Jay completely crushed our wedding party in the best way you can imagine. You have to be an idiot not to hire this guy. He goes above and beyond anything I've ever seen on this w...
ebsite. I'm also not referring to the side that anybody can do I'm referring to the actual skill level side of things. He is very professional on top of having plenty talent and street credibility to please any crowd in front of him. We had a fun diverse dance crowd and he got everyone out there on the dance floor having a good time with each other. He probably wants to avoid certain complaining type clientele and only wants to work with the classy clientele that really care. The other person that left the poor review on here probably is trash and has nothing better to do with their life. I can tell by how they credited the same service for 500+ when they have no idea what they're talking about it sounds like to me.
Times are changing and people want and are looking for more out of their wedding entertainment and have been to plenty of weddings where the entertainment is very poor. This guy uses good gear he's very seasoned and very skilled so hire him if you want to do yourself the service otherwise stick with the cheapo's. Most of whom are the competition on this website. Not much competition at all if you ask me.
Was interested in booking for a wedding but during my conversations with him prior to he was very unprofessional in his communication. He also gave me very different quotes for the...
same services that were $500+ different. When I asked to be taken off his email list and that I was no longer interested he sent " Also just wanted to add a little bit of a tidbit. Your loss not mine." Furthermore, when I told him I was not ok with his professionalism and that I would leave a review on The Knot he said "The Knot is a joke anyway. Nothing but people like yourself on here. None of you know how to shop for a solid DJ. I'm sick of this website. Nothing but trash on here." Would highly not recommend working with him.
OMG! Jay was absolutely amazing all throughout the day/evening. When are guest would go up to him and make request he would sometimes download songs on-the-fly and play them almost...
immediately after the request was made. Come dance time he kept Everything fluid and lively as far as the music format and the way it was presented is concerned. He blended the music where it seemed almost seamless. You can tell Jay has tons of experience and new what he was doing as well as taking a fresh approach in order to get everybody out on the dance for having fun with each other. Even though it was a nightclub type of approach he played all genres for all ages and mixed the music very well. Will we be recommending him to our friends and family? I think yes.
