Nightlife Entertainment DJ Service

Pete and everyone at Nightlife has been super responsive and helpful, and helped us make our wedding the day of our dreams. Nightlife did the music at our ceremony and reception. The ceremony music was perfect and EXACTLY what I wanted. The reception music was a great mix throughout the night, and got everyone at our wedding, of all ages, dancing on the dance floor. I would strongly suggest Nightlife to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding!

I can't recommend Nightlife DJs enough! Pete, who is also the owner, DJ'd our wedding and I had so many guests tell me how wonderful and helpful he was. He made sure to get a good idea of what we expected and followed our instructions to a T! He was completely aware of our schedule and would remind us of the timeline whenever needed and also came to find us during pictures to warn us of oncoming rain so we wouldn't get rained on! Their prices are perfect, the service is excellent, and you need to give them a call!

We booked Nightlife Entertainment as our wedding DJ, and could not be more impressed. We met with Pete about a year out from our wedding, and instantly knew we were going to book with him, no question. We met with Pete at a Caribou Coffee, and he bought us coffee and sat down to explain what his company had to offer. It did not seem like a stale, rehearsed sales pitch, but rather a conversation in which he was extremely knowledgable. He answered every single question we had before we could ask it, and my husband and I both agreed after meeting him that we couldn't have been more impressed. We also appreciated that he specifically said that the DJ would would cater to the requests of the bride and groom specifically. Even if parents were paying for the wedding, his goal was to ensure that the bride and groom had the best time and liked the music played. This was much appreciated. He also asked us if there were any songs we specifically did not want played, which was appreciated. Pete was the DJ at our wedding and everything went very well. About a week or two before, we had a phone call with him to go over the songs for our first dance, father-daughter dance, and mother-son dance. We had some unique selections for our first dance and mother-son dances, and all we had to do was send Pete the link to a YouTube video that had our unique songs. He was able to find and purchase the songs for us at no extra cost. He showed up on time and was highly accommodating the day of. Throughout the evening, he would approach me and my husband just to make sure everything was going OK and to see if he could do anything for us. My husband also surprised me with one of my favorite slow songs, and Pete was able to play the song as a surprise just as my husband requested. Our dance floor was indoors, but we did our first dance out own the patio at our venue. Pete was able to easily accommodate this despite the fact that he had not DJ'd at that venue before. At the end of the night, Pete gave us a CD containing our first dance song, our father-daughter song, and our mother-son song. Nightlife is a wonderful DJ service and we had a great experience with them!

I highly recommend Nighife to be your dj!!! They are affordable, kind, knowledgeable and really get to know you before being your dj. Pete was amazing, our only request was to keep our guests on the dance floor. I, the bride, danced all night long. We’ve had so many people say it was the best wedding they’d ever been too. I truly believe that was due to Pete. He helped with literally everything! He made sure that everything was timed right, from the grand march, to cake cutting, to each special dance. He even helped determine when to end, because everyone was still having a good time and I had more time with our venue. He was the absolute best, and did I mention so affordable!!!!!

We were really disappointed in Nightlife all around! We booked them almost a year in advance and had read reviews about how great and professional they were. They did not live up to the reviews. I asked to get our DJ earlier than 1-3weeks before as I was planning the wedding out of town. It took 4 phones calls with voicemails , 3 emails, 1 message over the knot. I finally just pressed random buttons and a real human picked up and blammed technical errors with there system. The DJ then showed up to our meeting 30 minutes late. With paper and no pencil to write our requests down. I emailed him our schedule in advance and asked him to keep the night on track and announce (etc) which he seemed reluctant to announce at all. On the wedding day he never printed the schedule out, did not follow it, forgot important information about timing.( I has the bride had to go over and tell him it’s first dance time) On top of that the music was not good and he even went as far at to tell guests the music sucked, grind with a guest, and drink the beer meant for the guests (spending 50%) of his time actually at the booth. HORRIBLE-will never recommend to family or friends

Justin was our DJ at our wedding and he was AMAZING! He was very professional and was so much fun. Justin was great to work with and created an amazing set list that was exactly what we had envisioned. We received so many compliments about him. I highly recommend Nightlife Entertainment!

We had Jason as our DJ on our wedding in June. I couldn't be happier with the job he did. He had great communication with us ahead of time and wanted to make sure everything was going our way. He was very timely with getting the bridal party in line and announced. He was also very timely with our schedule like first dances, anniversary dance, shoe game, etc. He did all special requests we had from him and did a great job!

Pete was a fantastic DJ, who was an absolute pleasure to work with! I was nervous about booking a DJ because I just didn't know what to look for or expect, but Pete made everything so easy and enjoyable that it wound up being one of the easiest parts of planning our wedding reception. You can tell that he truly enjoys what he does, and really takes care to make the couples he works with feel special. He was great at reading the crowd and adjusting the music, was quick to play requests (which I really appreciated), and the music library is massive. At the end of the evening, both my husband and I were very impressed by Pete's combination of professionalism and friendliness, and will happily recommend him to anyone we can!

Pete was great to work with! From my initial inquiry to the end of my wedding night, he was wonderful! The online planning form is a great tool they use to understand what music selection you want to be played and they can get to know you too! They made sure that I knew what was going on and how the night was going to go. He made everything smooth while coordinating with my venue. Highly recommend checking them out!!

We hired Pete and payed him, but for financial reasons decided to cancel having a DJ at all. Although he didn't need to, he refunded our full payment. We deeply appreciate that, because the contract stipulated that he could have kept the money. I just want to make sure that everyone hears about this kind deed of his!

We chose Nightlife Entertainment because they DJ'd at a friend's wedding in 2015 that we really enjoyed--they were fantastic then and were fantastic two years later for ours! Pete was wonderful, from the first meeting until the lights came on at the end of our reception. He was easy to work with, responded quickly and has an amazingly vast knowledge of music. He was flexible in dealing with our requests and had a philosophy to not make your wedding sound like every other wedding you've been too. We also had Pete do the music for our ceremony--we'd highly recommend Nightlife Entertainment to anyone.

We are so thrilled we hired Nightlife Entertainment to DJ our wedding! Everything went so great, surpassed our expectations! Pete was continually checking in with us about guest requests, helping us stay on schudule for the day and making announcements and accommodating unexpected additions to the day, like bagpipes! We appreciated him working with venue staff and the photographers to coordinate special moments so we could just enjoy the day without worrying about keeping everyone on the same page. The ceremony music was exactly as we had planned and timed perfectly. Reception music was on point with the mood of the guests. I never saw the dance floor empty! Nightlife Entertainment was wonderful to work with. Any questions I had, they answered. The only reason I gave them four instead of five stars, was because there were a few specific songs that I talked to the DJ about playing (the week before when we talked) and he didn't play those. Otherwise, he was very friendly, engaging with the guests, and I would definitely recommend Nightlife Entertainment.

Our DJ Pete was so open to all of the things we wanted to do throughout the night and making changes on the fly! The music was great throughout the entire night and continued until we partied til we dropped

Our DJ was Pete and he was phenomenal! He accommodated our guests' requests for music (even the weird ones like "Time Warp") and played exactly what people could dance to - I don't think the dance floor was empty all night! Joe was also fantastic at fielding all of my questions, which I really appreciated. We absolutely would recommend Nightlife Entertainment to any couple looking to be involved in the choice of music played and dance the night away!

Our DJ, AJ, did an AMAZING job! We had lots of non-traditional requests for our ceremony music, and he did a fantastic job! He took requests, incorporated music I hadn’t though of, and used lots of the recommendations I sent. It was the perfect blend of “us” and “just what the party ordered”. Thank you so much!

We hired Nightlife Entertainment for our wedding and we were very pleased with everything. The office people were super nice and always responded quickly. The DJ was great! He played tons of requests and had people dancing till almost 1:00am. It was a great party and our friends really enjoyed it!

We used Nightlife Entertainment for both our ceremony and dance and both were amzing. The ceremony was outside and I was originally worried that our guests would not be able to hear the music or us okay. With their sound system, the music was exactly the right level, not too loud, not too quiet. Everything was tested before our guests arrived and the ceremony was seamless. We also had a great expereince for our dance. Although my husband and I have a range of musical taste, we had specific guidelines of what we did and did not want played at our wedding. Unlike most weddings, we did not want any typical wedding songs played (YMCA, electric slide, etc). Our DJ, Pete, stayed true what we wanted and gave the guests what they wanted too. Pete was absolutely amazing the entire night, he was able to feel what the crowd wanted and kept the dance going. Pete checked in with us throughout the night and I truly felt like I didn't have to worry about the music one bit. Getting ready for the ceremony and dance was also rather unique. Nightlife has an interactive music database online that you use to set your preferred playlists. The DJs get this list before you have your final meeting with them so they are able to get a good feel of what is expected. And if a song or artist isn't on their list, they will try to find it or can play it if you provide it. When we had our meeting with our DJ, he seemed to understand and really care about us and our event. It wasn't another night for them, they wanted to make our wedding special. I have absolutely no complaints about our DJ service and highly recommend them.

I never write reviews, but we had Nightlife Entertainment DJ's at our wedding last Saturday. I couldn't have been happier with everything. We originally hired a friend whom backed out 3 weeks before the wedding. We had picked up a flyer from a wedding fair and Joe at Nightlife honored the price even though it had expired. They got us all set up and helped with the music requests and planning. The DJ was really nice and did a great job on such short notice. Our guests had a wonderful time. Everyone we worked with really bent over backwards for us on a very last minute event. I felt comfortable with them right away and I will be recommending them to any friends that are getting married!

Nightlife Entertainment was super easy to work with and took care of everything we wanted. The only negative comment I heard was the music was too loud for those guests wanting to talk. As a bride on the dance floor all night I think the dj did a great job! Thanks

Our dance floor was full the entire night - Nick M. was great! We provided a playlist, but he worked his magic to ensure our guests were bust in' a move all night long!

The Dj kept everything flowing. Played all the songs we requested and also songs the guests requested. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ.

Our DJ was wonderful. We had fun planning out our songs and the DJ stuck to our requests and made the event fun. The company was pretty easy to work with and they were quick to respond to our questions. The lighting looked really nice! A+!!!

Our DJ was okay. The only reason we're not giving him a better rating is because he failed to do two of the things that we specifically talked with him about when he called before the wedding (anniversary dance with us and grandparents and a special song for our parents). He also didn't want play a song that I requested (it was a slow song and as the bride I thought that wasn't okay). I understand that there were people on the dance floor but up to that point he hadn't played ANY slow songs so we wanted a few for our older guests and parents... There were people on the dance floor the entire night which was great but he only wanted to play certain songs. I know when there were requests his response was "in a x amount of songs I'll play it". It was a fun reception I just wish we had had someone who was a more flexible and listened to what we (as the bride and groom) wanted.

Joe the sales manager was great. He answered emails quickly and outside of normal business hours, which was great as I was out of state away from computers during the normal 9-5 workday. Great price and great service. Our dj provided great cocktail/dinner hour music. Listened carefully to our instructions regarding the explicit lyrics and must play songs.

We had nightlife last Friday. Alex was our DJ and everything was perfect! We had a hiccup with our venue switching locations at the last minute and Alex just jumped up and moved equipment and got music going right away. They did our entire reception including dinner and set-up a slide show for us. The dance floor was packed all night long and Alex did an awesome job handling a ton of request. We had about 300 guests and everyone said the DJ rocked. We are extremely pleased and would recommend them to anyone. It was pretty cheap too!

We loved Adam- he was fun, helpful, he knew his way around a wedding (garter toss, first dances, etc.) We had so much fun because of him!!

I met Joe, the owner, and I was sold on using them to play our reception. The dj chooses you after reviewing your music choices. There was a little confusion the week of the wedding, as the dj was injured and we got a replacement, but not to worry. Dominic was superb! The ceremony music was great and the reception was amazing! Guests had such a good time, we even had an encore after the final song! Thanks to them, I added a lot of awesome memories of my perfect day!

Overall the experience was okay. They showed up on time and were organized about everything, but I was really hoping for an outgoing, engaging DJ (and had requested one) and Chris was pretty reserved and not very outgoing or exciting. Not bad, just not the best personality match to a DJ. My only other complaint was that a week before the wedding, I warned him the head table was across the room from the DJ table, but he still didn't bring a microphone that worked so the speeches were very choppy and finally resulted in the MOH walking over to his table so it wouldn't cut out. Other than that, no complaints. The company itself was great and cheap compared to others, especially since we needed service for almost nine hours.

We found Nightlife at the Twin City Bridal Wedding Fair, and they were the only DJ that didn't have a sound system set up and blaring. Instead, they had a HUGE music library to look at and wanted to talk about the services they have for the ceremony and reception/dance. We were able to have jazz during dinner and some big band, pop, rock and everything in between at the dance. We were also able to control how many requests were taken by the guests and have a must plan and no play list of music. The DJ also set up all the microphones and speakers for the ceremony and followed the music cues. It all went smoothly.

I was exceptionally pleased at how receptive our Dj was to our requests and ideas for our reception music. The music was perfect for our wedding guests, the dance floor was packed the entire night. The music was able to work well with our younger guests and our older guests!! Great company to work with!!

Dominic was awesome! The price was right for the coverage they gave. They went from 45 minutes before dinner to midnight for only $595! They had a bit of a mix up with songs but hey it happens lol!

They played all the music we asked them to play, everyone danced!!

I don't have anything against the DJ that came. He just looked like he just finished high school. The one complaint that we had was that he didn't play a lot of the songs on our play list.

Our DJ was great. He was super friendly and kept the dance floor busy all night! They had a great online survey to be sure you are matched with the right DJ personality.

We used Nightlife last night. Our DJ Alex was wonderful! They company was very friendly and easy to work with. Alex was so nice and went above and beyond! He set-up early, moved at the last minute and kept the dance floor packed all night. Our guests loved him and he was very professional! Price was great and the service was perfect!

Nightlife did everything I expected them to and they would have done more if I asked. DJ called the week of to confirm everything and had great suggestions if I wasn't sure about something. Their equipment worked great. The DJ played most of the songs on my request list. The only negative thing was his transitions into other songs. Sometimes he cut the songs off alittle early when we wanted to hear the whole song. Some of my friends said he didn't play their requests, but I didn't expect him to play every song my guests requested. Overall, great DJ and great company. I got the unlimited music package for a great price.

We used Nightlife last week and it was perfect. The DJ was awesome! He played all of our requests while mixing in what our guests wanted. He was friendly, polite and really seemed to enjoy celebrating with us. This was a wonderful company to work with and I'm really glad we had such a great DJ!

I really loved our DJ for our wedding. He followed our music selections that we had made online though their website 100%, he called me the week before the wedding to confirm everything and to see if their were any changes, and he played guest requests.

After spending hours carefully selecting music and deciding on what we wanted in a dj service, I did some research. My cousin recently was married and used this company, and said that they were great to work with. My (then) fiancé and I went to have a meeting and we absolutely agreed! The company was represented quite well and we were excited about our choice to sign a contract. We then spent a few more hours over the next few weeks answering the dj questionnaire to ensure that we would be given an appropriate dj for our event. We were also told that we would be contacted about a week or two before our wedding to talk with our dj about the details. I'm certainly not sure why I wasted ANY time filling out the questionnaire OR picking music for our "MUST PLAY" list. The dj we were assigned was Adam...DO NOT USE HIM! He called 3 days before the wedding, and he played maybe 3 songs from our MUST play list and played dinner music so loud, it was difficult to talk to the guests at the table. One main thing I was sure to communicate was the importance of keeping the music flowing as to ensure people would stay on the dance floor. After 45 minutes of no one dancing, I went and yelled at the dj explaining that it was completely unacceptable to have no body dancing and that he was to "fix it". To make matters worse...he assumed "casual" meant a zip up hoodie...are you kidding me? WHAT WAS HE THINKING?!?! Needless to say, I had an alright time at the reception, but it was completely in thanks to my guest who were requesting music all night, if not for them, I would've left 4 hours earlier! The original meeting was great, I wish that guy was our dj. What an absolute disappointment!

Our DJ did an amazing job!! He played the music we wanted all night, he was very nice to the guests and played their requests! He was very quick to fix the microphone problem! Overall we loved our DJ!

They did a great job. They were always available to answer any questions I had prior to our wedding and the, d.j. we had was great. He played the music we requested and got people out on the dance floor. Overall I was satisfied with their service and would recommend them to others.

we had Matt Totone for our DJ and he was great to work with!! he listened to everything we asked, made suggestions, asked our approval before listening to my MIL suggestions, and helped my mom, aunt and cousins plan a surprise for us!

We used Nightlife for our DJ at our reception. Matt was very friendly, alsways confirming with us with what to do, and listened to our thoughts and requests. Pretty much everyone enjoyed the music. In fact there were over 20 people of the 110 at our wedding that were on the dance floor most of the night because of the music selection and sound. We are so happy with Matt and Nightlife Entertainment!

Our DJ, Matt, was excellent. He contacted us the week of to make sure that everything had been finalized and that he had all the songs that were on our 'must play' list. The day of he came extra early to set-up so that he wouldn't get there while the ceremony was going on. Then he came out and explained to the wedding party how we were going to enter and made sure he had all the names right (a key for someone with a now rarely pronounced correctly last name). The dinner music was great and once the dance started he had the floor pumping and people dancing all night long.

The DJ we had kept the party going which was my biggest concern. They have a HUGE music database and played almost everything we requested. I do wish they would have mixed in some older music as the night went on. After 10pm it was mostly dancey Top 40 songs.

Chris our DJ was very attentive and was on top of every part of our ceremony and reception. He was informative and work with our schedule and needs. Our guests were dancing all night it seemed a shame for the night to come to an end. Working with Nightlife DJ's was easy and fun to do. Their online planner was easy to use and made planning our event with them simple. I would recommend them to anyone. M & J Gomez

We had Chris for our DJ. He was great to work with. We hired Nightlife through through a cross promotion. I'm glad we did! Chris was fun, nice, and entergetic. He played all of our request and made every announcement we asked for. I expected the dance to be wonderful and it was.

The dance was great. The DJ was fun and played all of our music. We all had a blast. Very professional and easy to work with. Price was for the whole evening and very affordable. Great service!

We used nightlife for both ceremony and reception music. We were very specific in our requests and had very complicated ceremony music. Our dj handled all of it perfectly! He even came to the rehersal. We would recomend them.
