also had a wide range of nationalities and musical tastes. None of that mattered, N2R kept the dance floor packed literally all night: from 8-11:30 when they physically played, and then from 11:30-1 AM while they DJed during their tear down (people were having such a great time they didn't want to leave!). Everyone raved about the band. In addition to bringing great vibe, energy, and fun to our wedding, N2R was also extremely flexible and professional to work with. Jon was great at giving advice for the flow of events at the reception during our pre-wedding planning, and then flawlessly adjusted day-of when I changed things (which I did a lot). Everyone in N2R was extremely kind and genuinely seemed to enjoy themselves while at the wedding. I seriously cannot recommend these guys enough. Book for an unforgettable night!

We had Night to Remember (NTR) play at our wedding reception in Carmel, IN. My wife and I would highly recommend them as a band. I mainly communicated with Jon, who was very responsive and detail oriented. Since we lived out of town, they also communicated with my wife's parents and met with them at the reception venue in advance to be prepared. They offered a wide variety of songs that my partner and I selected from. Jon also did a great job MCing for the wedding reception. Jon and all of the band members were friendly towards all of our guests and gave a great performance. They know how to entertain the crowd and we could tell that they were very experienced with playing for weddings. We recieved many compliments from guests of all ages about the music!

Jon is wonderful to work with getting details set up prior to the event. Everything went off perfectly and our guests had so much fun dancing the night away to great music. Would definitely hire them again if I ever have another event in need of a live band!

My now husband and I both knew we wanted to have a live band at our wedding reception and did a lot of reseach to find a good band within our price point. I was so happy when we found Night to Remember! Jon was professional, quick to resond to emails, and very accomidating. They sounded amazing, learned our first dance song for us, and kept people dancing all night. Our guests said they couldn't believe there were only 5 people in the band, it sounded more like 6 or 7 with some of them planing more than one instrument. We would highly recommend Night to Remember for any wedding reception or event!
